THE POPULAR GIRLS AT BISHOP HIGH (BETH'S FRIENDS)

HELEN EPSTEIN

Helen is ditzy and never fully gets the joke but laughs anyway. She goes along with whatever Elsie, Sabrina, and Shelly say.

ELSIE KINGSTON

Elsie is considered the funny one in the popular group. She laughs at her own jokes. She can be a little bit bitchy.

SHELLY MCGREGGOR

Shelly is the ringleader of the popular girls. She can be nice or a horrible person depending on her mood. She's a very fake person.

SABRINA MORRIS

Sabrina dates almost as much as Courtney. She almost always has boys on the brain.

OTHER

AURORA GEFFY

Aurora is a Wiccan goth girl who is the first friend outside of the Silver Society that Jade makes. She ultimately also becomes close to Beth. She is originally from down South and speaks with a slight Southern drawl. She doesn't tolerate stupidity or bullshit and is quick to defend her friends. She was raised in a coven of Blue Star Wiccans, although she's too young to be initiated. Aurora is bisexual.

Aurora becomes much more involved in later books, but I won't spoil that here.

GABRIEL MARTINEZ

Gabriel is one of the high priests of the warlocks. He is very respected amongst his kind. He gave the order that Maggie and Lewis had to kill Beth and forced them to make a blood oath.

After Lewis died, Gabriel ordered that Aideen be kidnapped because she'd been "Lewis's tramp." She was tortured for a week before Johnny was able to rescue her.

JOSHUA "JOSH" SAKI (WASHI SAKI)

Josh is Cassandra's long-lost older brother. He is four years older than she is. When she was abducted from their home in Japan, six-year-old Josh watched his father, three older brothers, and mother get murdered by corrupt slayers. Josh was able to resurrect his mother. They went on the run together, but when he was fourteen, they were caught in a horrible storm and got separated. He has been on his own ever since.

Josh had trouble convincing Cassandra to give him a chance, but she finally decided to trust him after he saved her life during an ambush where she was severely injured.

Josh's soul is an Asian Warrior God named Kyoshi, but he likes to tell people he is the Asian God of Rock and Roll. He is passionate about music and has been known to casually discuss the merits of different styles of music with Dylan while in battle. He can summon his soul's sword by putting his palms up and focusing. His sword not only kills enemies but can destroy their souls.

His soul is destined to protect Beth's deity aspect, Amber. He is one of Beth's guardians because of this. He watches over her and tries to help her when she's having a hard time.

Josh has a strong sense of humor. He rarely shows it when something bothers him and usually laughs it off. He always has a witty comeback.

AMOS WHITE

Amos is Arthur's father. He is a high-ranking warlock who took very little interest in his son until he joined Bishop High School's EVS. Prior to that, Arthur lived with his mother and rarely saw his father, as his parents are divorced. Amos is very wealthy and thinks he's better than everyone else.
