~Amara~

"I'm bored." Crystal whined for the millionth time. Pepper groaned with her.

"I'm almost done." I sighed. For the past hour I've been trying to detangle the mess on top of Crystal's head. Her hair was in such a knot, I was surprised it came undone at all. She informed me earlier today that she hadn't cut it, brushed it, or done anything for the past three months or so with it. I almost ripped out my own hair trying to get hers free from its tangles.

"There." I said. She got up and ran over to a puddle to look at herself. Her Eevee jumped excitedly as she saw her trainer's new look.

"I love it!" Crystal giggled as she admired her hair. It was now cut just past her shoulders. Her hair shined just as bright as her smile did.

Crystal threw her arms around my neck. "Thank you Amara!"

"You're welcome." I beamed brightly with her.

"Can we go show Austin?" Crystal said, still jumping up and down like crazy.

"Sure." I shrugged. She placed her hand in mine. Together we hiked back to where Austin, Star, and Skarmory were. In no time at all, we arrived in the small clearing where Austin and Star were deep in slumber. For the past few hours, they've been sleeping nonstop. They lost a lot of blood, they need plenty of rest. Skarmory swooped down from his perch on a branch to see us.

"Skar!" He screeched. His head nuzzled against my neck. I patted his back and gave him a hug back.

"He's still sleeping." Crystal pouted.

"Let him. He needs his rest." I told her.

She let out a long sigh.

"How about we find something else to do?" I asked her.

She bonked her head against a tree repeatedly in boredom. This kid always was bored. I have no idea how she lived alone for months by herself. I rummaged through Austin's bag again looking for something that she could do. I saw lots of machines and weapons of all kinds. They scared me to look at, nevermind touching.

"Here!" I exclaimed. I pulled out a notepad and a pen. Austin's handwriting was scrawled all over the front page so I flipped to a clean sheet, and handed it to her.

"Yay! I haven't drawn in forever." Crystal squealed and snatched the things out of my hands. She plopped onto the ground, Pepper crawling on to her leg. She clicked the pen down. No point came out for writing. Instead a tiny burst of static was heard.

"Eeeeeeeeeee!" Pepper screamed. Her fur stood on end as she jumped straight up into the air. Her little paws squashed her ears as she desperately tried to cover them.

"W-what's wrong?" Crystal stammered.

The little brown fox bolted into the woods. "I'll be back!" Crystal hollered as she ran after her friend.

I began to follow her when someone said something beside me.

"Austin?" A staticky voice asked frantically.

I nearly jumped out of my skin. I looked around my surroundings, looking for the owner of the voice.

"Austin?" It asked again. My eyes landed on the pen.

"Um, pen?" I said cautiously.

Did the pen just freaking talk?

"A-Austin-wh-ere-are-you." The voice began breaking up. It was getting harder to understand.

"Uhh, I'm not Austin." I told the pen.

The pen began smoking. Blue sparks began zapping around it. I jumped back as it caught itself on fire.

"Austin?" I yelled.

"W-wah?" He said groggily, just now waking up.

"I think I sort of, um, broke something."

~Godric~

"What the-" I said.

"What's wrong?" Aimee asked. She swiveled her chair around so that she was next to me.

"Austin's channel completely cut out. I think the pens are breaking again. Tell Annie to come up with some new design and fast. This can't keep happening all the time." I explained.

"On it." She nodded and started typing furiously at her computer. Her headset crackled as she began talking to Annie about the pens.

"Good." I smiled.

I got out of my chair and logged off of the computer I was working on. I turned my attention to Greg.

"Greg can you give me Austin's last location point, before his channel was cut out."

Greg looked up from his screen. "Sure." He replied happily. "It might take a few minutes."

I nodded. That was to be expected. Instead of waiting, I walked out the front door of the building I was just in and saw my Charizard and Mark running towards me.

"Godric people are complaining about Jigglypuff again she keeps on-" I cut Mark off. He was known to ramble. Other people began slowly making their way towards me. It was overwhelming, everyone needed something done and apparently they all thought that I could make it happen. I was only seventeen, there was only so much I could do.

"I'll take care of it later." I promised. "Do you think you would be able to go track down Austin and the girl with me? His system crashed down again, we need someone to go get them. I know it's not according to plan, but it's safer this way." I told him.

"Yeah sure. I'll go find Dragonite." Mark said at the speed of light. I've never met someone who could talk as much as this guy. He zoomed off towards his house to find his partner. I laughed and shook my head. The guy always had so much energy.

"Here you go Godric." Greg handed me a tablet. He began typing on it until a pinpoint of his last known location was pulled up.

I held out my hand to shake Greg's. "Thanks man, it's appreciated."

His face lit up and shook it. Greg turned around and went back inside the small office building to help Aimee.

