This is what Isabella is wearing for this chapter. Ignore the face but the clothes are right

Isabella's P.O.V

*Two days later*

The move to the house went fine and we are all settled in. We each have our own room in this same hallway with connected doors. It was a decent arrangement. The last details of the deal were ironed out. The Alphas were to keep our existence as their mates as secret as possible until we were ready to leave with all of them. I honestly probably was never going to want to go, so we added a half-year maximum time to get used to the idea of being Lunas. I wanted a year but my dearest mate told me that if he had to wait that long, we would kidnap us. 

But today, I will not let anyone ruin my day because as part of the deal, our families were coming to visit with some close family friends. I am so happy to see them again! Well, everyone but my dad... He never told me about the prophecy. I mean I never told him about being a white wolf, but he would have killed me! 

DING DONG!

It's the doorbell. They're here. I run downstairs and open the door. The first person is see is Leopold, my best friend. He was Leo's twin, but we are still really close. I hug him and then I see the rest of my family. I hug them too. The others saw their families yesterday and Emma did not have a family besides us. They wanted to give me some personal time with my family, so they are currently holed up in the basement until midnight. I mean I love my pack, but I do not know if it was a good idea when they told me to lock them in to make sure they don't sneak out. My wolf calls me out,

"They are probably can pick the lock." I smile, it's been a while since we talked,

"True." My mother touches my arm, bringing me back to reality. She asks me,

"How are you, honey, honestly?" I smile and answer,

"Great. I've never been better." My brother interrupts,

"How did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"You know escape!"

"I used the same way as before, out my window and into the woods." My dad seamlessly drops into the conversation,

"Why?" Everyone stares at him and I am mad because this is the first time I've seen them, and he wants to talk about why. I frown,

"You don't need or deserve to know." My mom looks shocked at my response.

"I am still your Alpha and father. Do not disrespect me!" Leopold comes in front of me and says,

"C'mon, cool down. We are going to enjoy some nice family time." We all awkwardly sit down on the couch with me next to Leopold. 

"Too close to man who is not our mate," my wolf warns me. I ignore her and pay attention to my mother's questions instead,

"What is the deal with your mate?" Leopold stiffens at the word 'mate', strange. I answer

"I've made a deal with our mates to wait a six month period before doing anything. After, who knows?" 

"I think it's wonderful that you have a mate, sweetie. I just wished you hadn't run away." I stiffen myself at her words, I expected this from Dad, not mom. 

"I am an adult women who can make her own choices."

"Your choices have all been bad recently, you should listen to your parents. Alpha Carson can help the Thunder Manes grow stronger." I am shocked at this. Then, I become mad, the same mad I was when someone tried to hurt Emma, when Alex' soldiers were abusing their powers. I know this means I will kill someone if they stay longer. 

"Get out of my house, mother and father!"

"I will not take this from my own daughter!" my mother exclaims. I turn to her and something dies in me when I see her expression,

"You have not treated me like a daughter, but a pawn who moves at your will! No longer!" I have always had issues with my parents. Like when they wanted me to mate with Leopold after Leo's death. But this time they have crossed a line I didn't know I had. 

"Get out!" My dad is the one who answers this time,

"Who are you to command me?" I hold in my anger. Remember the prophecy, they must not know that I hold power. I stand up and tower over my father. That does not mean I can stand this attitude of his much longer. 

"I am the Alpha of the White Wolves Pack and mate to Carson of the Blood Moon Pack. Who are you to question me?" My dad looks like someone just slapped him, he stutters,

"W-white w-wolves..."

"Well, dear father, I had help you see. If you had told me more instead of being attached to stupid secrets we would not be in this situation. I know now though! They have named me and the others their friends. Now leave!" He runs out of there so fast and my mother quickly follows. I collapse unto the couch. My brother, sister and Leopold crowd me. I hold up my hand to stop all their questions and say,

"I cannot tell you more, but you will always be welcomed where I am if mother and father become too much." My sister looks at me gratefully because she is scared they will force her to mate with someone else than her true mate. My brother just looks at me and Leopold looks at me with a strange emotion that I cannot identify. I announce suddenly,

"I'm hungry!" We go to the awesome kitchen, and eat. Soon enough we are joking and talking like always. At ten o'clock at night, my brother comments,

"We should go before dad gets even more mad." He starts to head out and we follow. At the door we turns back, "I'm proud of you little sister! Being an alpha, being so tricky!" I give him a hug and he leaves. My sister comes next and says,

"I'll miss you so much!"

"Me too! Come visit again soon!" I give her a kiss on the check and she heads to the cars. There is an awkward silence between Leopold and me. He says,

"Goodbye!" Leopold leans in and gives me a kiss on my check, way too close to my lips. I push him away a little and he looks at me all sad. I turn to go back into the house when I notice all the cars had gone. What the hell was Leopold up to! We were friends and I thought he knew that ever since I knew he wasn't my mate. I enter the house and immediately someone pushes me against the wall. I recognize the scent, it's Carson. I try to push him away, but I do not use enough force since I cannot use my white wolf strength. His head is in the crook of my neck and he is heavily inhaling my scent before asking,

"Who was he?" I honestly have no idea what he is talking about,

"Who?"

"The boy." Several pieces fall in place for me. It's Leopold, my mate is jealous.

"Leopold, my best friend's twin brother." A tear rolls down my check at the thought of Leo, of the boy Carson killed. I start thrashing violently to get away from this murderer. Carson notices my abrupt change of behavior and pins my hands above my head, keeping me from moving. Ig any of the girls came up right now, they would have some very different ideas of what was happening. He says,

"You did not answer my question. Who is he to you? A lover?" I am mad, he cannot control my life and my friends.

"If I said yes, what would it do to you?" His grip tightens in me,

"You're mine!" 

"The hell Carson! You're breaking the ru-" He shuts me up with a kiss and of course I respond to it. I totally blame it on the mate bond. Eventually, I break off the kiss and he lets me, but doesn't let go. He asks again,

"Who is he?"

"A casual family friend. Why?"

"He touched your back. By the way, don't wear that shirt in company again."

"Why not?" He leans in closer,

"I'm the only one allowed to see you that way." His words send a shiver of anticipation down my spine. FUCK! THE! DAMN! MATE! BOND! I lean in and kiss him. He's surprised, but answers quickly, deeping the kiss. Little did he know it was a distraction to get my legs free. When I did, I abruptly stop the kiss and run down the stairs,

"No more breaking rules, Carson!" I make it into the basement and collapse with my pack who are watching a bunch of romantic comedies and horror movies.

What a family reunion!
