Ross pov.

The band and I decided to have a pop concert in LA. We invited Laura too. Well I invited Laura.

There's something about her that just entices me. Maybe it's the way her beautiful ombre hair cascades down her back like a waterfall or the way she walks with so much grace. Don't even get me started on those seductive golden brown eyes. Everything about her is perfect. Sometimes I just wanna grab her and-

"Ross, are you done? The rest of us wanna get ready too ya know."

I snap out of my fairytale trance and finish brushing up my hair. After that, I unlock the door for a shouting Riker.

"Jeez I know you want to impress Laura but do you really need an hour and a half of alone time in the bathroom?"

I punch him on the chest and walk out of the bathroom.

On the way to my bedroom, I pass Rydel, who's on the phone with none other than the girl of my dreams.

"We'll have our bodyguard stand outside and wait for you so you can come backstage......yeah.......ok.....ok bye."

"Hey Del." I greet my bubbly sister.

"Sup Ross." She says then glides past me and down the stairs.

Laura pov.

I put the finishing touches on my hair and makeup and I'm all set.

My outfit is on point and I'm just so on fleek that I have to take a picture. I post it on Instagram and head out the door.

I arrive at the venue and it's packed!

I had a hard time finding that security dude but when I did, boy was I thankful.

He led me to this room which said R5 and left.

Such a gentleman. (Notice the sarcasm.)

I knocked on the door but once there was no response I entered thinking that they were doing soundcheck or something.

I looked all around the room but no one. So I sat on the couch and scrolled through Insta on my phone. I heard a door open and close but the door that I entered in wasn't the one that opened.

"Laura?"

I turned to see a shirtless Ross. My jaw dropped and my first instinct was to cover my eyes so I did.

"Can you,uh, put on a shirt?" I asked.

"Fine but only because I know you can't handle my six pack."

"You forgot to finish your sentence. Six packs of foods."

"Yeah yeah whatever. Um... Laura?"

"Yeah?"

"I've been meaning to ask you something."

I stop scrolling immediately and start to panic in my head.

Oh god.

"Yeah sure. What's up?"

"Would you go on a date with me this Friday?"

My heart drops to my stomach.

Oh God. Laura say something. You sitting there gaping like a fish is not gonna help anything.

"Sure. I would love to."

His face lights up with his megawatt smile.

"Great. Pick you up at 7."

He winks and walks out of the room.

My face heats up and I text Rydel about it.

Ahhhhh.

My first date since him. I can't wait.

After I finish texting Rydel, I lay down for a few minutes and the next thing I know is I'm knocked out.

Half an hour later.

"Laura. Laura wake up."

"I don't wanna go to school mom."
I say while pushing the hand away.

"But I baked brownies."

I jump up quick at the sound of brownies.

"Where?!" I stand looking around for the chocolate goodness but all I see are five laughing Lynchs.

"Ha ha very funny. Wait did I miss the concert?" I exclaim pacing around in a brisk manner.

"No we're just about to go on in five minutes so you better hurry up." Rydel points out. "And you look absolutely gorgeous girly."

Classic Dell.

"Thanks girl. You too."

I straighten myself while the other Lynchs make their way on stage.

I stop Ross before he leaves and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Good luck."

I skip out feeling a zoo in my stomach.
