That Night, Lucy's Pov, 

I woke up gasping for air. I was shaking as I grabbed my head with my left hand. "I-It was just a dream" I whispered but then hugged myself tears going down my cheeks. I looked over to my phone grabbing it. It was 3:20am. I wanted to text Natsu but I didn't want to wake him. Then again knowing him he would sleep through it.

Hey, are you up? 

I rubbed my eyes a little still tired as my phone vibrated. He was up?

From Natsu<3~ 
I am now.

I felt bad. I woke him up.

To Natsu<3~ 
I had a bad dream, could you come over? 

I waited for a reply. There wasn't one. It was now 3:26am.

To Natsu<3~ 
Nastu?
Did you go back to sleep? 

I sighed as a minuet passed. I was about to put my phone down as it vibrated. I hurried and looked down at it.

Lucy I'm at your door let me in. 

I smiled to myself as I got out of bed. I was wearing a pink dressing gown that went to me knees. It was pretty cold now though. I walked to the door answering it see Natsu in his Black Pj's looking at me worried. "You ok?" he asked putting his hand on my cheek. He felt the tears as he then let himself in and then pulled me into a hug, closing the door with his foot. I hugged back crying a little. "Your ok now" he whispered put his hand on the back of my head, putting his fingers into my hair. He always made me smile. I slowly nodded putting on a fake smile. 

Natsu pulled away and smiled at me. "I want a real smile Lucee" Natsu gave me a peck on the lips. I then smiled seeing Nastu smile more. He played with my hair a little. "Come on, lets get you back to bed, there you can tell me about the dream" Natsu grabbed my hand as we went up the stairs. We walked into my room and we laid down, I was cuddled up to Natsu who had his arm around me. "Gray is going to freak tomorrow" I whispered as Natsu kissed my forehead. "You needed me, so screw him" Natsu whispered as I smiled at him.

"Now, tell me about the dream" Natsu played with my hair putting his chin on my head. I smiled more thinking how lucky I was to have him. I took a deep breath and then started to explain the dream.

Lucy's Dream: 

I was walking down the street humming one of my songs I just learned. As I went down a ally way to meet with Michelle and Gray I was grabbed from behind. A hand covering my mouth as I tried to scream. "Hey there pretty girl" I knew that voice. It was Jason's my older mangers voice. The one who tried too. I bit his hand making him move it and hiss in pain as I started to scream for help. Tears going down my cheeks, remembering him. "Not so fast Lu" he snapped pinning me on the wall, putting a knife to my neck. 

"GRAY, MICHELLE" I screamed hoping they would hear as Jason just laughed. "They won't save you this time Lu" he snapped using the knife to cut off my top. I tried pushing him away, I tried to get away as I failed. He pushed me inside a building pushing me on a bed before grabbing some rope. "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME" I screamed as my voice cracked as he started laughing like a mad man....

Dream Over, Natsu's Pov, 

I was shocked hearing. She had a nightmare the guy who hurt her came back. Lucy was crying a little as I hugged her tightly. "You need to remember something Lucy, you have me now" I whispered as she looked at me, wiping some tears as she smiled. "I will always be there to protect you Lucy" I then whispered kissing her forehead. "I-Im sorry for waking you" she then whispered as I put one hand on her cheek as the other one kept her close to me. I would do anything for Lucy. "Don't be, I will always be here for you Lucee" I whispered.

Lucy smiled at me as my hand moved from her cheek to her hair. I couldn't help but play with her soft blonde hair. "I love you Nastu" Lucy whispered falling asleep as I smiled. "I love you too Lucee" I whispered back as she fell asleep on me. Hugging me. I didn't want to move or for this moment to stop. I wanted time to stand still as I also fell asleep, keeping her close to me. Keeping her safe. 

Next Day, Natsu's Pov, 

I woke to see Michelle smiling at me. I then remembered last night to see Lucy was hiding her face in my top. "KAWAII" Michelle screamed as there was banging at the door. "LET ME AT FLAME BRAIN" Gray shouted from the other side. He sounded really piss. I smirked as my cheeks then burned up. "GRAY CALM DOWN OR I WILL KICK YOUR ASS" Michelle screamed as she walked over to the door opening it. Lucy as I sat up, both our faces bright red. "Lucy you need to remember you can wake me and Gray when you have that nightmare" Michelle then gave a fake smile.

Lucy looked at the ground as I hugged her from behind. Lucy smiled at me. "Thank you for coming to our sisters aid" Michelle smiled as I only nodded. Gray muttered something getting punched in the gut by Michelle who then left the room, dragging Gray with her. "That went better than I thought it would" I laughed looking at Lucy who was smiling at me. "Thank you Natsu" Lucy made me smile back as I put my hand on her cheek. "I will always be there for you Lucee" I made her blush as I gave her a peck on the lips. "Now I gotta explain to Zeref where I was, see you at school Lucy" I got up off the bed.

Lucy giggled a little as we waved goodbye before I left the room and headed down the stairs. I will do anything to keep Lucy safe and happy.
