I got to school later than usual so I rushed to my locker to grab somethings before the bell for first period goes off.

"Morgan, where have you been all morning I've been looking for you" I closed my locker to see Maddy standing in front of me with her arms folded around her chest.

"I woke up late" I said with frustration
"Oh, I thought I was the late one, I'm disappointed in you young girl" she said playfully.

I shaked my head and continued checking through my stuffs                     

"So how was..."             
"Maddy hey, have you read it?" someone cut me off before I could finish my statement.
I tilted my head to see who it was.It was Ashley,she and Maddy had to meet up during the weekend for their project. They've bonded quite well.

"oh hi Morgan" she acknowledged me   "hey Ashley" I greeted back

"Read what?" Maddy asked Ashley confused                                        "The latest post that's trending on cendel's digest" Ashley said as she held her phone up               

"oh that" I said with no more interest, Maddy was really into the cendel digest site she's posts some stories that do trend.
I just go there once in awhile especially when there's a very important story or stories concerning me -which rarely is- or people I know. 

"oh shit" Maddy cursed as she brought out her phone                              "my battery died lastnight, so i couldn't check, and i was about to check it this morning when I got to school before I saw Morgan" Maddy said as she scrolled through her phone.

"Oh my God!" Maddy exclaimed seconds later, I turned and saw the shock in her eyes.

"Morgan" she called me with a low tone
"You have to see this" she said with traces of anger and pity in her voice.

"What is it?" I asked eagerly as I moved closer to her.
Then she handed me her phone.

I read the headline and I froze up I just kept scrolling I wasn't sure if any of these word were written in English anymore because my head was spinning.

I couldn't believe what I was reading until I saw the pictures, I couldn't believe it, I was shocked, I was angry.
A tear dropped on the screen of Maddy's phone.

I placed the phone  in  Maddy's  hand
and stormed off.

"Morgan!, Morgan!" She called after me but I kept walking

I was in one of the bathroom crying my eyes out when someone knocked

"Morgan" the voice called,

"Go away!" I yelled
"She's here Maddy" the voice said to someone else.

"Morgan come on, open up" It was Maddy this time

I came out trying to stop myself from crying

Maddy enveloped me in a hug before I could say anything.

"Are you okay" Ashley asked
"I don't know" I said as I went to the sink to wash my face

"I'm sorry I broke the news to you like that I didn't know you guys were like a thing" Ashley tried to apologise

"We're not a thing!" I snapped
"I'm sorry" I said to her as I realised how harsh I sounded.

"I would have found out anyways"

"We can ditch first period if you want, so you could go somewhere and talk about it" Maddy offered.

"No, no you guys don't have to do that"
"I don't even know why I'm angry about this in the first place" I said

"I think it was my fault that this happened"
"How do you mean?" Maddy asked

"About the kiss on Friday night"
"Maybe, he was upset and decided to go out with Nicole to get back at me" yeah Nicole, from glee.

"Nicole, as in Hella's Nicole!" Ashley asked in shock

"yeah" I replied
"shut the front door!" Ashley said suprised

"No, Morgan don't say that, he doesn't deserve your tears, he's a douchebag if he really liked you like he says he wouldn't have done that to you" Maddy said angrily

"And just a day after for that matter, nah he doesn't deserve you Morgan" Ashley added.

"But, Nicole really! He could've done better than that" Ashley said with disgust.

"Thank you guys so much" I pulled them into a hug.

"I can't wait to see Hella's face when she heard the news" Maddy smirked

"That's if she hasn't seen it already, I'm sad for her" Ashley said sarcastically.

"Okay guys we need to get to class before we miss second period too" I said

"Before we go, I want you to promise me that you won't get said about him again" Maddy asked matter-of-factly

"Screw him, who is Justin even?" I rolled my eyes

"we have no idea" Ashley said sarcastically and we burst into laughter.

"I love you Morgan I hope you know that" Maddy stated

"We do" Ashley added

"I know"
"we better get to class" I announced
"Yeah we should do that" Ashley said in agreement

"I bet Mr Conrad would let me into his  chemistry practical class" Maddy sighed
"You could hang with me I'm sure Miss lily won't be coming to class today" Ashley offered

"sure, but what happened to her though?" Maddy asked.
"It's a long story,  no worry I'll fill you in" Ashley Affirmed as we started for the exit.
