One day, I decided to go through Salem and pick out houses that I imagined looked like the ones some of the Silver Society members lived in. I figured I'd include those pictures here to help you visualize their homes and also because the architecture of Salem is awesome and it's interesting to look at the houses. The buildings are really colorful and every house looks different. I'm also including a couple of other buildings that inspired locations in the books.

ALEX'S HOUSE

This is the home of Alex, Jesse, and ultimately another character (spoiler removed). It's also the site of the Silver Society meetings.

THE ASHFORD HOUSE

This is the home of the Ashford Family, Lewis, Maggie, Kevin, and Beth. Yes, it's huge, and yes, it's pink, a fact Kevin doesn't love and Jade chooses to ignore.

CASSANDRA'S HOUSE

This is where Cassandra lives. The flower bush outside was planted deliberately to make people think she couldn't possibly live there, as she's not a pink flower sort of person.

THE CONNELLY HOUSE

The home of Spencer and Judy Connelly.

THE DENTON HOUSE

The home of Cierra, Tyler, and Terri Denton.

DYLAN'S HOUSE

Dylan's house, a sanctuary for his friends and for music.

JADE AND BETH'S HOUSE

After the events of Warrior, this is where Jade and Beth end up.

THE INN

This is the inn where Serpent's Kiss stayed during their time in Salem. No spoilers, but if you read Secrets, you know what happened here. (This is actually a photo of The Clippership Inn. It's a pretty creepy inn and I did not enjoy my stay there, but it inspired some interesting events in the books. The inn in the books is obviously not actually meant to reflect the real inn pictured, but I liked the layout for the sake of the story.)

THE LAUNDROMAT

This laundromat was sacred to Jesse because he used to go there with his mom to do laundry. His father refused to do laundry, so they were safe from his abuse there. It is seen in a flashback during Book 6, and is where most of the characters do their laundry. (Sadly, this laundromat has actually closed since this photo was taken. I always did my laundry there when visiting Salem because it was in the center of everything, right near the Old Town Hall.)

MELISSA'S CATHOLIC SCHOOL

This is the Catholic school Melissa attended and the church it's attached to. In real life, this building is across the street from the Burying Point.

THE PHILLIPS HOUSE

This is the home of Aideen, Courtney, Clarissa, and Benny Phillips. Many scenes take place here, including a huge birthday party thrown for the twins in Secrets.

THE SCHWARTZ HOUSE

The home of Randy and Darla Schwartz.
