*Warning, the story will be taking a dark turn from here on.*
*Yugi's POV*
"Last stop is Domino City, please might the gap when leaving the train," the conducter said and I have never been so happy to hear that. Domino City.

I made sure I was first at the door and my hood over my face, I couldn't have anyone seeing me right now. I needed to get back to the house.

As soon as the door opened I jumped out with my case and ran down the station flipping my phone from my pocket to call a taxi. By the time I got outside the taxi was already there so I threw the case in the trunk and hopped into the back seat. "Back from a holiday?" the driver said.

"M-More or less. Sorry but could you go as fast as you can to this location," I said and typed in the address on my phone.

"Hm. That's The Dragons house isn't in? You have some business there?" he asked and I was just getting more angry.

"They are my family and need me. Please can we just hurry?" I asked and he shrugged starting to drive.

I brought up my contacts and started to type a message to Heba.

Bigbro- Is anyone in the house?

It took a few minutes for it to ping again.

Littlehuman- Yeah, me and Atem. Why?

Bigbro- Unlock the door will ya?

I put my phone away ignoring anything else that came through. When the car got to the corner of the house I saw the gates of the house and felt warm, I was home.

I paid the guy and after grabbing my case snd bag I ran into the garden and when at the door I didn't ring the bell, I banged the door.

Someone began to unlock it and when the door opened I saw my little brother. "Y-Yugi? Y-You came back?" he asked with bloodshot eyes. Dosen't look like he has been crying, so I guess it's lack of sleep. He dove into me making me drop my case and the bag off my shoulders. "Yugi!!! I-I missed you!!"

"Me too brother. And I'm sorry for not saying anything before I took off," I said and hugged him back. He looked around before pulling me and my case in, locking the door behind us. "Where is everyone."

"Marik and Bakura are out, said they needed fresh air. Atem is in the living room on the phone to someone and Kaiba is in his room," he said leaving out the most important person to me. I looked at him, trying to edge it out of him. "I-I know what you want me to say, but I just can't."

"Heba look at me. I need to know what has happened to Yami. Please," I said raising his chin. He started to cry.

"H-He is still in the hospital. He's in bad shape ...we got told he is...bipolar..." he mumbled and my whole body froze. "H-He just broke after you left. Saying it was his fault for not being better for you. Saying it is because you learned of his past and-and the whole problem with Rose. Yugi we-we tried to help him. Honest to Ra we did, but every time we left him along he would-"

"Ok sshh. No more," I said and stroked his hair. He was bawling on my shoulder and I was struggling myself to fight my tears. "Heba, I need you to show me him. Take me to the hospital."

A hospital. Just the thought of it makes me sick. My mother....she died in the hospital. A year ago soon.
I almost died in the hospital after getting shot. And now, I might lose Yami.

Heba agreed to come with me and brought me into the living room, Atem's back facing us as he was slouched on the counter and on the phone. "I know already! Look don't you think I am trying to sort it out! These things take a long time to actually go through!!" he yelled and Heba flinched.

I sent him to get his jacket and he went to his room, I walked up to Atem and waited. "Fine just stop bugging us. The date is set so shut up. I'm done," he growled and hung up the phone, sighing and running his hand through his hair.

"I hope that's the date that we bring Dartz down," I said and he turned the fastest I have ever seen anyone move. "Atem. I need you to tell me everything that has went down."

"....why should I?" he asked and moved to me. I caught Heba at the corner of my eyes but then a grip on my collar. The room went by me fast ad I was thrown into the living room, the couch stopping me as I slammed against it. "You think you can just come back and everything will magically be better!?! Life doesn't work like that!! Why did you come back!!"

Heba ran to my side crouching down. This isn't Atem. And I know because I can see the empty alcohol bottles on the counter. I tried standing up, Heba giving me extra support and I got to my feet. "I know. I can't fix everything but I want to try. I want to help everyone the best I can."

"You wanna help? Go back to when you wanted to leave and never do. Do you know how painful it has been to watch Yami spiral down, to watch him become a shell to what he was before?" he asked and I couldn't say anything, but I knew what to do. I started to walk to him. "You will only make things worse. Go away again before you end up hurting you brothe-"

I slapped him. With enough force to put him on the ground. "You think drinking will solve anything!?! Look at yourself, look at Heba you're scaring him!!" I yelled and pointed back. Atem looked up, then back to the ground. "I may have left but at least I have come back and want to help. Not turning into a alcoholic."

I grabbed a hold of Heba's hand and headed to the door but thought for a minute. "Atem, we're going to see Yami. But before I do I wanna say something," I said and turned around. "Don't disband The Dragons. We'll get Dartz back for what he has done. I promise you."

With those words we left Atem on the ground and my mind racing. Heba got us a car. And it scares me, the fear is sinking in to what I am about to see.

15 minutes later and we got to the hospital, Heba didn't have to say anything to the people at the desk, we just went straight to the elevator and up to the third floor. He took me through a series of corridors and I was started to feel sick. Until we stopped in front of a door. "They only allow one person in at a time. So you go first," he said and patted my back.

I took a breathe and put my hand on the handle, pulling it down and going in.

Hope this long chapter makes up for the letter chapters. Wrote this while I was up all night cause appertanly I don't need sleep 😂😂

Yugi will see Yami the next chapter, but what will he see. Can he help fix everything like he says?
