So much time has passed,so much has happened. For starters,we started working with Lotor,who said he wants to change to Galra empire to a peaceful one. He wasn't trusted at first,Allura kept him locked away and in exchange he gave us information on different Galra places to strike. He even helped us get Commander Sam Holt,Pidge and Matt's father. During that,Lotor killed Zarkon. He wanted us to go to a ceremony called a Kral Zera,to decide the the new emperor. Shiro wanted to go but the rest of didn't,it was too dangerous. So in response Shiro,who had been acted strange for a while,took Lotor to the Kral Zera without telling us. It was reveled there that Sendak is still alive with a new robotic arm. Commander Holt went back to Earth to warn everyone,and bring our families video messages we recorded. Then Allura and Lotor started working together to get the unlimited quintessence he promised the Galra. First they went to a place of Altean legend called Oriande to get the knowledge of ancient Altean alchemy,and used that knowledge to outfit Lotor's ship to travel through the rift of Daibazaal. Allura and Lotor seemed to grow closer,much to Lance distaste.

During this time,I've been spending a lot of time training to get my mind off of Keith being gone. We talked several times with the communicator he gave me,and the only time I saw his face was when we all talked to him and Kolivan. The training I've been doing has paid off,as I've noticed my build has become bigger and I can lift things I couldn't before with ease. I've also been spending a lot of time with Pidge and Lance,growing closer to them. Pidge now being one of my closest freinds. I've been with Lance to comfort him about Allura,while he comfort me about Keith. 

Now currently, we are gathered in the main room,watching Allura and Lotor get ready to fly through the rift.

"I can't be the only one who thinks this is crazy right? Just getting in there is a long shot. Then they have to make it out again?" Hunk speaks up.

"I agree with Hunk. This plan is foolhardy and unnecessary risk." Coran says,who has been frowning at the screen.

"I don't know. We've traveled through the quintessence field into another reality. This isn't just theoretical physics. Mathematically,we know it's possible." Pidge says. Coran snaps over to her.

"Well,its hard to argue with math. Believe me,I tried."

"But,if if they do reach the quintessence field,then what? The last time anyone got in there,it turned Zarkon evil." Lance speaks up beside me.

"Lance makes a fine pint,take that math!"

"Zarkon fell prey to his own evil instincts. The quintessence field didn't create them,it revealed them." Shiro says. After that Allura and Lotor,launch the ship. We wait in tense silence.

"T-minus ten ticks to gate entry." Coran says and begins counting down. We stare intently at the screen as they get closer to the gate. We watch as they fly through. We sit in silence until an alarm blares.

"I've got in incoming craft." Coran says while looking at the screen.

"Shields up. And put it on the screen." Shiro says. Coran does,and a pod shows.

"That's impossible! It's an Altean pod! A really old one!"

"What's it doin' out here?" Lance asks.

"Let's find out. Attention Altean pod,identify yourself." 

"Shiro,it's Keith."

"Keith!" I gasp out. I hear everyone talk to him,but I drown them out as I stare at Keith. His hair is longer and his shoulders look broader. He looks...older.

"Does he look bigger to you guys? He's bigger right?" Lance turns to me. I continue staring a the screen.

"Korra,stop drooling." I snap back and turn to Lance.

"I am not drooling." I say,but wipe my chin,just in case.

"Where's Lotor?" Keith asks. Are his cheeks pink?

"He's in the quintessence field." I answer. 

"Oh,no."

We go to the hanger and wait for the pod to land. Keith jumps out,I blink back tears. We make eye contact,unable to hold back,I run and jump into his waiting arms. We hug each other tightly,not saying a word,just enjoying the others presence.

"Keith,its so good to see you again." Shiro says when we finally separate. I still hold his hand,needing the physical contact.

"Hold on. How do we know you're the real Keith and not his bigger,cooler,gizzled older brother?" Lance asks,walking over to us.

"I don't have time for this Lance." Keith says,brushing past him,puling me behind him.

