Hayley

Two days later, Klaus and Lola made their way into the foyer of the Lockwood residence, their arms hung around the Parker girl's shoulder as they strolled into the room.

Lola was wearing a top with a leather jacket, a pant and some boots.

"Tyler, it's okay. They're here for your protection." Carol assured him calmly.

" More deputies?" Tyler sighed.

"Not exactly." Klaus announced as he and Lola came to a stop in front of the hybrid, the siphon girl teasingly wiggling her fingers in greeting.

"They're hybrids." Tyler frowned.

"You really sound like you hate hybrids. And it's weird coming from a guy who is a hybrid himself."Lola mocked the Lockwood boy.

" I was halfway to Chicago when I heard you were attacked. I had hoped to leave Mystic Falls for good, but duty calls." Klaus told the younger boy, an annoyed look painted on his face.

"Nice to know you care." Tyler said, sarcasm laced in his voice.

" I don't. I should have killed you for the little stunt you and your friends pulled. Stopping my heart, leaving me in a coffin to rot." Klaus told him as he grabbed Lola and had his arm wrapped firmly around Lola's waist. Lola smiled and hugged him lovingly.

"Yeah, well you used my body as an escape hatch, then kissed my girlfriend. So, maybe we're even." Tyler snapped.

"Not even close. But, you hybrids are a dying breed. I can't make more of you, and I won't have anyone taking liberties with the ones I have left. Consider them your new bodyguards." Klaus sneered before leaving the room with Lola.

At school, Rebekah walked into the history classroom.

"Morning, everyone.Just like that, I'm no longer feeling sentimental." Rebekah chirped.

Elena slumped back in her seat.

"So, I'm throwing a little anti-curfew party at my new house. Starts at fifth period and goes 'til whenever. Spread the word." Rebekah informed everyone, handing out flyers to people.

She then turned her attention toward Stefan, and Elena, waltzing over to them.

"You're welcome to join, Elena, if you'd like to bury the hatchet." She smirked.

Rebekah placed fliers on each of their desks.

"It's a pretty enormous hatchet." Elena replied, annoyed.

"Well, I'm feeling generous of spirit." Rebekah stated.

"New house, huh? Did your brothers finally kick you out?"Elena asked, sarcasm dropping though her voice.

"They didn't kick me out, I left." Rebekah says.

"So you left the only two people on Earth that actually likes you?" Elena questioned, a smirk on her face.

"Well, your boyfriend liked me once." Rebekah shot back.

"Why are you still in town, Rebekah? Don't you have anywhere else to go?" Stefan pipped up, annoyed.

"Well, history's my favorite class. And it has a few of my favorite people in it. Actually where is Mr. Saltzman? Oh, that's right, I killed him." Rebekah taunted.

Elena loses her temper and throws her pencil at Rebekah's face. Rebekah grabs it and throws it back at Elena, which impales her in the shoulder. They glare at each other. Elena removes the pencil from her chest and gets up before anyone else in class notices what just happened. Stefan and Elena walk out into the hallway.

At the Lockwood Mansion, Hayley walked in.

Tyler Lockwood was on his couch, passing a football ball and forth between his hands, before The werewolf walked into the room, looking around before focusing his attention on Tyler.

"So, this is where you've been hiding, huh?" Hayley spoke.

Tyler, startled, snapped his head around and found Hayley. His eyes widened.

"Hayley?" Tyler asked in disbelief.

"Hey, Lockwolf!" Hayley smirked, before walking over and engulfing Tyler in the biggest hug. Tyler immediately hugged the werewolf back, stunned that she was even here.

When they pulled away, Hayley smiled before hitting him on the chest, pushing him back a little bit.

"Ass! I thought Klaus killed you."She scolded.

"I should have called." Tyler says.

"From your trailer park in Florida? You liar!"Hayley laughed.

Hayley then looked around, amazed at the mansion he called home.

"You're totally loaded!"She exclaimed.

"Eh..." Tyler tried to downplay.

"I chained you up all over the Appalachians. I talked you through every turn. I helped you break the sire bond. You could have told me your real story."Hayley told him.

"I didn't want anybody to follow me back." Tyler told her.

Hayley frowned in confusion.

"Werewolves weren't safe around Klaus, and you shouldn't be here, either. His hybrids are all over this house, and so is he." Tyler informed.

"I. One of his hybrids is with a pack we ran with. He called me and told me that he was coming to protect a guy named Tyler, and I thought, tsk, what are the chances?"Hayley says, shaking her head and smiled.

"Well, the least you could do is pour us some fancy, rich people scotch." She then added, smirking.

"Sure! Absolutely." Tyler laughed.

Hayley sloped down on the couch, looking around.

Some time later, Lola walked into the study at the Lockwood Mansion as he picked up a picture of Tyler and Carol smiling.

Lola walked towards the wolf girl.

"Hayley?" Lola gasped in shock.

Yes Hayley and Lola knew each other since Lola had met Hayley thanks to Derek who had introduced the two and the two were very good friends.

"Lo."Hayley smiled.

"It's so nice to see you. Last time I saw you, you had short hair and wearing glasses. I got to say you got hot."Lola grinned as they hugged.

"I'm the only one. You got hot too."Hayley said.

Lola's phone then started buzzing, and when she picked it up, it was Klaus obviously wondering where she was.

"Hey, I gotta run, boyfriend calls. It was nice seeing you again though, Hayley."Lola smiled.

Hayley gave her a smile back before Lola ran inside to her loving boyfriend, happy to be back in his arms. She hate being away from him.

Lola was sitting on a window bench doing home homework when Tyler walked in. She poked her head up as Klaus noticed his presence.

"She's quite fetching, that Hayley."Klaus smirked, knowing exactly what to do to push Tyler.

"Where is she?" Tyler asked.

"She went to see your brother, Derek. You know, the better Lockwood?"Lola told him.

"Whatever you think you know..." Tyler started.

"I don't know anything, but I've put together a pretty convincing picture. Why don't you tell me where my imagination deviates from reality?"Klaus smiled smugly at the Lockwood, as he made his way over to Tyler, circling him intimidatingly.

"You went off to the Appalachians to break your sire-bond. There, you met a pack of werewolves, begged them for help. Among them was a girl. She was gorgeous, with the same animal instincts as you. Emotions ran high, inhibitions ran low..."Klaus began.

"Stop it!"Tyler demanded.

"Then, in a moment of weakness, the thick sexual tension became something much more real."Klaus taunted Tyler, ignoring his wishes.

"I said stop!" Tyler shouted, a scowl present on his face.

"And Caroline has no idea."Lola says.

Before Tyler had a chance to respond, his ringtone cut though the conversation. Klaus picked up Tyler's phone with a smirk as he read Damon's name and answered it.

"Hello, Damon." Klaus greeted with a smirk.

" Klaus? Where's Tyler?" Damon asked in confusion through the phone.

"Tyler's otherwise occupied, making big decisions about honesty and whatnot. Is there anything I can do?" Klaus told him as he plopped his feet up on the desk, smirking at Tyler.

" I'm going after the vampire hunter, so if he'd like to join...?" Damon trailed off.

"He wouldn't. I, however..." Klaus smirked as he met Lola's eye.
