Do Not Get Gentle Part One

The next day, Lola sat in Klaus art room, watching him paint, smiling. Although she was probably supposed to be looking at the painting. She didn't take her eyes off him.

Lola was wearing a floral top with a jacket, a jean and some boots.

"The staring is getting creepy, love." Klaus chuckled.

"I'm not staring, I'm gazing. Besides, it's romantic." Lola told him.

Klaus set his brush down, smiling.

He walked over to her, sitting down next to Lola on the couch, before pulling her onto his lap so that she was straddling him. She giggled, before connecting his lips to his. When she pulled away for a moment, he went right down her neck, sucking on her neck, causing Lola to moan, as she felt the smirk against her neck. He then moved to her face, trailing kisses along Lola's jaw, before meeting her lips again.

Klaus started tugging down on Lola's jacket, but before anything else could happen, Lola heard someone clear their throats uncomfortably. She snapped her head over to reveal Rebekah walked in. Her eyes widened.

Lola's face probably looked as red as a tomato in this moment, as Klaus smirked before looking down at the mark he made on Lola, satisfied. Lola looked down at it too, and then it healed itself. Klaus groaned.

"If you two are done..." Rebekah trailed.

Lola jumped off of Klaus lap, sitting down on the couch. Klaus only chuckled, glaring at Rebekah for interrupting them, before pecking Kiara's lips and getting up, returning to his painting.

"What took you so long?" Klaus questioned Rebekah, not looking away from his painting.

"Alaric didn't want to hand over the stake. Luckily I'm quite the charmer." Rebekah smirked, holding up the stake.

"That's it? " Klaus questioned, turning around to face Rebekah and Lola.

"The last of the white oak stakes that can kill us. Do you want to do the honors or shall I?" Rebekah asked, holding the stake out to him.

Klaus grinned, putting down his paintbrush, before grabbing the stake and tossing it into the nearby fireplace, watching it burn for a moment. He then turned back to his painting.

"Well that's that then. Pack your bags, we're leaving." Klaus informed.

"Today? " Rebekah wondered.

"Why not? There's nothing keeping us here. We'll grab the doppelgänger and be off by sunset." Klaus said as he continued to paint.

"But tonight is the decade dance." Rebekah stated.

"So?" Klaus questioned.

"So, I'm head of the committee, we have to go." Rebekah explained.

Klaus turned away from his painting, annoyed.

"I'm not going to any dance." Klaus protested.

Rebekah says, smirking "Lola will be there."

"I'm not going."Lola spoke.

"Well, too bad. You're going."Rebekah told her.

Lola groaned internally.

"If Lola's not going, nether am I." Klaus said.

"Please, I have big plans for tonight. Just go for me." Rebekah pleaded.

"Fine."Lola sighed.

Rebekah looked at her triumphantly, before turning back to Klaus.

"Okay, fine. One last hoorah." Klaus agreed.

"One last hoorah, Nik." Rebekah smiled.

Later, Lola walked back into Klaus room to take a shower. She walked in and saw a gorgeous dress laid out on his bed. It looked like it had been plucked from the 1920's, but with a modern twist.

Lola walked up to it and almost jumped when a voice spoke up behind her.

"Do you like it? You told me that red was your favorite color. And I saw this dress and I thought it would fit." Klaus wondered.

Lola turned and looked at him before looking back at the dress with a chuckle.

"I love it, Nik." Lola told him. Klaus walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, looking down at the dress.

"Since we promised to go to the party, I was hoping you would come with me." Klaus told her.

"Of course I will, Nik. And it would be like a date, right?" Lola asked.

"If you wish to see it that way, then yes." Klaus replied and Lola smiled.

"Okay. You know it's like the third date we've gone on, right? If you count the time, you possessed Alaric and your family's ball. Also the Salvatores shit might be there too because I'll bet on my life that the doppelbitch's there."Lola said with a smile, and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Klaus chuckled.

"Well, I'll make sure to behave myself then. Not to mention if I ruin the dance, Rebekah will want my head on a silver platter." Klaus told her.

"Probably. Anyway, when is the dance?" Lola laughed slightly.

"In a few hours." Klaus replied, and Lola pulled herself away from him.

"Well, I better get ready then." Lola said and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

On the way to the dance, Klaus and Kiara talked, Klaus told her about the 1920's and Lola told her about her life and the few parties she went. Klaus had gotten, a car to take them to the dance, but Lola wasn't one for fancy cars or dates. The only thing she had ever wanted in a partner, was to enjoy and get to know them.

The car pulled up to the dance and Klaus stepped out of the car, holding a hand out to her. Rhea grabbed it as she got out. Klaus closed the door behind them and linked their arms together, his arm over hers before they made their way inside. On the outside of the high school, there was a red carpet leading up to the double doors. Lola looked around and could tell what parts of the school got rebuilt since it seemed brand new. Klaus and Lola walked into the gym, and there was a slow jazz song playing.

"Care to dance?" The Original hybrid asked and Lola smiled.

"I'd love too."Lola beamed with happened and he brought her to the middle of the dance. Klaus spun her around before bringing her closer to his chest as they danced together.

"You would've loved the 1920s, Lola. The girls were reckless, sexy, fun. They literally used to dance until they dropped." Klaus told her, smiling at Lola.

"I guess I would had fit then if I was born in that century." Lola says.

"You would." Klaus agreed as they then both leaned in, connecting their lips, savouring the kiss, before pulling away.

"After you graduate from your college, would you consider travelling the world with me?"Klaus asked her.

"You wanna travel around the world with me?"Lola smiled.

Klaus nodded.

"Sounds fun."Lola grinned.

"Is that a yes?"Klaus smiled.

"Yeah."Lola said, nodding.

Klaus then smirked, leading her out of the dance, causing her to laugh.

As they tried to leave the school, Klaus stopped all of a sudden, making Lola look back confused. Lola then noticed a trail of salt around the school. Lola's eyes widened as she realized it was a barrier spell.

"Lola, love. Come here." Klaus says, motioned for her to come back. Lola did, seeing. He held out his arm.

"Can you break it?" He asked.

Lola shrugged before grabbing his arm to siphon him before chanting a spell in latin, trying to break it, but something was fighting against me. Lola sighed, holding her hand out, but this time it was stopped.

"Why can't you break it?" Klaus asked.

"She must be bind me to the spell, so if I try to siphon it, I can't leave. If I leave, I won't have any access to magic, thus rendering me useless."Lola sighed, pulling her hand away from Klaus.

When Lola reached her hand out again, nothing stopped it, proving her theory.

Stefan walked up behind them, saying "Your mother is back. And she has Elena."

Lola rolled her eyes at the vampire's words, saying "It is always about her."
