Laura pov.

Today is the day that I go against one of my biggest rivals at Nationals.

I'm already at the stadium warming up and getting my jitters out.

I invited my best friends, Raini and Maia and the Lynchs.

Speaking of the devils.

"Hey guys!" I say running up and hugging Raini and Maia first.

I then get to Rydel and stop at Ross while hearing 'heys' and 'sups'.

"We're back at square one I see?" Maia says.

I laugh and say, "Yep. They won't give up!" I say in exasperation.

"You'll beat them for sure Laura. Your very talented." Rocky says while winking.

I blush a bit and thank him.

When we start talking about random stuff, my rival walks in.

The group turns their head to see what I was looking.

"The devil walks among us again." Raini says with an attitude.

My rival, Chelsea Victoria, has been my enemy for thirteen years. She still can't get over the fact that I've beaten her at everything.

Chelsea and I have a five minute stare down before she blinks, flicks her golden blonde hair and walks off to the dressing room.

"#salty" Ryland says.

I laugh at his comment.

"Well guys. Since the competition is in ten minutes, I had better get changed. Talk to you later?" I say.

"For sure." Ross says while winking at me.

Whats up with the Lynch boys and their winking?

Is something stuck in their eye?

I shake my head from the thoughts and smile at the rest of them while walking away to my dressing room.

When I arrive, I put on my outfit that was picked out by my manager.

I'm performing a piece called ' Beauty and the Beast ' from my favorite Disney movie.

By the time I'm done with the outfit, my manager, Rebecca, calls me out for my solo.

It was right after Chelsea's solo and she was in the middle of completing.

I said on a bench on the side of the rink while watching Chelsea's solo.

She was doing so well that I thought she would beat me.

That was until she fell while doing a very fast motion camel spin.

Dang! She actually had a chance but she blew it once again. This happens at every competition.

Her manager takes her off the rink and I'm called to get on the rink.

I'm the last performance and I already know I'll dominate it.

By the time I'm done, everyone is on their feet and tears are streaming from the judge's faces.

Heck! Even I'm shedding a few tears.

This is what life is about.

I ended up getting first place and the gang and I decided to go to my favorite restaurant.

APPLE BEE'S!!!

So not much Raura in this chapter and its short asf but its SOMETHING.
