Spoilers ahead if you have not read Salem's Civil War. I can't include pictures for everyone because of Wattpad's limit of twenty photos. There are a lot of characters in this book, so I tried to pick the most important ones as far as providing photos. Very minor characters have been left off of the list entirely.

MAIN CAST
EVAN BLACKWELL

Evan is the thirteenth member of the Silver Society. He only joins them after their first member is lost in each incarnation, so Spencer's death brought him to Salem. He is a powerful Seer and clairvoyant. His Silver Society talisman is a silver gun charm on a chain that is charged with protection and divination spells. He wears it under his clothes at all times. He usually wears suits, but when he doesn't, he tends to dress in all black.

Evan has a medical degree despite only being in his early twenties. His documentation says he's in his late twenties. He works as a professional hitman and never misses a target.

He was hired by both the vampires and the witches to kill targets, but the only name on both lists was Aideen. He was attracted to Aideen immediately, but he still tried to kill her after hearing her casually discussing killing vampires. He missed her twice, making her the only target he has ever missed.

Evan decided to protect Aideen, saving her from a death spell. They shared an immediate connection and eventually fell in love. Evan only stayed in Salem for Aideen, expressing he had no interest in being part of the Silver Society. Despite this, he becomes an active member and comes to care for the others even though he doesn't admit it. He is completely devoted to Aideen and will do anything for her.

Evan is fierce, stoic, and occasionally sarcastic. Aideen makes him smile easily, something no one else can do.

He is originally from New York. More comes out about Evan's history in Book Seven, but I won't spoil it here.

VAMPIRES

ERYLIA

Erylia is an immortal Uanie vampire. She is beautiful and is always impeccably dressed. She has strong killer instincts and can be dangerous if angered, but she is not actually evil. After the witches sent a deity to kill nine vampire children, Erylia hired Evan to assassinate Aideen.

JACOB DANVERS

Jacob is an undead vampire. He is the Master of the City, making him the leader of all of Salem's vampires. He is one of the oldest undead vampires in the world and is exceptionally powerful.

Aideen finds him kind of creepy, and she used to strongly dislike him, although she still respected him. Despite his initial stance after the children were killed, Jacob later regretted the war with the witches and helped the city recover after the zombie attack.

Jacob is very stoic at all times. He is exactly what one pictures when thinking of a classic vampire. He is not evil, but occasionally makes questionable choices.

BRYNN AND TRAVIS O'ROURKE

Brynn and Travis are immortal Uanie vampires from Ireland. They are married. Although they were initially blinded by grief for the slaughtered vampire children and participated in the war, they ultimately helped end it. They are both kind but fierce.

WITCHES

ALICE JESSINK

Alice is an eighteen-year-old newly initiated witch at the start of Book 5. She is young but powerful, and Ambrosia recruited her to participate in the ritual to summon Feros to retaliate against the vampires for the death of Annabella's children. Alice doesn't agree with the ritual but trusts Ambrosia and Luigi, so she participates.

After a vampire classmate who was kind and gentle was murdered by witches, Alice decided she would leave the coven. She told the Unit what happened and they locked her in a safe room so no one would be able to find her during the war.

When the zombies attacked the Unit, Alice left the safe room to try to help. She was killed, but not eaten. After everything was over, Alice opted to let the Reapers resurrect her. Knowing Annabella took over the coven, she rejoined it.

AMBROSIA LIGGMAN

Ambrosia began Book 5 as the High Priestess of the Witches of Salem, a position she inherited from her mother. She is Annabella and Augustina's older sister. She is powerful, and was known to be a good leader, but after Annabella's children were murdered, Ambrosia's grief left her open to Luigi's influence and she wanted nothing but vengeance. This only worsened after Augustina was murdered.

Ambrosia is not evil, but Luigi pushed her to make some horrific choices that went against everything the witches stand for. In the end, Annabella tied her to a chair during the zombie attack and took control of the coven, stripping her of her status as the High Priestess and sentencing her to rehabilitation.

ANNABELLA LIGGMAN

Annabella is the younger sister of Ambrosia and the twin sister of Augustina. She was the mother of sixteen-year-old Raven, fourteen-year-old Blaze, and four-year-old Morganna. Four years prior to the start of Book 5, Annabella lost her husband in a car accident while she was pregnant with Morganna.

