BREAKFAST

do you think
i will one day stop
missing you like the
deserts miss the rain?
maybe i will wake up
for the first time tomorrow
without thinking of what
to cook the both of us for
dinner, and instead i will
wake up craving sunny
side-ups and bacon for
breakfast, and i will
remember to only
make one cup of coffee,
just one for me.
i know it is always
easy to leave, but allow me
to keep my love in my heart,
leave me with memories
of you, that's the least
you can do for me.
if that one day comes,
