Sousuke's POV

"Sousuke!, did you see that!?" one of my subordinate said then pointed to a group of people. I can't believe what I'm seeing.

"That man... isn't he a wolfman!?" panic can be heard in his voice. 

No, I don't want to believe it. "Sakura" I whisper, "He's the reason she hasn't been paying attention to me...!" I was angry so angry! "That guy, will pay."

Ginrou's POV

"Kouta!" She yelled. "Hey! Kouta!" Sakura is looking for her little brother. 

The little brat, he's in the same tree with me making her sister worry. He smile looking at me. What's wrong with this kid?

"I wonder where that kid went?" her sister asked herself. I'm bored.

"A wolfman? You saw a wolfman!?" one of the villager said, "Did he come to attack the village!?" another villager said, panicking.

The villagers are all alert, having a wolfman inside the village is very dangerous, "Let's go hunt it down in the mountains! Gather all the guns!" one of the guards ordered.

"Listen up! Wolfmen can only be killed with silver bullets."

"Chief...I saw him. He was actually talking to a human from this village..." Sousuke's subordinate said to the Chief of the village.

Sakura's POV

What's happening? Why is everyone armed, sh*t!

One of the guards saw me, before I could run away he caught my wrist!

"Your father also died with the wolves! You're a traitor!" he yelled at me, I tried to pry my hands away from him but he's too strong.

"It's a misunderstanding! Ginrou wasn't trying to attack the village!" I said in defensed. It's true though.

"You probably know where the wolfman lives! Take us there!" another guard yelled at me, what's with yelling, F*ck!

I saw Sousuke, is this his doing?! "Sousuke!" I threaten, "It's your fault! you were swayed by another man" he reasoned. No this can't be happening 'It isn't stopping' I need to do something. I need to warn him.

"Ginrou..." I whisper unsure, but I need to save him, this now or never. "Run!!!" I yelled, I knew he could hear me but I don't know if he heared me, but please please be safe.

The chief's guards drag me to the forest, I lead them to Ginrou's cave, I hope he's already gone.

"Is this really where that wolfman lives?" one of them said. "I'm not lying!" I replied 'If he heard my voice, He should be gone...'

I stumble on something. 'Did I step on a pebble' but what I saw isn't a pebble.

"Dammit! I almost tripped! another guard hissed, "Why are there rocks here!? They're in the way...

Sh*t! that guard! "Stop it! that's where... I got cut from what I'm saying because, "That is where my mother sleeps. I will not allow you to trample upon that ground." Ginrou's spoke calmly but with a hint of hatred in it. 

"Ginrou!!!" I yelled, why is he still here!!! a-and what did he says? his mother's grave? No, no way!

I looked at him, his silver eyes are glowing menacing, h-he looks so scary.

"Look! it's him! the wolfman!" the guard whose holding me yelled angrily. "You idiot! why didn't you run away? you don't need to worry about me!" I told Ginrou, wait who's he carrying?

"Sister!", It's Kouta! 

"Don't move or this child dies!" he growled, Why? why is he doing this! I thought, I thought! "Ginrou, why?" I asked to shocked of what's happening.

"Silly woman! did you really think I could love a human woman!?" he spat. No he's lying, right?

"I got close to you so I could use you. I thought it would be amusing to use humans to increase the wolf population and then eventually overtake those same humans." He explained calmly. He didn't even blink. "After all, the forest has it's law as does you village and so, by your village's law, don't you still have to hunt me?" he said emotionless. His words stab me like a sword.

"I knew it! wolfmen are treacherous!" one of the guards yelled. "I pity you for being deceived"

'If I had realized it sooner'. "Sousuke, give me your gun" I commanded, he gave it to me.

"Shoot me" 

I loaded the gun, 'If I had let myself be taken sooner' It hurts so much.

He changed into his wolf form, Ginrou's bit Kouta's collar and threw him to the guards. I pointed the gun at him. "Is that your answer?" 

"He's coming kill it!" one of the guards yelled.

"Stand down! Ginrou is my prey!" I yelled to them, tears flowing down my cheeks. 

Bang!

I shot him, Kouta's yelling at the background, I couldn't believe what I did. It hurts so much...

Sakura's POV

I will never be able to touch that hair with my fingers. Nor be touched by his. I kneeled to the ground unable to hold my tears, and cried my eyes out till no more tears spilled.

One year later ...

"Oh my, what a lovely bride you are" one of the servant maid said. "Sousuke is such a lucky man. What did he do to win you?" another one asked.

It's cherry blossom season, and I'm now getting married. It's been a year... since that day.

"It must have been difficult raising your little brother alone. Though it did seem that he was a little overbearing.", the head maid said, "It's good that this day has finally come." she finished. "Wait a minute, please. Your groom will arrive soon." they said, and left. Me and my brother are now alone inside the room.

"Sister, I've decided to take an apprentice-ship at one of the big stores in Yokohama, therefore, I'm leaving the village. I don't need you to look after me anymore. I'll be fine." Kouta said to me. I couldn't believe he would grow up to be this confident, I'm very proud of my brother.

"Therefore, from now on, please consider your own happiness. It's okay to do so." He smiled. "You're not alone anymore." and with that he left the room.

Now I'am left alone, but I spoke to soon.

"At that time I switched the silver bullet with a lead bullet I picked up off the ground." I said slowly, "I thought you'd never forgive me for pointing a gun at you." I finished saying almost to tears. I can't believe his here.

I can't believe he would come back.

"I've come to take you away, Sakura" with that the water works begun, I hugged him, and he hug me back. The voice I always wanted to hear. His touch that calms me down. He came back to take me away! I love him so much.

In the Meiji 38, All of Japan's Wolves Disappeared into Darkness. However, even now in this current era, In the spring there are occasional whispers about the gazes of silver eyed forms.

'If you see a silver wolf, be careful you might get captured and taken away'

In the distance, two silver wolf pups bundled up together gazes at the city that is once a village.