"Hey,everybody,Keith's back!"

"We need to stop Lotor. He's been lying to all of us."

"Lying about what?" Shiro asked.

"Everything!" We turn to see a Galra woman,an alien looking dog and...an Altean?

"You're...you're Altean!" Coran says,shocked.

"And who's the Galran?"

"It that a wolf?" 

"Where did you come from?" Coran asks. I feel a gaze on me,I turn and make eye contact with the Galran. Her eyes drift to Keith and I's connected hands then snap back up to me. She...smiles. I hesitantly,and confusedly,smile back. Keith's voice makes me turn back.

"I promise I'll explain everything once we get to Lotor."

"We can't get to him. He just entered the quintessence field with Allura." Pidge tells him.

"We've traveled through realities before. Can't we fly in there and attack?" Keith asks.

"She said Allura is with him. We can't risk hurting her." Lance says.

"Why are we even attacking?" Hunk asks.

"Look Keith--everyone calm down. When they return,we'll get this all sorted out." Shiro says. Keith reluctantly agrees.

"Lance is right. You do look different." I say,eyeing his broad shoulders again.

"Time is different where I've been." Keith answers,I see him blush when he notices I'm staring.

"Korra,I'm Krolia." I look to see the Galran approach me. I shake her hand. "Keith has told me a lot about you. He's right,you are beautiful." Now it's my turn to blush,I try to sputter out a response. Krolia smiles at me,then turns to Shiro.

"Shiro,Keith has told me all about you,too. Thank you for raising him to be the man he is today."

"Krolia is with the Blade of Marmora. Also..she's my mother." My eyes widen.

"That's your mother?" I say harshly. "If you would have told me I was going to meet your mother,I would have prepared more!" Krolia let's out a quiet laugh.

"You don't need to worry about that. But also,let me say thank you for loving him." I look at Krolia.

"Of course,it's a real honor to meet you." I say.

"What? Okay this is nuts." Lance finally jumps up. "You come back with your Galran mom,a wolf,and an Altean?" I crouch in front of the wolf.

"Ya know,you're kinda cute." I say, his tail wags as I pet him.

"Yes,I'm still waiting to hear the story of how you found this Altean." Coran speaks up.

"And why we're attacking Lotor." Hunk asks.

"This is Romelle,and I think she should tell her own story." Keith says. The Altean girl stares at the ground as she begins speaking.

"I come from a planet where there are thousands of Alteans. We have lived there since the war with Zarkon began."

"What? That's impossible,Altea was destroyed. Allura and I where the only survivors."

"Every Altean child knows the story of how Lotor saved us from destruction. When Zarkon attacked,many were off planet on trading expeditions. When news spread about the destruction of our home, those of us who remained went into hiding for many deca-phoebs. But Lotor,with his deep knowledge of Altean culture,managed to track some of them down. To keep the Alteans secure,Lotor hid them on a remote planet beyond the quantum abyss."

"So,Lotor saved the Alteans?" Coran asked.

"Man,Lotor is even nicer than we thought."Hunk says. Romelle continues.

"And over time,the Alteans came to worship Lotor as their savior. Generations ago, in a effort to increase our odds of survival, Lotor announced that he was creating another colony far from our own. But in order to do so, he needed to assess which Alteans were viable candidates to survive the journey. One by one,every Altean on the colony was given a series of tests. Those who were deemed fit for the journey were loaded onto a cargo ship and taken to the second colony. It was considered the highest honor. Any communication between the colonies was prohibited for fear that it would compromise the other's location. 

This was the world I was born into,one of unquestioned devotion to a supposed messiah. My brother Bandor was always faithful,but I had questions. Eventually, Bandor grew old enough to be assessed for the journey to the other colony and he was selected to leave immediately. When Bandor left, I felt completely alone. I tried to use the communicator he gave me,but it never worked. Until one day,Bandor used it and told me he crash landed in the forest outside town. When I got there,he told me the colony was a lie,but it was too late.

