All My Children Part Two

Lola shrugged Elijah's arm off her shoulders as he tried to help her around the woods to the old witches' house as she said "I'm fine."

"You were bleeding, Lola."Elijah told her sternly.

"And you gave me your blood. I'll be fine. Klaus, tell Elijah to stop worrying because we kind of need to kill your mother."Lola said.

Klaus let out a chuckle and Kol smirked as Elijah frowned at the siphoner. They all turned serious at the sight of Esther, Finn and the Bennett witches. Lola's expression became cold with anger as Esther made her mother and sister run inside the house. She knew she wouldn't be able to step a foot inside the house without the witches trying to kill her.

Esther said from inside the pentagram with Finn "My sons, come forward."

"What am I? Chopped liver?"Lola grumbled.

"Stay beside me, mother."Finn said as he placed his arm in front of Esther, protectively.

"It's okay. They can't enter." Esther assured.

Kol stepped toward the edges of the pentagram. Flames grew double their original size and he was stopped from entering.

"That's lovely. We're stuck out here, while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are, Finn." Kol sneered.

"Be quiet, Kol. Your brother knows virtue you cannot even imagine." Esther defended her oldest son.

"Whatever you think of us, killing your own children will be an atrocity." Elijah spoke.

"My only regret is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago." Esther retorted.

"Enough. All this talk is boring me. End this now, Mother, or I'll send you back to Hell."Klaus threatened.

"For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you. Felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. Even you, Elijah, with your claim to nobility, you're no better. All of you. You're a curse on this Earth. Stretched out over generations. If you've come to plead for your life, I'm sorry, you've wasted your time." The Original witch responded.

"See, that's the thing, Esther. I get why you want to kill your children and such, but why am I linked? And if you really want to put the blame on someone, you should take your own consequences. So what? You spent a thousand years asleep-slash dead, but you didn't actually suffer for turning your children into so-called monsters."Lola began as she narrowed her eyes on the witch and as she stepped forward. She didn't show any emotion but anger as the flames grew of her being near the pentagram.

She placed her hand on the invisible border on the pentagram. Her hand began to glow red causing Esther's eyes to widen as Lola added "You're the one who should die. You thought you were saving them, but the only thing you did was turn them into what they are now!"

The fire on the torches began to grow weaker as Lola continued to siphon. The brothers looked at the siphoner in surprise as Lola defended them. They weren't used to someone defending them or protecting them besides Valerie. They usually were blamed for everything. It's how they grew up, being blame for everything.

"I shouldn't be surprise as another abomination, you are defending them."Esther scowled but glanced around the pentagram in worry.

"You're just jealous that no one ever defended you. And that your children have people who love them."Lola said, rolling her eyes.

Lola smirked once the pentagram began to vanish. The Salvatore brothers managed to break the channeling meaning one of the Bennett witches is dead. She looked at the older witch with brown eyes that gleamed with satisfaction and was immediately pulled back by Klaus when the flames grew brighter.

"No! Sisters! Do not abandon me!"Was the last thing they heard as the fire died down, revealing Finn and Esther had disappeared.

Afterwards, Klaus and Lola were at the Mikaelson mansion. Lola wanted to see if siphoning would work to unlink them all.

Klaus raised a brow as the siphon extended her hands, cupping his cheeks, a red glow emitting from them as her eyes flutter shut. Klaus let out a gasp, magic draining from his body, a small part of him screaming to pull away from the grasp but she merely held onto him higher, and he didn't resist. Lola swallowed, digging her fingers in deeper, her nails drawing a small stream of blood then suppressed screams from the searing pains shooting through her as she cut the tether linking the Original siblings and herself. Eventually, she released him, magic flushing through her body before her arms reached out to steady Klaus' weak body, staggering breaths leaving his lips.

"Sorry, should've mentioned it would take a lot out of you."Lola said as she pulled him in the living room, leading to the couch before swiftly walking into the kitchen to the freezer where they stored blood bags. She gave one to the hybrid who devoured it in seconds, his eyes flashing gold and veins running beneath his eyes.

Lola squashed every single inappropriate thought she had in that moment, her heart beating what felt like a million-miles-an-hour.

Klaus ran a hand over his face, his tone soft as he spoke "What did you do?"

"Siphoned your mother's spell.  Congratulations, you're no longer linked to your siblings and I, I think."Lola stated proudly.

Lola sliced her hand and Klaus saw this his hand was not. Klaus smiled and then texted his siblings to tell them Lola had unlinked them with her siphoning abilities. They texted back and their gratitude in their message to her for the help.

Rebekah then walked in and Klaus told his sister "I thought you'd have gone by now. Elijah's leaving. Kol's fled. Esther and Finn are gone too."

Rebekah said stepping forward " I hated you when I learned you killed our mother. But I realize now that after a thousand years together as a family, you're the only one who never left me. And you too, Lola, you're my friend.

"Well, aren't we a trio."Klaus commented.

Rebekah pulled out her phone, piquing the siphon's interest as the Original holds her phone out for the brunette to take. Klaus walked up to the siphon, his breath hitting to the back of her neck as his fingers grazed down her arms while Rebekah spoke up "There's something I need you to see."

Klaus asked amused but Lola could see the trouble look held in Rebekah's blue eyes "Come to brag about your skills as a torturer?"

Rebekah rolled her eyes, then pointed at the phone urgently as she says "Look at the images on the wall behind Elena. The Natives told the story of our family history, look at the images on the far wall."

Klaus furrowed his brows, staring at the images boredly as he asked "What is it?"

Rebekah told the two, impatiently "A Native worshipping at the Great White Oak tree."

Klaus shrugged "And? We burned that tree to the ground."

Rebekah said as she pointed at the markings behind Elena on the screen "Look at the markings that precede it."

"It's the native calendar."Lola added.

Klaus' lips pursed, pulling Kiara closer to see the phone properly, his hands wrapped around her's as he zoomed further into the screen.

Klaus murmured to himself "This can't be right."

"A White Oak tree, three hundred years after we fled back to the Old World. There must have been a sapling, a new tree to replace the old. That tree could kill us. It's not over."Rebekah said as her eyes darted between her father and friend.

Kiara huffed "When is it ever?"
