"S-Stop please! OW!" I said as I shielded my face to prevent it from getting hit. "Hah! Why should we stop?" A woman said with a laugh. I hated this more than anything. "Shut up reject! No one cares about your opinion!" A man said. "Ow! P-please! PLEASE!!" I heard a girl scream. She was on the other side of town. After nightfall, I ran over to her, while I was doing that, it started to pour. She was crying. She had horns like me, so she was a demon. She was covered in bruises and had a scar on her left cheek. "Are you okay?!" I asked sitting by her side. "*sniff* Y-yeah... I'm- ow, fine..." She said wiping her tears. "No you aren't. And you're shivering.", "You're right... I'm really not fine..." She said sadly, she lowered her head. "I know what it's like, kinda... When you try to be brave, it doesn't work. Right?" I asked. "Y-yeah... What's your name?"
She asked, smiling. "Dante. What's yours?" I smiled. "Oh, uh... I... Don't really have... A name..." She said shyly. "WHAAAT??" I exclaimed. "Haruka!!" I said. "Ah- wait... Is that my new name?" She asked surprised at first, then really happy. "Yeah, I-I just so happen to like that name!.." I could feel my face heating up. "I have an idea Dante!" She jumped up. "What?", "Let's run away together!" She said starting to pull my arm towards the gate. "Good idea! Let's go!"
-Flashback End!-
I still remember it like it was yesterday. But now I'm 23, we've traveled together for as long as I remember. She's 22, a year younger, we've both learned how to use magic, and we've mastered the art of fire and ice. "DAAANNTEE!" She yelled. "WHAAAAAT?" I yelled back. "I found something!!" She yelled back. "Coming!" I ran in her direction. I saw her, her horn was broken. It always has been thanks to some jackass monster. But another unique part about her is that she has ice blue eyes. Which, in my opinion seems pretty rare. Because I've never seen anyone with those color eyes before. Anyways I was trailing off. "Hello?! Dante snap out of it! Cuz we got trouble!!" She was fighting off a bunch of monsters. "Oh Shit! I'm coming!" My hands caught fire, because it's my magic, after all. The fire on my hands was a brilliant shade of orange and scarlet. And some yellow too. "Bonk!" I said as I punched one of them square in the face. "Haha!" She said. "Haruka! Set up the ice rink!" I yelled with a giant smile. "You got it!"
