Prophecies of Time-
Wyatt fell asleep before they arrived in Midna Town. So when they got there, the smaller boy was surprised.
"What-" Ash smiled.
"You fell asleep." He paused before they got to the Center. Upon hearing about the School having a tournament, they decided to find this "top student".
"Celi! Tesseract!"
They went over as a green light filled the air. As it faded, it was revealed a few fossils had been reverted back to their original form. A Celebi huffed softly as a green haired girl grinned.
"Nicely done, Celi! You can turn them back." Once they were turned back into fossils, the girl allowed it to rest in her arms. She giggled before noticing the two boys. She went to yell when Ash spoke in a soft voice.
"Before you go screaming, we are not here to take your Celebi or even hurt either of you two. Don't scream and no one will ever know." She narrowed her eyes as Wyatt's companion, a Delta Meloetta, appeared on his head. Celebi, despite being drained, waved to it, getting a wave back. Wyatt giggled at the exchange before she frowned.
"What are you two doing here?" The two boys glanced at each other before looking at her.
"I presume your Nora?" Her frown only deepened.
"Yes..."
"The school's been looking for you so they can start." She paused as his words were processed. Then it hit her.
"Oh!" She returned the Time Travel Pokemon before bolting past them, leaving only the fossils with the boys.
~
Wyatt grinned as he cleared the trio. Nicole stood no chance while Damian tried. Nora was a struggle, but he pushed back. He giggled as Ash's Pikachu curled up on his head.
"Victory!" They smiled as his Bulbasaur tilted its head. He then smiled before a yawn escaped him. "So much work-" Ash purred before picking him up, Pikachu getting on his trainer's head while Bulbasaur got comfy on Wyatt's chest.
"Let's go, you tired boy." Wyatt nodded before he cuddled up to the taller male.
~
"Abyssal Cult!"
Wyatt rubbed his face as he and Ash caught up to Nora, who had chased some cultists into some ruins.
"Leave that Riolu alone!" No matter how much Wyatt tried, his vision kept blurring up. He gritted his teeth as he tried to focus. Pikachu zapped their pokemon as the lead guy smirked.
"Hold them back!" A Quagsire came out as Ash cursed under his breath.
"Drat-"
"What's the matter?"
"Ground Type. I can't fight it... except..." He gulped. "Iron Tail!" Pikachu charged forward, right into a Mudshot. "Oh thanks!" Nora gulped as the other two grouped up to grab the Riolu. Wyatt retried to focus his vision on the fight, but that was hopeless. A Lucario suddenly appeared, quickly pushing them back. The lead guy hummed.
"Interesting. Luckily, I came prepared." A Swanna appeared as the darkness in Wyatt's vision started turning red. Pikachu was thrown back as Nora tried, getting the same pleasantries.
"Shit..." Nora gulped. "Leave that family alone!" Wyatt managed to steady his breathing, working to steady himself as the red covered further vision. The lead guy scoffed as the Swanna forced the Lucario to mega with how hard it was hitting.
"What are you going to do? Stop me?" He chuckled as Pikachu retried, managed to dodge the Mudshots before getting slammed into the ground by a Body Slam. Wyatt took a shallow breath as Lucario was slammed into the wall. "Too easy. Our lovely Cult Leader chose me for a reason." Wyatt finally snapped, an aura encasing him.
"LEAVE THEM ALONE!" Something raced forward, tearing down the Quagsire and Swanna with little effort. The Cultists were thrown into the wall as Wyatt collapsed from exhaustion. Ash knelt down while Nora pulled out a revive for Lucario.
"It's not much, but this should get you back up." It thanked her before the duo raced off. The cultists had vanished as well, no doubt escaping their demise. The thing had poofed as Wyatt stirred. He didn't wake up, but one stir got a sigh of relief from Ash. He smiled as he picked up the smaller boy.
"That was close..." Nora nodded before she glanced at Wyatt, who had cuddled up to Ash's shoulder.
"What was that?" Ash hummed.
"I have no idea. I haven't been journeying with him for that long. He also has blurry memories. I think something happened to him." She hummed as Wyatt whimpered, shivering as he buried his head into the taller male's shoulder. Nora then pulled a blanket out of her bag and gave it to Wyatt.
"Well... monitor him. He can keep that. If it shows up again, we'll see." Ash nodded as Wyatt's trembled paused.
