He never thought much about love, especially with his career on the line. He had no time for that.
That is, until he met Liza.

She sure had thought about love. Love, she hoped, would be the greatest achievement of her life.

The two had met coincidentally at the coffee shop Elizabeth worked at, and ended the fateful day by eating dinner together.
Long story short, the pair fell in love. Everything seemed beautiful for both of them. They were so very-simply-happy, but it was something amazing because they'd never felt the feeling of joy to the extent that they did when they were together.
