"What are you thinking about morgan?" Mason asked me

"I'm okay"
Wait what did I say?

".. Umm.. mm.. um I mean nothing" I said correcting myself immediately.. I felt embarrassed.

"If you say so" he replied and shrugged

The song was now changed to a slow one and everybody swayed away.

Mason held me by the waist and I placed my hands on his shoulder
I just wanted to stay this way till the end of today

"I didn't know you could dance like that" mason said
"even I didn't know" I replied with a chuckle. Trying to catch my breath coz that was hectic

We continued talking until he said something that hit me
"I didn't tell you how you look today," he started

"Well" he continued
"you look beautiful" .

"Th .. e. Thank you, you look emmm.. em you look cute" Why did I say that. I immediately regretted it and I couldn't stop blushing.

When I thought I could stop blushing that was when it got worse.
We were now starring at each other and only God knew what stopped me from turning ..

turn your head idiot turn your head.. I kept saying to myself but believe me it didn't work .

I could feel my face heating up as his face moved closer to mine

I felt numb , the tingling feeling in my stomach went from a 1 to 10,000

I leaned in, my eyes focused on his lips then I shut my eyes as his lips crashed into mine

My eyes were still close I couldn't open them cause I think I'm gonna collapse right now.. He kissed me! he just freaking kissed me!! .

I finally opened my eyes only to see mason looking more handsome than ever starring at me with his gorgeous blue eyes

am I dreaming right now.

"Happy birthday morgan" Mason said with a smile on his face ..my birthday! only to look at my watch 12:01am right on time.

"Thank you mason this is the best birth.."

"woo! Woo! Awwnn" I was soon cut off by the unending scream and clapping from around us

I look around to see the happy faces but there was one unhappy face you should know who it was.. Hella! ..

She was furious I could see her saying something to nicole, though I couldn't hear what she was saying, but I knew she was yelling at Nicole who wasn't paying attention because she was also clapping and cheering but was interrupted by hella who yanked her out of the moment and they both started for the exit.

My gaze was now on maddy she was so happy and winked at me as our eyes met . I could say I was on top of the world.

"Wow! what a wonderful way to end this wonderful event" I heard brown say he was now on the stage"

"the journey through maywell has been a wonderful journey guys.
we all have made friends,
some has also made enemies, others have found love," .. He gestured to mason and I as he said that part..

"Some got into trouble with principal hamilton and so on but one thing is for sure, maywell junior high has been a great place to be!" he continued

Brown went on and on.. Believe me it was really an emotional speech.

we were all sitting down although some people were still standing and scattered all around the place.

He raised up something that I couldn't really see I was kind of sleepy

but I knew he chanted "to maywell!!" And everybody chorused "to maywell!!"
