The Murder Of Two Part Two
At the Salvatore Boarding house, Stefan and Elena entered the library.
"Hey. How's Alaric?" Elena asked.
"He'll be okay. I gave him a bottle of Bonnie's herbs and he went home. Oh, did you guys kill Finn, did it work?" Caroline told them.
"Nothing worked until I see Klaus' dead body myself" Stefan says.
Elena's phone rings. She answers it. It's Bonnie.
Elena asked "Bonnie. Where have you been?"
"Klaus has Damon."Bonnie informed.
Stefan snapped his head up in attention, listening to Bonnie. Elena grew tense after hearing the news Klaus is still alive.
"Klaus should be dead. They should all be dead, we just killed Finn." Elena stated.
"No, Elena. I saw Rebekah dragged Damon at their mansion. And you do realise that my sister is a powerful siphon, she could had siphoned the spell that link them all as one. He"s still alive."Bonnie explained.
Stefan silently grits his teeth at Klaus being one step ahead of them, again. Caroline grew worried as did Elena.
"Okay, Bonnie. Where's Damon?"Elena sighed.
"At Klaus' mansion."Bonnie said.
"Are you okay?" Elena asked.
"Yes, I left before any of them noticed me. I have to... I have to go."Bonnie said before she hangs up.
Stefan was leaving for the Mikaelson's mansion after that, Elena and Caroline followed him.
"Stay with Caroline. I'll call you when it's over." Stefan says.
"Stefan, stop. Klaus is stronger than you, we need another plan. " Elena says.
"What we need is for Klaus to be dead." Stefan stated.
Elena grabbed Stefan and turned him around as she says "Stefan, stop it! You're acting on anger!"
"Anger gets things done, Elena!" Stefan yelled.
"Or it'll get you killed! It'll get Damon killed along with you."Elena stated.
"Klaus does not get to survive this. Not after everything they took from me." Stefan told her.
Stefan walked out and slammed the door. Elena flinched. Caroline entered the front hall and says "I miss well-adjusted Stefan."
Suddenly, the door flies open and Stefan is thrown through it. Sage enters the house and said "Ding dong."
Caroline goes to attack her, but Sage throws her to the ground.
"I'm not here for you. I'm here for him."Sage told her.
Elena runs to the front door, but Troy blocks her path.
"I don't think so." Troy says.
Sage approaches Stefan.
"I had to kill him, Sage."Stefan says.
"Oh, you remember me. Good. Then you know I like to go all ten rounds."Sage told him as she kicks Stefan and he flies into a chair.
She starts to cough and her nose starts to bleed. Stefan looks up at her.
"Sage?" Troy asked, worried.
Stefan gets to his feet. Sage throws a punch at Stefan, but Stefan grabs her fist and throws her to the ground. She starts coughing up blood and she said "Troy, help me!"
Troy releases Elena and rushes over to Sage. He bends over and coughs up blood as well.
"What is happening to me?" Sage choked before she and Troy died.
"She just died!"Elena said in shock.
"So, Sage and this Troy guy die within an hour of Finn." Caroline stated.
"But why? Were they bitten by a hybrid or...?"Elena asked.
"Hybrid bites don't look like that. Maybe Sage was so in love with Finn she just died of sadness." Caroline interrupted.
"No, that doesn't explain Troy."Elena told them.
"It's the blood. The bloodline. It has to be. Think about it: Finn turned Sage, Sage turned Troy. They're all part of the same vampire bloodline that originated with Finn."Stefan realized.
"Wait, so when an Original dies every vampire turned from their bloodline dies along with them? Because that would mean..."Caroline trailed.
"If the Originals die, so do all of you. The entire vampire species would...it'd just be dead."Elena finished.
At the Mikaelson Mansion, Rebekah, Klaus and Lola stayed together in another part of the room.
The voice of Stefan Salvatore yelled out from one of the rooms "Klaus! I'm here! Let's do this."
