I couldn't actually believe that I was at cendel high.
Here I was standing at the entrance of this magnificent building my joy unexplainable.

"Better get ready for some bougie" Maddy said as we were about to enter school grounds, with my dad ,who soon took the lead as we were directed to an office.

After what looked like a 30 minutes walk we got to a door with G&C written above which my dad opened so carefree

"Hey Mister Eric!" I was surprised at his tone, very calm and non-professional
"Oh! Mr Henderson Good day" said the young looking man.

"He knows your dad?" Maddy asked
"Seems like it"

"Your daughters I presume?"
"Em, oh right! This is Morgan my daughter and her friend Maddy"."and of course my big man Hunter, my second kid"

"Hello Miss Henderson" Eric said now stretching out his palm for a handshake as he was now standing in front of us

"Good day sir" I replied sheepishly
"Call me Eric" he said with a reassuring smile

"Miss ..." He trolled
"Madison Jones sir"
"How are you feeling so far about your new school miss Jones?"
"I'm excited sir..Mr Eric" Maddy replied

"And the big man how are you today?"
"fyn Sir" Hunter replied Grinning from ear to ear

"I got to run off now to work " my dad said now hastening us up out of the office
"Ok then" .

.........few hours later.......

After like 2 classes we were told to assemble at the hall.

"It's a freshman's meeting" Maddy said happily as we walked through the hallway

We got to a very big hall written at the entrance 'CENDEL'S multipurpose hall.'

As we entered we saw some set of students leaving the hall all dressed up in some constumes more like dance constumes.

Then the teacher leading us to the hall greeted the other one coming out.

We soon took our sit as we awaited the principal.

"Taken!" Maddy yelled mildly at a girl who wanted to sit beside her
"Chill maddy" I said as the girl moved on the next one.

"Can I sit here?"
"Oh yes definitely" Maddy said quite different from her usual tone and voice. Only for me to look up and see a guy about to take his sit beside maddy.
"Maddy" i yelled mildly and poked her ankle playfully
"Yes!" She replied and rolled her eyes

"Ahem attention please" someone called out to grab our attention as the hall was a little noisy .
I thought it would be awkwardly quiet as not many people know themselves but I guess I was wrong.

"Good day ladies and gentlemen, I am Mr. Stuart your principal"
"I want to warmly welcome you all to this great school"he continued

"He doesn't really look good in suit I think he looks better in jeans" Maddy said as if she knows him so well.
"Hmm and miss, how do you know that?" i asked
"I don't know it just shows" she shrugged
"Hmm okay"
she has a good fashion sense though so maybe.

"We have some notable personalities in our midst" I heard principal Stuart say , I haven't really been listening to him though with maddy by my side.

"We have Ms. Penelope phills , Mister Robert Williams, Mister Scott Cruz, Ms. Hella White , Ms miranda....."

Although I saw her earlier where she pretended to not have seen me but as principal Stuart called her name it gave me a very weird uncomfortable feeling.
He called some other names but I think I stopped listening from when hella's name was called.

After a while of talking, and introducing some staffs and heads of the school we were told to go back to our classes.

I went straight to my locker whilst Maddy went off somewhere with the guy that sat opposite her I never got the name though.

I arranged my locker and I placed a picture of Mason by the side, I couldn't stop staring at the picture.
"Awwn" Maddy yanked me out of my thoughts
"Has he called you yet"
"Nope he hasn't"
"No worry very soon.
He wants you to miss him a little" Maddy said
"Really?" Raising an eyebrow with my arms crossed.
"Just kidding but don't worry it won't be long"Maddy reassuringly said

"And who is Mr fine guy over there?" I asked as I saw the guy from earlier
Standing across us talking to some guy.

"Oh Jason, just a new friend" she said
"Hmm okayyy " I stressed the 'okay'
"He's a really cool guy, you got to meet him, I don't why you didn't even say anything to him in the hall even a 'hi' "

I just shrugged in reply

"Cendel is fun already"Maddy happily Said
"For you though".

I closed my locker and started for my class only to see Maddy in all her 'glory' coming towards me

"She better not coming this way cause she's gonna get it from me" Maddy said furiously.