Annabella's children were brutally murdered by a vampire. This broke her, and she refused to release the body of Morganna until Johnny talked her down. Her grief was powerful, and initially, it blinded her to the actions Ambrosia and Luigi were taking in the name of justice for her children.

Augustina's murder simply deepened her grief, especially because she'd snapped at her at the funeral for her children, accusing her of being heartless when she tried to calm her down.

Slowly, Annabella found the strength to pull herself together. When the zombies attacked, she finally realized how much harm Ambrosia and Luigi had done. Proving she was actually the strongest of the Liggman sisters, Annabella restrained Ambrosia, stripped her of her title, and took control of the coven. She then did everything she could to help fix the mess her sister had made.

Annabella remains the High Priestess of the Salem Witches. She returns in later books and is an important part of the community.

AUGUSTINA LIGGMAN

Augustina was Annabella's twin sister and Ambrosia's younger sister. She was always very practical and calm. While Ambrosia focused on revenge after Annabella's children were killed, Augustina focused on trying to comfort her twin and keep her calm. She was a gentle soul.

Augustina was attacked and knocked unconscious before being drained of all of her blood with a tube. She was left crudely posed against a tree wearing a witch's hat, a broom, and nothing else. After her sisters had a bad feeling, Luigi "found" her body. In reality, he was the one who killed her, making it look like vampires were responsible.

OLIVIA AND OLIVER MEYERS
Olivia and Oliver are twins. Olivia is the grounded one and usually calls Earth in rituals. Oliver is a dreamer who usually calls Air. Although they initially participated in the war, they came to realize it was a mistake, and they ultimately followed Annabella's lead and helped fix things. The twins are slightly snarky and are good people.

LUIGI OSSININI

Luigi was the High Priest of the Salem Witches. He led the coven with Ambrosia. Although he seemed to be a good man, he was actually a warlock, and was extremely evil. He covered this up largely thanks to his gift for modifying memories.

It came out that Luigi was Arnie's biological father. He was responsible for the fire that killed the parents who raised him as well as the fire that killed the Berlins. After discovering Rafe and Eliza, he chose to manipulate them for their powers instead of doing the humane thing and killing Eliza, who was driven mad by being made immortal at such a young age. Luigi ordered Rafe to kill Annabella's children, starting the civil war because he hoped the witches and vampires would wipe each other out and leave everything for the warlocks.

Luigi tried to kill Melissa, prompting Arnie to stop calling her his girlfriend because he was afraid for her. He murdered Augustina himself, later "finding" her body and blaming the vampires. He manipulated Ambrosia into going on a quest for vengeance against the vampires.

He locked one of Aideen's bodies in a safe room where she would not be detected before blowing up her other body. Since she wasn't fully dead, she couldn't be resurrected, and Arnie nearly killed himself because he thought he lost her. Luckily, Cierra stopped him.

Luigi ensured Arnie was sent to live with the Fosters. He kidnapped Arnie's biological mother, Dawn. Ultimately, Arnie shot him to stop him from killing him, but Eliza resurrected him. Evan later shot him in the stomach, wounding him severely. Arnie ultimately shot Luigi in the head again, killing him for good.

PAULINA WILLIS
Paulina is a powerful energy sensitive. She unintentionally fueled Ambrosia's rage during the war, agreeing with her call for revenge. She is not a bad person, but is sometimes very misguided. She is one of the older members of the coven.

THE BERLINS (Arnie's main foster family, a family of slayers, and the only good foster family he ever had.)

CARLY BERLIN

Carly was Arnie's foster mother, the wife of Tommy, and the mother of Roger, Lindsey, Harry, Will, and Gracie. She doted on Arnie like he was her own child and was always good to him. She died in the fire, but no details are known because the house collapsed before Arnie could reach her and Tommy.

GRACIE BERLIN

Gracie is the youngest of the Berlins at eight years old. She is the only member of the family who survived the fire because her bedroom was in the basement. Arnie rescued her from the fire.

Gracie is sweet and very smart. She has known Arnie for her entire life and views him as just another sibling, not a "foster" brother.

After she was released from the hospital, Gracie was adopted by Tandy and Darren Zimmerman, slayers who trained her and are known to be good people who can't have kids of their own. Arnie took comfort in the fact that she didn't end up with some random foster family.

