When Kanan spotted the Inquisitor just before the cell door closed behind him, he felt his Kyper crystal in his lightsaber ring out "danger, danger." But to be honest, he didn't care about his wellbeing. All he cared about, was Ezra's life being in danger. He switched his lightsaber on after putting the two parts together, as the Inquisitor approached him and Ezra.

"I must say, I was surprised when Kallus told me and my Master that there was a Jedi during the breakout of wookies a few weeks ago. However, when they told me that your youngest ward was Anakin's youngest child... Well, then my interest opened up."

Ezra simply backed away as the Jedi hunter continued speaking. "Master Luminara may have died with the Republic, but her bones continue to serve the Empire, luring the last Jedi to their ends."

Ezra picked up his comlink to wan the others, but they weren't responding. "Kanan, Specter five and four aren't answering!...

Kanan knew that Empire jammed their comlinks. Launching forward, he swung his lightsaber at the Inquisitor. However, as Kanan kept launching his lightsaber at the Jedi hinter, it didn't seem like the Inquisitor was breaking a sweat! What he said next though, shocked Kanan to the core!..."

"Impressive... It seems you trained with Jedi Master Depa Billaba."

Kanan's body went ice cold at the sound of Depa. The only person who had ever heard about his Master was Hera and no one else. So how could this person know about her?...

"H... How…? Who are you?"

"My new apprentice tells a lot about you as a child...! In close-quarter fighting, Billaba's emphasis was always on Form Three. But you favour to a ridiculous degree.”

Suddenly, the Inquisitor grabs Kanan's forearm before throwing him into the wall! Ezra immediately ran over to his friend. "Kanan!..."

The young boy placed a concerned hand on Kanan's shoulder, which caused Kanan to get back up and fight. He rather die before he would let anyone hurt Ezra. The Inquisitor just smirked, knowing that he still hasn't changed in almost fifteen years. "Clearly, you were a poor student."

Ezra just got up and shot a few energy blasts from his slingshot but it goes unaffected by the Jedi hunter. "Is that really all you've got, my boy!... "

Ezra smirked, crossing arms before pointing to the cell door. "Well, I've got that!..." The bomb that Sabine gave him earlier blew against the door, setting him and Kanan free. They both run for it, but a different Sith user shows up right in front of them! Ezra easily knows who it is...

"It's been a long time, Mark!...."

Kanan stiffs in surprise as well as the Inquisitor as he approaches them. "You must be the so-called adopted brother he's told me about!..."

Mark just grabs his lightsaber as raised his lightsaber. "My master will spare your friend, provided you do as I say. Renounce your Jedi ways and join the Emperor's Army. He can help save your family!

Ezra just glared at him, not even wanting to have anything to do with Emperor. "Don't believe everything that bonehead tells you! He doesn't want to help me, he wants to control me!

"Then I will take you in by force."

"You've always looked down on me because I'm wild, but fortunately, that just made me work harder than you."

Ezra starts shooting energy shots at Mark while Kanan and the Inquisitor continued their lightsaber duel. While the older Jedi defended against him, Inquisitor smirked at Ezra, who was still defending himself from Mark. "Are you paying attention, boy? The Jedi are dead!.... But there is another path: the dark side."

Ezra just held his arm in exhaustion from using his slingshot so much but refused to let his anger control him because of what Mark did to him and Sara. "Never heard of it!.... (GROANS IN EXHAUSTION.)"

"It's sad to see you slowing down brother, tell me, is it because of Sara?"

Ezra refuses to give in to his anger like Mark did and gets up to use his slingshot again.

"Maybe it is because of what did to our family, but then how pathetic are you, that you can't beat me at my worst!"

As the two continued to fight, Kanan just watched in concern and worry as the Inquisitor lowered his lightsaber. "Have you told him nothing?.... Do you really think that you can save the child?!... For his sake, surrender!...."

Kanan just shook his head, refusing to lose Ezra after he has meant so much to him the last few days. "I'm not making deals with you!"

Hmmm, then we'll let him make one, shall we?...."

The Jedi Hunter force pushes Kanan back against a wall, knocking him out as he watches Mark and Ezra argue. "Maybe you are stronger than me, but that made me work smarter! I became sharp, crafty!"

"A lapdog for a tyrant!

"You always thought you were better than me, that I could never beat you at anything."

"I am better than you!"

The Inquisitor just approached them, raising his lightsaber to finish Ezra off for good. "Oh, I do so admire your persistence!.... Ready to die?..."