"My brother was dead. I knew the truth,at least part of it,but I also knew no one would believe me without proof. When Keith and Krolia arrived,they were my last chance at finding it. I told them what happened to my brother,and as it turned out,so many Alteans that had been taken before him. As they explained their mission to me,we knew there must have been a connection between the missing Alteans and the pure strain of quintessence. We concluded that the colony was on the nearby moon. When we arrived,we found out Lotor had been using the Alteans to harvest their quintessence."

"That's horrifying." I said when Romelle finished. We had moved to the main room.

"All this time.."Pidge trailed off.

"I can't believe he fooled us." Lance says solemnly.

"He's a monster." Keith says. The computer bleeps , we turn to see the ship coming back.

"They're back."

"What are you waiting for? Open fire!" Romelle exclaims.

"No! Princess Allura is with him." Lance says back.

"We're going to let him back on board?" Hunk asks.

"We must! As long as the princess with him,we cannot risk any kind of attack."

"Coran and Lance are right. We can't do anything until the princess is safe. Once Allura is secure,we'll take Lotor down." Shiro says. We get into position. Once Allura and Lotor walk in, they stop when they see our hardened looks. Krolia and Keith go behind them and point their weapons at Lotor.

"What's going on?" Allura asks. Lance gets out his bayard gun.

"Allura,step away from Lotor." Allura steps in front of Lotor.

"I will do no such thing. Tell me what is happening here." Romelle speaks up,Lotor looks shocked to see her.

"Lotor is a monster and has been harvesting Altean quintessence for generations."

"An Altean!" Allura says and looks to Lotor in shock. He just frowns.

"You killed my brother and thousands of others."

"Lotor has been lying to us the whole time." Pidge speaks up.

"He's a murderer,just like his father!" I say from beside her.

"You know nothing about what you speak of." Lotor finally says.

"What are they taking about?" Allura asks him.

"Allura,listen to me. I've dedicated my life to preserving Altean culture. Now that we've unlocked the quintessence field,all of your people,who would have been hunted down long ago had it not been for my intervention,can live in peace. Were some lives lost in the possess? Yes. But they were martyrs to a noble cause. I sacrificed a few to preserve the future of millions. Allura,do not let this ruin everything we've worked for." Lotor grabs Allura's hand,but she grabs him and tosses him over her shoulder. An alarm blares as Lotor stills on the ground. We look to see a ship with Lotor's former generals entering the hanger.

"The hangers been breached!" Coran says and runs to the computer.

"It's Lotor's troops. They're stealing the ships!" Hunk tells Shiro. Before he could say anything,Shiro falls to his knees,screaming in pain. I crouch next to him.

"Allura and I will secure Lotor. Korra,help Shiro. Everyone else,get down to the hanger and stop those guys." Lance orders. Everyone runs out the room. 

"Shiro?"I say softly to him. Shiro's head snaps up and I gasp,the look on his face,that's not Shiro. He punches me hard,and I go flying into Coran. Shiro knocks everyone else down and takes Lotor and runs out. Black dots swarm my vision as I groan on the floor. 

"Korra,you alright?" Coran asks and helps me sit up. I hear Allura warn the others about Shiro.

"I'm fine." I say as I hold my now throbbing head.

"Lance,Korra,can you still pilot your lions?" Keith asks over the comms.

"I'll manage." I say.

"We've got this." Lance says as he's being supported by Allura.

"Then lets go! If we're going to fight Lotor's ships,we'll need Voltron." 

"But Shiro's gone,who's going to pilot the black lion?" I hear Pidge asks.

"I will." Keith says.

We all get to our lions and fly out to the ships. Keith goes ahead to the pod Shiro is in,while the rest of us fight the ships.

"I can't shake them!" Hunk says. I fly after him to get the ship off of him,only to get shot by the other one.

"Keith!" I call out. He flies back and we all try to hit the ships,but only we're the ones getting hit.

"Guys,we're no match for them in our lions. Form Voltron!"