The vampire entered the mansion, eyeing Lola with a slightly angered expression.
"Honestly, Stefanie, at least buy him a drink first."Lola joked, swirling the bourbon in her hand.
"You."Stefan sneered, dropping the duffel bag.
"Me."The siphoner grinned, flipping her hair.
"You're the reason they're unlinked."He accused to which Lola rolled her eyes.
"I am. You're here for any other reason other than to state the blatantly obvious?"Lola replied.
At that moment, Klaus and Rebekah entered the room.
The voice of Stefan Salvatore yelled out from one of the rooms "Klaus! I'm here!"
"I'm here to make a deal." Stefan announced.
"Stefan, what are you doing?" Damon hissed.
"Eight stakes made of white oak. The part of Wickery Bridge that you forgot to burn. Damon in exchanged for the last eight weapons that can kill you." Stefan informed.
"That's impossible." Rebekah says, shaking her head.
"Actually it's not. Finn is dead."Stefan snapped.
"You killed my brother?" Rebekah asked, eyes widening at the information.
Lola shuffled closer towards the blonde, placing a hand on her arm softly. Her gaze flickered to the hybrid who seemed slightly distraught by the news before a mask of insignificance plastered over his face. Lola pursed her lips, a small ache forming in her chest.
"Damon in exchanged for the last eight weapons that can kill you." Stefan bargained, looking at Klaus.
"How do we know there's only eight more?"Lola asked.
"Because there aren't." Stefan replied lamely.
"He's probably lying to you. We can't trust him." Lola said, not trusting the vampire.
"Let's be certain, shall we?" Klaus asked as he walked past Stefan and over to where Damon was.
"Leave." Klaus then ordered.
"No."Damon hissed in a whisper, shaking his head.
"Go on. Leave." Klaus told him.
"Nik, he's my plaything not yours." Rebekah spoke.
Klaus grabbed Damon by the throat and compelled him "I said, go home."
Damon started to pull a wrist out from the snares, peeling the flesh off of it in the process. He screamed in pain.
Damon was still pulling himself out of the trap.
"Alright, stop, stop, stop, before you hurt yourself. Well, seeing that he can finally be compelled. Now." Klaus chuckled.
He then compelled him "Minus the stake that was burned by Lola, how many more stakes are out there that can kill the originals?"
Damon responded since he had no choice because of the compulsion "Eleven"
"Eleven! Really? So, not eight then." Klaus exclaimed as he turned toward Stefan.
"You really shouldn't have lied." Rebekah told Stefan.
"I'll get you the other three." Stefan told them.
"Yeah, that'll be nice. Or since you lied, maybe I'll just compel your brother to chew out his own tongue." Klaus smirked.
"What is wrong with you?" Stefan questioned.
"What is wrong with you?! Do you really have no appreciation for me? I have given you someone to hate, to loathe, a target for all of your anger; so you don't have to turn it on yourself. I have given your life purpose, as your friend." Klaus shouted.
Lola could tell Klaus was genuinely kind of hurt.
"I really think you should be thanking me." Klaus laughed sarcastically.
Stefan lunged at the hybrid, white oak stake in hand but doesn't make it as Lola's magic freezes him midway. His body crumples to the floor, shaking in pain.
"Step down or you both die."Klaus says and Stefan obliges, loosening his grip on the stake allowing Klaus to get a hold of it.
Klaus then added "There. Now you only have to get me the other two."
"This is ridiculous" Rebekah commented, walking over to Damon, releasing him from the bear traps.
"What are you doing?" Klaus questioned.
"I brought him here. I get to release him. My rules now. Bring us the stakes and you both live. Take your brother as a sign of good faith." Rebekah says as she grabbed the duffel bag with the white oak stakes in it, walking out of the room.
Klaus lifted up his arms, saying "Bring us the stakes. All of them. Or I will wage a war against everyone you love. I hope I'm being clear."
Klaus led Lola out of the room.