Ezra just closes his eyes, bracing for the pain of the red lightsaber. However, Kanan woke to see Ezra was in trouble! "NO!..... (USES THE FORCE TO KNOCK BOTH OF THEM OUT BEFORE TURNING TO EZRA.) Kid, run!..."

Ezra does so and helps Kanan up before he leads Ezra out of the hallway. "Come on kid, let's go!...." Ezra gave Kanan his lightsaber just as they ran into Sabine and Zeb around the corner.

"Kid! Kanan, over here!..."

Kansan smiled, relieved to see Sabine and Zeb were both okay. "You guys figured it out this mission was a setup?..."

Sabine nodded before replied nice and direct. "Yeah, a bunch of bucket heads and the fact you and Ezra weren't answering your comms was a bit of a giveaway."

"And Luminara?..." Zeb asked.

Ezra just looked at the floor before telling bitterly. "Long gone!...."

Zeb just rolled his eyes, knowing they need a new plan... Again!... "And how do we get out of here now?..."

"The landing platform!..." Kanan realized quickly.

Sabine didn't think that was a good idea. "Wait, didn't Hera said it was impossible to go that way?"

Ezra just replies with the voice of reason. "Well, let's just hope that the Empire thinks so too."

They were almost to the landing platform when Ezra heard the Inquisitor's voice over the alarm speakers, meaning he and Mark woke up. "Secure the facility, activate a complete lockdown!..."

Sabine just gritted her teeth at that. "Karabast!..."

Zeb knew that for once, he and Sabine could agree on something!... "My thoughts exactly!..."

The blast doors were closing fast! Sabine and Zeb managed to squeeze through as well as Kanan, but ezra couldn't move fast enough, and the door was about to close on him! Suddenly, Kanan pulls him inside just as the door closes! Kanan knelt down to see if Ezra is alright. "Are you okay?..."

Ezra gets up, a little shakey, but okay. "(SIGHS) Yeah, I'll live!... Come on, let's keep moving!..."

Sabine makes no hasty decision to stay any longer, however the Inquisitor's red lightsaber comes through the door! Zeb steps back a little shocked before Ezra calls him!

"Zeb, come on!..."

Zeb is a little shocked back the red blade that almost hit him, but replies before running to catch up with Ezra. "Y-yeah... I-I'm coming!..."

They come out to the landing platform and Sabine blasts the door controls shut! "(SIGHS) That should provide Hera some time!..."

Kanan tries to open the main hanger, but it's no use! "(GROANS IN FRUSTRATION.) I'm locked out!..."

Ezra grabs a manipulator out from his yellow bag, trying to hack into the system. However, an electric shock zapped through Ezra's arm, causing him to drop the manipulator and falling forward on his back. "(STIFFS IN PAIN.) S-sorry!..."

Kanan reaches down and helps Ezra up to his feet. "Ezra!..."

Sabine starts to get nervous at the Inquisitor getting closer. "Just do something!..."

Ezra looks at the hand and remembers his Force powers and turns to Kanan. "Dash it all!... You stand back, I'll get the hanger door!...."

Kanan nods and steps back as Ezra closes his eyes and starts to picture the lock in his mind. Zeb is a bit nervous since the Inquisitor is getting closer. "Excuse me, but can we train Ezra later?!"

However, Zeb's voice didn't break his focus. And when he opens his eyes, he sees the door is open with Hera waiting for them, much to his and Sabine's surprise!.... "Hey, it worked!..."

"Team up!..."

"Hera, start the ship!...

The older woman just rolls her eyes. "What could've possibly happened since I last spoke with you?!..."

"Hera, you heard the kid! Talk later, run now!..."

Zeb is confused at Sabine as Ezra goes to help Kanan. "How did you know he could pull it off?..."

"Your roommate is full of surprises!..."

Ezra helps Kanan up to his feet as the older Jedi sighs, smiling. "Specter Six... You just broke protocol for me!..."

Ezra smiles, feeling happy in almost Five years. "For the mission, and you... Partner!..."

They see the Inquisitor's saber along with Mark's burns the door open before they turn back to the ship. "Oops, time to go!..."

They both get on the Phantom as Hera files off the platform. Before Ezra closes the door though, he smirks at Mark who has finally caught up with his Master. "Bon voyage, Mark Bridger!..."

Mark just glares at the ship leaving. "This is why only I get the solo missions!.... CURSE YOU, EZRA SKYWALKER!..."

Ezra just slumps in his seat in relief, they were all safe now!..."