HARRY BERLIN

Harry was the middle Berlin child at twelve years old. He was extremely smart and loved school. He always had his nose in a book. He was shy but sweet. He died from smoke inhalation. Arnie tried to revive him with CPR, but it was too late.

LINDSEY BERLIN

Lindsey was the second-oldest Berlin child at eighteen. She was a college freshman who wanted to join a sorority. She hoped to become a social worker so she could help kids like Arnie, but Arnie was bothered by this because he believed social workers were soulless monsters. Lindsey was perky and liked to tease her siblings but was never cruel. She was burned beyond recognition and died in the fire.

ROGER BERLIN

Roger was the oldest Berlin child at twenty. Instead of going to college, he chose to work for the Unit full time. He was a really good person. He died from smoke inhalation while trying to save Lindsey from the fire, collapsing beside her bed.

TOMMY BERLIN

Tommy was Arnie's foster father, the husband of Carly, and the father of Roger, Lindsey, Harry, Will, and Gracie. He was a professional mystery novelist. He was a good man who treated both Arnie and Aideen as his children. He died in the fire.

WILL BERLIN

Will was the second youngest Berlin at ten years old. He was often bratty, but this was probably due to his age. He burned to death in the fire.

THE FOSTERS (Arnie's new foster family)

EDWARD FOSTER
Edward was the middle child of the Fosters. He was studying to become a lawyer. He insisted on being called Edward, not Ed or Eddie. He was very stiff and formal. He was actually a Figment, created by Eliza.

ELAINE FOSTER
Elaine was the oldest Foster child. She was a doctor and looked like a clone of her mother, although her smile seemed slightly more genuine. She was the mediator of the family, trying to stop conflicts before they began. She was actually a Figment, created by Eliza.

ELIZA FOSTER (ELIZA ESPOSITO)

Eliza was the youngest of the Fosters at twelve years old. Initially, Arnie thought she was being abused because she acted strangely. She was polite and silent, and she curtsied, which Arnie found very odd. She never spoke despite admitting that she could. She often sat and chewed on her hair nervously or rocked back and forth in a self-soothing rhythm. Arnie wondered if she was autistic, but the other Fosters denied it.

Eliza finally spoke during the final battle, saying to "leave her family alone" in a sing-song voice. This was when the truth came out. Eliza had Figmentation, and her "family" were Figments (or tulpas). Long ago, she and her actual brother, Rafe, were given immortality after their family was slaughtered. Being so young, Eliza was driven mad by this. Instead of doing the humane thing and killing her to free her, Luigi used her and Rafe for their powers. Eliza created the Fosters to be her family because she couldn't be on her own and Rafe was eternally a teenager and could not legally raise her without people questioning them.

Eliza's humanity showed a bit after she lost Rafe, as she was all alone and was clearly feeling devastated and scared. Aideen took pity on her. She stripped her immortality away before putting her to sleep and killing her painlessly.

GINA FOSTER
Mrs. Foster was a perfect blonde socialite on the surface. She had a fake smile that made it seem like she'd had too much plastic surgery. Beneath that, she was cruel, taunting Arnie about the fact that everyone around him always died. She caused severe psychological damage to him by reinforcing things he already believed to be true about everyone's deaths being his fault. She also helped Zombie Jo hold Skip hostage. Mrs. Foster was actually a Figment, created by Eliza.

JERRY FOSTER
Jerry was the father of the family. He ran a business. He was actually a Figment, created by Eliza.

OTHER

ELLYN BARNUM

Ellyn is the daughter of a local preacher. She swears she is a Christian, but she brews psychic teas, reads Tarot cards, and occasionally even dabbles in Voodoo. Ellyn is a powerful Seer who frequently has visions. Technically, she is a Prophetess. She is also a necromancer, which she found out when she accidentally raised her deceased mother as a zombie when she was a kid.

Ellyn is extremely sarcastic. She's also ridiculously blunt and sometimes forgets to think before she says exactly what's on her mind. She's very funny and acts a little bit crazy sometimes, but she flips the switch to serious when she needs to.

She has a strong connection to Aideen. Upon meeting her, she demanded to know why she held the key to the apocalypse because she'd been dreaming about her for days.