"Draaaaa!" A large dragon Pokémon landed in front of me with a crash. The ground beneath me shook, my feet wobbled slightly. Mark was laughing.

"Sorry. Still working on the landings." Mark said between his laughs.

I gave him a tired smile and climbed onto Charizard. I pulled the page up on the table again. Charizard flew up, followed by Mark and Dragonite. "Follow me." I said.

Lord Arceus I hope Austin wasn't in any trouble. He sure was good at getting himself into it.

~Amara~

"Dang it, that's the third one."Austin said as he picked up the now, very fried, pen.

"Mind explaining?" I asked.

Austin gave me his famous grin. "Annie back at camp has been having trouble lately getting these pens not to blow up every ten minutes. I'm still wondering how this one lasted so long." He smiled again, wider this time.

Crystal cane trotting back with Pepper in her arms. Austin explained to me that she was probably spooked by the high pitched sound the pen gave off. Apparently only Pokémon like herself could hear it. He told me that it was a device meant for communicating, just disguised as a pen.

"Whoa!" Crystal yelled.

"What?" Austin and I said in unison.

Her tiny hand pointed up towards the sky. Two, dragon like Pokémon were descending in a field not too far from where we are. A mix of emotions crossed Austin's face, some of which I couldn't understand. All I know is that his smile vanished into thin air.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I know them." He replied flatly.

"That's good right?"

"I guess."

I was confused, but followed Austin and Crystal as they made their way to the field. Skarmory came up to walk beside me. Star has really started taking a liking to Skarmory, she walked next to him.

"Austin is that you?" A boy called out.

"Yeah." Austin said faintly. He didn't seem very happy.

When I walked out into the open, two hands wrapped around me tightly. I stiffened as I realized it was a hug. "It's so great to meet you! Why the Silver Man's own daughter it's such an honor. Just wowwww." The guy who hugged me let go.

"Well, that's Mark for ya. He's not too good at making first impressions." Another boy around my age said.

He held out a hand. "Names Godric. The one who almost squeezed you to death is Mark. That's my Pokémon, Charizard, and Dragonite over there. He's Mark's partner." I shook his hand.

"Hi. I'm Amara." I said.

Godric grinned. He had perfectly straight teeth. Dark brown hair sat on top of his head with matching brown eyes. He was similar to Austin in height, but more lean. I would guess that he was around seventeen, maybe eighteen.

Mark had blonde hair with a pair of bright blue eyes. Much brighter than mine at least. He seemed to be very energetic, most definitely not shy. He was much smaller than the guys. He seemed more nerdy than buff. He was definitely akward, but seemed easy to approach.

"And who would this little kiddo be?" Godric asked as he kneeled in front of Crystal.

She place a hand on her hip, popping it out. "Little kiddo?" She mocked Godric. Pepper turned her nose up in the air, mimicking her trainer's attitude.

Godric look surprised and stood back up. He grinned and laughed slightly. "Sorry kid- er, what's your name?"

"Crystalae." She said while flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"Well, it's nice to meet you."

She glared and walked back to me. She wrapped her hand around my arm.

"Not to ruin the mood or anything, but it's almost dark. You know how Lorena gets when we fly at night." Mark said.

"Of course." Godric agreed.

I just now looked over at Austin. He's been quiet the whole time. He was looking far off in the distance, thinking. I wondered what was going on in his mind.

"Hey Amara want to ride with me and Dragonite?" Mark asked.

"Um, I'll ride with Skarmory."

"I think he's got his hands full, or should I say wings full." He began to laugh at his joke. I was confused, and unimpressed by his lame joke.

Godric groaned, but smiled at Mark's joke. I looked at Skarmory who sure enough, was carrying Star. She was too weak to fly and needed to be carried. When I looked back, Austin and Godric seemed to be arguing over something quietly. Their voices were low, but I could hear their anger as they talked. I was curious on what it was that they were fighting about.

Crystal ran over to Charizard and climbed on. She giggled as he playfully nipped at her hair. Austin mumbled bitterly under his breath as he stomped over to the Charizard and climbed on along with Godric. Mark hopped on top of his partner and lowered his hand. I grabbed it and pulled myself up on to the Pokémon.

The familiar rush of wind greeted me as the Dragonite flew alongside Skarmory and Charizard. The wind whipped my hair wildly, but I didn't care.

I was truly happy.

~Austin~

This was it.

Once we got back at camp, I wouldn't be able to see much of Amara anymore. She would go off, train, and get ready for what would happen next. She needed to lead and I needed to follow. I wasn't to be by her side the whole time. I barely qualified to bring her to camp. It was out of the question for me to be with her when we got back.

Hundreds of people at camp would be gawking at her, she was the Silver Man's daughter after all. Mark's reaction to meeting her would be nothing compared to what the rest of the people at the Resistance would say and do when they meet her.