Later, Lola was now in the parlor with Klaus and Rebekah.
"I can't believe Finn is dead."Rebekah admitted as she was looking at the fireplace.
Klaus was standing over the table.
"Good riddance. He was an embarrassment, Rebekah." Klaus spoke.
"He was still your brother. Mind your tongue."Rebekah scolded.
"Fine. Let's all say a prayer for Finn, who slept in a box longer than he lived as a man. He was a lovesick fool. He's better off in death." Klaus said.
Rebekah then walked over to the table to him face to face as she asked "Is that how you would speak of me if I died?"
"Well, you let the Salvatores loose with two stakes that can kill us, so I guess we'll find out soon enough. And since when did you have a soft spot for them?" Klaus replied.
"The Salvatores may fight like dogs, but in the end they would die for each other. At least they know what family means. You destroyed ours." Rebekah says, shaking her head.
"I wanted a family. They just didn't want me, and now we're unlinked we're no longer responsible for each other." Klaus spoke.
"So are you leaving?"Rebekah asked.
"As soon as I get my stakes, I'm gone. I'm gonna take Elena and Lola. Elena to use her blood to create a new family. Of hybrids. And Lola because she's my mate."Klaus smirked.
"And if I choose to stay?" Rebekah wondered.
" Then you're just as pathetic as Finn." Klaus said before storming out of the room.
Lola sighed.
"He didn't mean that Rebekah, I'll talk to him." Lola told her. Rebekah didn't say anything, she only walk out of the room.
Lola sighed as she went to look for Klaus.
She checked his art room, and he wasn't there. She then walked to his room and knocked on the door. She then opened it to reveal Klaus, standing by the fireplace in his room with alcohol in his hand.
He turned to look at Lola, drinking the rest of the alcohol in his cup.
"What is it?" Klaus asked.
She walked over, grabbing both of his hands and sitting him down on his bed with her.
"It's okay to care, you know. I know you lost your brother today and you're grieving him. I know that you may want to make it seem you don't care about him, Klaus. But he was your brother. It's okay to care about him, it's okay to grieve him. Even if and I quote 'you're less favorite sibling'." Lola spoke softly.
His lips parted as tears came to his eyes. This was one of the rare time she ever saw emotion in him. Lola put her hand on his cheek in comfort.
"Why don't you just leave me?" Klaus plundered, blinking back his tears. Lola took a deep breath in, getting ready to say something she never thought she would say.
"Because when I have feelings for someone, I don't want to." Lola replied.
They both grew closer, their breaths getting shaky, their foreheads touching as their lips were inches apart. Lola looked into his eyes one last time before closing her eyes and closing the distance between their lips.
The feeling in her chest sparked as she felt his lips on hers, a blush coming to her face. He licked her bottom lip for entrance into her mouth, which she gave him. He then grabbed her by the hips placing her on the top of him, in a straddling position.
When Lola pulled away to catch her breath, Klaus started kissing her neck, causing the Parker girl to gasp with pleasure. She gripped the back of his hair with her hands, causing him to growl slightly. When she looked down, she noticed love marks.
Klaus smirked at them, causing Lola to turn a very deep shade of red. He then brought his lips back up to hers, roughly. Just as he started taking her jacket off, her phone started ringing.
Klaus scoffed, annoyed while the gold eyed girl just chuckled. Lola grabbed her phone from the side of his bed, looking at the text she got. It was from Derek, asking if she could buy Milk since there were none left. Lola sighed, before giving Klaus one last kiss and getting off his lap.
"Now, I do better hope this mean that I'm your girlfriend now." Lola smirked.
"Of course, love."Klaus chuckled.
Lola smiled happily, giving him one last peck on the lips before leaving Klaus room before leaving the Mikaelson's mansion.
For the first time in his life, Klaus Mikaelson had a girlfriend. And he was happy that it was with his soulmate. The woman he was fated to be for the rest of his life.