Her father is extremely religious and extraordinarily mortal. He could sleep through the apocalypse, which is a shame, because with the way he preaches about it constantly, Ellyn is pretty sure he'd want to see it.

CECILY
Cecily was River and Raine's aunt. She was a high ranking member of the New York devil worshippers. She tortured River to death while Jade was in labor with Joey. She was a vile woman who only cared about power.

On Raine's twelfth birthday, Cecily was going to kill her for refusing to take her cult vows. Jade showed up and killed Cecily instead using a death spell.

AUSTIN COLLINS

Austin is Jade's half-brother, who she refers to as the Half-Breed because he was born to a vampire mother and a devil worshipper father. He was turning thirteen when he was introduced in book five. Although Jade never mentioned him prior to that book, he was part of the reason she killed her parents. She feared what their father would do to him after she believed her parents killed Joey. Jade loves to tease him but she is actually very protective over him. It's clear that she loves him.

Austin is pretty good at vampire parlor tricks, especially using the Seduction. He has a bit of a crush on Beth, who he sometimes calls Empathabeth. He also has feelings for Raine. He's clever, funny, and deep down, he's very kindhearted.

His mother is an alcoholic and although she's not very good to him, she's usually sick from drinking and Austin feels like he has to protect her.

Joey calls Austin "Uncle Half-Bweed."

RAFE (RAPHAEL ESPOSITO)

Rafe was Courtney's latest boyfriend. Cassandra took an instant disliking to him, and although Aideen was initially charmed by his cherub-like features, she soon became suspicious of him as well.

Rafe acted like the perfect guy but was secretly evil. He was a Class A psychic vampire, the most dangerous type, and was immortal. He drained Courtney's energy for the duration of their relationship, making her collapse and eventually making her so sick she had to be hospitalized with what the doctors diagnosed as a severe flu.

After Aideen vanished and was presumed dead, Rafe tricked Courtney into doing a spell under the guise of saving Aideen, but he actually used Courtney's powers to raise every corpse in Salem as zombies.

Eventually, after he ordered the Benny Zombie to abduct Courtney, the truth came out. Rafe confessed he was much more than a day walker vampire and had been using Courtney for her power. His real name was Raphael Esposito. He was Eliza's older brother. When they were children, their family was slaughtered, but they were spared and turned immortal because of their powers.

Rafe could absorb the powers of others temporarily. He needed a Reaper for his plan, so he chose Courtney for her innocence. He was working for Luigi. He was the one who murdered Annabella's kids and started the civil war, on Luigi's orders. Rafe wanted vampires to wipe out the witches.

Zombie Benny killed Rafe after he brutally attacked Courtney and tried to kill her. Benny ripped his head off with his bare hands.

GEOFFREY GOBIN
Geoffrey Gobin is Arnie's social worker. Arnie is convinced he's pure evil, and he's probably right. He is the reason Arnie kept getting shuffled around between bad foster homes until the Berlins fought to keep him.

After the Berlins died, Gobin had Arnie declared ineligible to be considered for emancipation. He also ensured Alex was deemed too young to take in a third foster kid and Clarissa was determined to still be mourning her husband and therefore unable to take Arnie in either.

DAWN KELLER

Dawn is Arnie and Dylan's English teacher. Arnie became attached to her as soon as they met but didn't understand why. She has a kind heart and is a witch, but is not affiliated with the Salem Witches. Eventually, Dawn told Arnie that she was his birth mother who had to give him up for adoption because his life was in danger from his biological father, Luigi.

Dawn got kidnapped by Luigi after the truth came out. He kept her hidden, but after his death, Arnie was reunited with her. At that time, Dawn offered to take Arnie in, giving him a way to finally get out of foster care.

RAINE

Raine is River's little sister and Joey's aunt. Before he died, River made Jade promise to protect her. On the night of her twelfth birthday, her aunt Cecily forced her to take her initiation vows into the devil worshipper cult. Raine refused, so Cecily was going to kill her. Jade stepped in and saved her life.

Raine is exactly one year younger than Austin. The two have a crush on each other. Jade brought Raine to Salem to protect her, asking the Unit to find a safe home for her.

She is very sweet and smart. She can be shy at times, but once she warms up to people, she's friendly and a little bit sassy. She was very close to River.
