Percy's point of view
Part of the day after the war ended was taken up by burning the shrouds of those we'd lost. I went to both the camps to pay my respects and some of the other gods did as well. Quite a few of the other gods had lost children or legacies in the battles and I could see that it affected some of them more than others. Most of them were clearly grieving while Ares didn't seem to care as much. Obviously that kind of annoyed me but there wasn't any point in mentioning it to him since I was pretty sure that at this point he wasn't going to change. If he was going to he could  have done it a long time ago. 
At Camp Jupiter after most of the other gods had left I noticed that Zoe was talking to Reyna. I didn't know what they were talking about since I wasn't close enough to overhear them but I doubted it was anything too important. As far as I know they weren't that close but I could be wrong since I don't know everything that the twins do in their spare time. I wasn't too concerned about it since I might find out more about what's going on between them eventually anyway.
After I left Camp Jupiter, I headed back to my palace where I knew I would most likely find Amber. I knew that Apollo and Hermes were planning to have their party in a couple days, and although I didn't really agree with it I knew I would have to at least make an appearance since I'm the king of the gods. That also means that Amber would have to come with me even if we don't stay very long.
After I returned to my palace I spoke with Amber, and I was slightly surprised when she seemed to be okay with going. I guess that kind of made sense though, since the last real celebration we'd been to on Olympus had been our wedding reception.  most of the time we don't bother going to Apollo and Hermes' parties. More often than not they usually get pretty crazy after a while, and we're not really interested in anything like that. Well, that and the fact that neither of us are really interested in going to a lot of parties, most of the time we are content to just spend time together, or with our children.
Not to mention that Amber usually spends a lot of time reading. She has also been trying to get me to read more. Now that I'm a god dyslexia isn't really a problem for me anymore so I have cooperated and she did get me to read a few of her favourite books. I still don't read as much as her but I don't mind picking up a book once in a while.
For a while Amber and I just spent some time together but we were interrupted when Chaos appeared in the room. At first I was concerned since I didn't know why he had come. Amber and I quickly bowed, and said, "Lord chaos,"
He said, "I have come because there is one last thing that needs to be taken care of before we can put the war behind us. I could have taken care of it myself, however I believed that I should get your council's agreement first,"
I didn't really know what he meant but I asked, "Do you want us to call a meeting then?"
He replied, "Yes, once this matter is dealt with we can finally put this war behind us,"
After that we went to the throne room on Olympus where I summoned the other gods to a meeting. Once they were all there Chaos began speaking, "Olympians, I asked Perseus to call you all here because we need to discuss what to do with your former king, Zeus. Although he is currently imprisoned I think there is another punishment that could lead to him  becoming a better person,"
Some of us looked shocked, others looked at him in confusion, and a few others had looks of dawning realization. Unsurprisingly Amber was one of the ones who looked like she might have guessed what Chaos might have in mind for Zeus. Not only did I not have any idea of how he was thinking of punishing Zeus I was shocked. I also couldn't remember seeing Zeus during any of the battles. Had he been there early in the battle in Greece while I was still basically unconscious? That sounded like what had most likely happened but I would ask Amber about it later.
I honestly couldn't imagine any punishment that could make Zeus change and become a better person, I doubted that even the most horrible torture would make Zeus change his opinions. Chaos continued after I asked, "What is the punishment that you think could change him,"
Chaos replied, "I believe that if he is forced to spend some time living as a mortal he will see how difficult their lives are and having to truly fear for his own life may change him. He may learn that arrogance and violence aren't usually   helpful to earn the favour of others, or how to be a proper leader,"
I had to admit that Chaos might be right, If anything would change Zeus it would probably be that. Although I didn't really want to make mortals have to deal with him it seemed  like a good idea. Chaos said he would strip Zeus of his immortality and powers so he wouldn't be able to harm mortals as easily. He would also have someone keep an eye on Zeus and eventually he would decide if Zeus had changed enough to earn his powers and immortality back. I didn't have high hopes that he would, but who knows, I certainly didn't. 
Although most of us were skeptical of whether Zeus could actually change we went along with Chaos' idea. He said that while Zeus is a mortal someone else will have to take on his domains. Chaos left the choice of who to give them to up to us and in the end we settled on Jason. Not everyone agreed with this, but most of us felt like he was best suited to take them on since he was Zeus's son.  I think some of the other gods were concerned that he would end up being like his father, but because he was one of my best friends and I knew him well,   I was pretty sure he wouldn't. Even if he did end up becoming more like his father, he wouldn't be able to control us the way Zeus had since I would still be the king of the gods. In addition to that I didn't think he would ever challenge me for that position even if he does change.
chaos summoned jason, who was surprised and confused when he appeared in the throne room. Chaos let me explain to Jason what was going on, and although he was still kind of shocked he Agreed to take on his father's domains. To take on his father's domains  he had to become a god and for some reason  Chaos decided to make him one instead of having us do it. If Zeus does eventually redeems himself Jason could get different domains, or be reduced to a minor god in his father's domains.
Chaos also  took care of Zeus, He summoned him to the throne room, I quickly noticed that Zeus was shackled. I was also certain that the chains suppressed his powers. Chaos quickly informed Zeus of why he had summoned him and once he knew that,  he was furious.  Of course, that wasn't really surprising since it doesn't take much to make him angry. He glared at us, even Jason, an then he started his angry rant. His rant also included many insults aimed at all of us except  Chaos. Apparently he is smart enough to not insult the creator of the universe.
We all did our best to ignore him, and we did  until he insulted Amber. First he said that she was a  weak mortal who didn't deserve to sit where she was. But if anything his next insult was worse. He said that she was nothing but my whore.  As you might expect that pissed me off. I wanted to send him right back to Tartarus but I knew he might just end up getting himself killed once he's turned mortal anyway and I could subtly try and lessen his chances of redemption. s after that last insulting word left his mouth I snapped my fingers and Zeus realized he couldn't open his mouth to continue his tirade. Technically I didn't need to snap my fingers. I just did it so Zeus would know who had made him unable to speak. Moments after that Chaos took way Zeus' godhood and powers and gave them to Jason along with his master bolt. Once that was done I sent Zeus to the Mortal World because I just wanted him out of my sight before I decided to kill him instead of giving him another chance.
and hopefully we wouldn't hear about him again for a while. I doubted that Zeus would change, but obviously I wouldn't actually know for a while.  After that meeting ended we left, we returned to our palace and not much else happened that day. Tomorrow would be Apollo's party, and although I knew I wasn't really looking forward to it I would still stay for a little while and try to enjoy it.
Zoe's POV

