Later That Day, Natsu's Pov, 

I was in detention and like normal Jellal got out some how. I muttered some curse words under my breath sitting at the back next to the open window bored listening to Mr Macao's speech. Then something else caught my attention. Someone was humming a song. I listened to the female voice as I remembered my mother. It sound just the same. It had to be the same song but only 2 people knew it. My mother and her friend. I needed to know who was humming it. I saw Mr Macao was asleep in his chair as I smirked. I climbed out the window and headed for the music room next door.

I saw the window opened as I looked inside to see the 2 girls Gray was talking to. The blue hair girl was smiling listening as the blonde was humming the song. "Where did you learn that?" the blue hair girl asked. "My mother used to sing it to me all the time, she said it was her and her friends song" the blonde one answered as my eyes widen. I then jumped into the room making both girls jump. "SHHHH" I put my finger on my lips and rolled my eyes. The blue hair girl moved fast and went behind the blondie one who looked at me confused.

"Do you know the lyric's to that song?" I asked as she looked at me shocked and slowly nodded. "Well what you was humming sounded like a song my mother used to sing, I just need to know if its the same" I rubbed the back of my neck as the blondie girl looked at the ground. "I-I don't sing anymore" she whispered making me shocked and confused. Anymore? I smirked and moved to the door of the music room locking it. "Your not leaving until you sing" I crossed my arms smirking as both girls looked at me shocked. 

The blue haired one shaking a little. "The bullies are so going to kill us tomorrow" she whispered upset. They was bullied? "I could scare them bullies away, just sing the damn song" I was getting bored and upset. "Why do you want me to sing it so bad?" blondie asked a little scared. "Because my mother died 5 years ago and I can't remember the full song" I snapped making her shocked. I froze a little as she looked at the ground and then sighed. "Lu?" the blue haired girl whispered. That's her name? 'Lu'? "Fine I will sing it" blondie mumbled making the other girl look shocked.

I stood there shocked a tear go down my cheek as she finished. I saw a tear go down her cheek also. "I-It is my mothers song" I whispered my back falling onto the wall. "Y-Your mothers?" blondie asked shocked wiping her tear as I looked at her. "Her and her friend's song" I answered as blue haired girl was staring at blondie shocked. "LUCY YOU SANG" she smiled hugging blond-I mean Lucy as she smiled hugging back. "Y-Yeah" she whispered shaking a little hugging her friend back. I then jumped up smirking walking over to her.

"Your going to be my bands new singer" I made her shocked as blue hair jumped up and down. "Do it" she giggled. "Levy, I haven't sung in years, even I know that was out of key" Lucy was shaking as I grabbed her hand. "No one has ever knew that song and it wasn't out of key" I smiled at her. I saw her cheeks go a little pink as a phone started to go off. I saw a small smile form on Lucy. "C-can I think about it?" she asked as I started thinking. "How about you just join before I make you" I smirked as Levy giggled a little as I saw I was still holding her hand.

I let go and rubbed the back of my neck. "F-fine I will join if Levy can be there in the background" she answered as I nodded. "Deal" we shook hands as Levy then passed Lucy her phone. Lucy answered and I couldn't believe my ears. "WHERE ARE YOU?" I could hear Ice Princess's (Gray's) voice on the other side. "TRYING TO MAKE ME DEAF STRIPPER?" Lucy shouted back down the phone as I smirked. A new nick name to call him huh? I laughed a little at the name thinking of ways to make it better. "IS THAT FLAME BRAIN I HEAR?" I then heard him shout.

"He kinda locked me and Levy in the music room" Lucy muttered as the line ended up dead. Lucy looked at the phone confused and the shrugged as she walked over to her bag putting it inside. "So seems I got 2 Heartfilla's in my band" I laughed as I then heard banging at the door. "OPEN IT FLAME BRAIN" Gray shouted as I smirked walking over opening it. "Hey Ice Stripper" I welcomed him into the room as he rushed over to Lucy. "Did he hurt you?" he asked worried as Lucy shook her head. "Lucy sang a song" Levy whispered as Gray looked at Lucy shocked.

"WHAT?" he screamed as Lucy looked at the ground. Was this a bad thing? "You haven't sang for the last 5 years" Gray then pulled Lucy into a hug. It then hit me. If their mother was my mothers friend it means she died. I stayed quiet. "WHY DID YOU LOCK MY SISTER IN A ROOM?" Gray then shouted at me as he pulled away from the hug. "She's our new singer that's why" I answered as Gray looked at Lucy shocked. "He's making you ain't he?" Gray asked as his hand turned into a fist. Was he going to fight me? I always won our fights. "W-we made a deal" Lucy whispered.

Gray then jumped at me as we started a fight. "YOUR DEAD ASH FOR BRAINS" Gray shouted as we kept swinging punches at each other. "Boys" I heard Levy and Lucy sigh as we kept fighting. Some reason something felt different. Knowing Lucy knew my mothers song made me want to keep her close... What was wrong with me?