I wouldn't even cross her mind as she saves the world.

Godric tried to talk to me after I argued with him earlier. I wasn't in the mood. We spent the rest of the hour flight in silence.

~Amara~

"No...way." I gasped. Mark chuckled and nodded wildly as he saw my reaction the the Resistance camp.

I looked below us to see green grass. Not brown and dead, but real green grass. It was alive. I couldn't contain my smiles. Crystal and Pepper were staring in awe as we approached the camp.

As we got closer, and Dragonite began dipping lower towards the ground, I noticed things moving. There were Pokémon, and hundreds of them. All shapes and sizes, all alive. They roamed around the camp freely, not in chains and being led to their deaths. It was amazing. I've never seen anything like it.

Clusters of trees towered above small wooden cabins and other little structures. The trees were filled with leaves, something I wasn't used to. They were beautiful. I was completely awe struck with what I was seeing.

"Hold on, I'm none too good with landing yet." Mark yelled over the wind.

The warning came a bit to late. Dragonite landed heavily on the rich, brown soil. I was thrown off, but I didn't care. I was too happy with everything I saw. I picked myself up and began running around happily. Crystal cheered and rolled down a small, grass covered hill.

I bent down and saw a bright blue plant of some sort. I squatted and stared at it intently, trying to recall what it was.

"That's a flower." Austin said behind me.

I jumped slightly and turned to see Austin staring and grinning at me. He seemed slightly sad, but it was hard to tell with him. He was always smiling, no matter what. It was difficult to know what he was feeling when he wouldn't stop grinning all the time.

He bent down and plucked it from its spot in the ground. "Here." He said as he handed it to me.

I grabbed it gently. "It matches your eyes." He said softly. This time I could definitely hear sadness in his voice. Heat rushed to my face and I could feel myself blushing slightly.

Austin got up and walked away. He left me confused. I suddenly didn't feel as happy as I did a second ago.

I looked back down at the blue flower that was in my hand. Blue meant a lot of things. It could be sadness or it could be like happy, clear blue skies. I didn't know what to feel about this blue.

~Silver Man (six years ago)~

"Skarmory use Flash Cannon." I commanded. I knew it would give us away, Flash Cannon in the middle of the night was pretty noticeable. But that's okay. This is what needed to happen.

In a brilliant flash of blinding light, energy bursted from my partner's mouth. It moved down the row of chain link fence. Jackson stood beside me with determination in his eyes. Charmander was poised for attack.

"Are you ready?" I whispered although there was no point. Whoever was watching definitely saw the Flash Cannon. It didn't matter if I whispered or not.

He nodded nervously in response. I didn't blame him for not answering with words. I knew he was nervous. This was his first time breaking into a farm, it was dangerous, but this is what I lived for.

"Okay, follow me then." I said as I rushed in past the now melted fence.

Dozens of Circle Members poured out of the steel doors, guns out with their safeties switched to off. "Rock Tomb!" I shouted.

Slabs off earth rose from the ground, encasing the soldiers. They were no longer a threat, for now. I continued to run towards the building the soldiers just came from. Jackson and Charmander weren't far behind.

"Now!" I screamed.

Skarmory released waves of black power towards the walls of the prison to hundreds of innocent Pokémon. It was my favorite move, Dark Pulse. Charmander shot mini balls of fire around the dead grass. It was dry and dead, which made it highly flammable. Perfect for what we needed.

When Skarmory was finished, walls no longer existed on the building that was meant to be a jail for the Pokémon who were held deep inside it. On cue, they came out one by one. All free from the dungeon they were held in.

Another success.

"Good job. We need to go." I said wasting no time, I climbed on Skarmory, Jackson hurrying on behind me.

Squad cars of more authorities were already pulling up. They were too late to catch us, just as they always were. They never knew where I would strike next. It's what made this so easy. I came completely unexpected. By the time they knew what was happening, it was already to late for them to do anything. The deed was done.

Just before we sped off into the night, Jackson gave the cops the finger. Then we zoomed off, out of view.

We laughed together. I couldn't have asked for a better partner to share this moment with.

Hey!

Few things, first some of you were wondering what the shipping name was for Austin and Amara. You can all comment what you want it to be. A few of you were saying things like ResistanceShipping, SilverShipping, and a few more. I'm interested to hear what you all come up with!

Next, someone was copying my story. Um I know you read this so your probably reading this too. Just because you change the Circle to the Triangle doesn't mean I won't notice. I'm not trying to be rude, but please stop!

Also yes, I decided to name a character after me because why not? I couldn't think of any other names. I guess that shows how lazy I am.

One last thing, do you guys like seeing the Pov from when The Silver Man was still alive or nah? Let me know if you want to see more of him or who else you would like to hear from (like any other characters.)

That's all my friends. Have a wonderful week and see you back here on Tuesday!
