Grammar:
Nothing drastically bad, just a few spots with wrong tenses and odd wording. I would suggest re-reading your work and editing it a little bit.

POV switches:
You did a very good job handling the POV switches. Not many can use them and still have the story flow smoothly, but you did. Well done!

Dialogue:
There's nothing wrong with the dialogue, per say, but it's just a little plain and ordinary. Try to make it as if someone was actually talking. We don't all speak perfectly and plainly. I do like that you italicized thoughts-- nice. It helps everything and not many people do it.

Characters:
They are definitely unique. The family dynamic of Alexis is one I haven't seen a lot of, and Carlos' is a new one too. They have their own personalities and Alexis isn't plain and boring, which is a step up from several other stories I've read that make their leading female a plain piece of bread. Yay, you!

Plot:
Carlos is certainly persistent! I think I can tell where it is going, but you never know. It's moving quickly and not staying in one place, which keeps the story from becoming boring.