I was thankful that the war was finally over, although I was thankful that we'd won despite the odds being stacked against us, I couldn't help but think that far too many people had died so we could succeed and some of those were demigods and Legacies who were still quite young. I didn't even want to imagine if we'd lost Luke, I might tease him a lot but I still care about him a lot. I'm sure that if he'd been killed during the battles I would have been devastated. Emily and I had known him for as long as we could remember. we might not always see him often, but he's our brother and he's extremely important to us. 
I knew about the party that Apollo and Hermes were throwing, and I also knew that all the older demigods were invited in addition to the gods. I also knew that Reyna was going. I was happy about that since I'd been getting to know her for a little while and I think we are more than just friends now. She'd first caught my attention when Emily and  I visited camp Jupiter after the fates announced our domains. Reyna is basically my dad's champion since he had given her his full blessing shortly after he'd become a god. This meant that in addition to having some powers from him she was also immortal. I was thankful for that, considering how close we were getting.
The day of Apollo and Hermes' Party I was kind of looking forward to it. I don't think we would stay too late since Apollo and Hermes' parties can get pretty crazy when it gets late. I'd heard rumors about things that had happened at parties on Olympus and I didn't want any of those things to happen to me, mainly because I didn't want to end up doing something humiliating.

As we all arrived on Olympus just before the party would start, I could see that practically everything had been decorated. There were also several tables with food and drinks on them. I saw Nectar, Ambrosia, Wine, Beer, and various mortal sodas. I also saw various mortal snacks like potato chips, and other things. I knew they were probably meant for the demigods who were coming, although some of the gods might also like them I didn't know for sure. I did know that the muses would  be providing the music,  yet the music would sound different to everyone depending on what they prefer to listen to.
I was sure that Apollo and Hermes had been the first ones to get here, but based on what I had noticed when I arrived I was sure that the rest of the olympians had followed soon afterward. Gradually everyone arrived, including the demigods who had been invited, Among them I saw my brother Luke, his girlfriend, two guys, if I remember correctly their names are Nico Di Angelo and Will Solace. I also saw Jason Grace and his sister Thalia, and of course Reyna. We had been expected to dress up a bit for this so this was my first time seeing her in a dress and I was finding it hard to not stare at her. I was used to seeing her in casual clothes and her preator's cape and usually also armour, occasionally I had  even seen her in a toga, but never in a dress. sure in my mind she looked great no matter what she was wearing but seeing her in a dress was very different from seeing her in casual clothes. Once everyone arrived was when the party really got underway,  some people danced, others immediately went to get food or drinks or both, some of the demigods went to talk to their parent, or one of their friends, It was at that point when I went over to Reyna
We hadn't really told anyone about our relationship yet, I did plan on telling my parents soon, most of the legionaries at Camp Jupiter had probably figured it out themselves since I visit the camp often and when I'm there I spend most of my time with Reyna. In other words it wouldn't be too hard to figure out if you're paying attention.  After I reached her Reyna and I wandered off  into a garden where we thought we might have some privacy, although I hoped no one had noticed us leaving.

A/N I'm sorry this took so long. I had writer's block on this story for quite a while. I know I changed Zoe and Reyna's relationship from the previous chapters but I will go back and edit the earlier chapters to go along with this. This story will probably only have one more chapter, at most. Let me know if you want me to do the idea I got for a sequel.
