Cassidy was curious like most human beings. She liked knowing things, being informed but he trouble was finding the effort to look for it.

Although curious like most, she was also unlike some in a way that she urged to find the truth but never got up and looked for it. She wanted to know science, she wanted to learn about how the brain works, why humans live to destroy themselves and those around them. She wanted to learn French, Japanese, Italian and most languages. She wanted to know simple things like how to make pasta sauce. But she just didn't.

But sometimes she broke through the stopping herself. She would find herself online, finding out. But then she'd start skimming, trying to get it over with without taking it in and then she'd stop, only knowing quarter of what she sought out.

She would quit.

She had only herself to blame, but she liked blaming the education system; how they left her to rot after her natural smarts that got her through primary school suddenly weren't enough and she was stuck not knowing how to apply herself to her full potential.

Cassidy was a curious being, but she was also clueless.
