The sound of a whimpering baby boy could be heard throughout the barrier that was keeping the Hidden Forest village safe from a muscular bare chest demon with grey skin, black patterning, short red hair soulless purple eyes, and two horns sticking out of his hair as well as wearing a golden chain necklace. He was carrying a spear surrounded by purple flames.
This demon was known as Zankoku, the demon well known as the Demon of Cruelty and Hatred, and was brutally attacking the village.
Tears, sweat, and blood streamed down the face of a young mother of a baby born only three months. Emotions spiraled within her as she held back more tears as this cruel demon was killing more and more of her loved ones as she did everything to protect her baby boy.
She squeezed her eyes tightly, reminiscing the day she discovered she was pregnant before any of this had happened. The pink and green-haired woman never expected that something like this would happen three months after giving birth to her baby.
••••
The pink and green-haired woman waited patiently in the medical ward as she waited for the doctor to return after she had left a couple of minutes ago.
Her heart was racing so fast that she thought it would pop out of her chest. She roughly chews the inside of her mouth, waiting to know why she suddenly started to feel sick and nauseous, and then, all of a sudden, she started to feel better.
And not to mention, she found herself putting on weight which was worrisome since that had never happened to her. She then saw a purple-haired lady wearing a doctor's outfit slowly appear in the room her face had a wide smile relieving Mitsuri of her growing worries.
"Congratulations, Mitsuri. You're having a baby!" The doctor said, giving her a closed eye smile.
A surprised look appeared on her face, stunned by the news, making the doctor chuckle.
"Your due date is February 19," The doctor said.
After hearing those words, a large smile appeared on her face and her heart felt warm and fuzzy.

"A child?" Obanai questioned with an expression complex to read with the bandages on his mouth. He then suddenly walked over to Mitsuri and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, looking down at her belly.
"I'm going to be a mother!" She exclaimed with a beaming smile.
"And... I-I'm going to be a father..."
"A mother!" Mitsuri exclaimed louder, this time making it clear to the neighbors that the Iguro clan had a new addition added, a half-blood member, to be specific.
••••
Mitsuri bit her lip until it started bleeding, unable to stop the tears running down her face. Obanai rubbed Mitsuri's back from behind her knowing he would see her in the afterlife.
"It's almost time, Mitsuri...tell him what you want to before we pass," He said, coughing as blood soaked through his bandages and blood ran down his face with slashes through his eyes.
Mitsuri nodded, taking a deep breath because of her crying before starting out in a shaky voice.
"Make sure don't become a picky eater, alright? Eats lots of veggies and fruit so you can grow as big and strong as you can. Also, make sure to wash up every day and stay warm. Don't stay up late. You need your sleep to become strong. Make friends, but only ones you can truly trust. Also, remember, don't be too strict and harsh like your father can. And please don't get depressed if you can't do something right. Remember, you can rely on others," Mitsuri said with a smile coming to her face as she met her child's gaze. Her eyes watered further, seeing his gorgeous turquoise and green eyes.
Once more, a sniff escaped her mouth as she continued to speak."Another thing you will start dating when you're old enough. I want you to pick someone who will watch out for you and comfort you when you are down. I don't care how many girls you fall for as long as they don't break your heart," She explained to her son even if he couldn't understand her, making her heart break even more.
She sniffed before gaining a bit of happiness in her voice."Have a dream and have the confidence to make your dream come true. Because I believe that if you really work hard, that dream will come true..."
Mitsuri slowly started breaking down more, feeling her time going by too fast as she felt herself getting weaker."There's so much I want to pass on to you...b...but I don't have enough time! I wish I could stay longer," The waterfall of tears going faster and faster by the second before saying the thing she really wanted to say and let them know."I...I love you so much...forever...and always and sincerely," She whispered before letting Obanai take his turn, feeling selfish that she took up so much time to talk and left hardly any for her husband.
"What your mother is saying is we love you unconditionally, and there is so much more we want to teach you...but there is not enough time. I love you, Ousei," He wished, placing a hand on his son's chest."Sealing Justu: Triple Serpent seal!" He said as a black seal with three serpents were curled together appeared on his son's chest.
"Goodbye...my precious baby, I wish this tragic event never happened," Misturi whispered as she entered eternal darkness with her husband, leaving the world as the barrier disappeared.
"The barrier it has been taking down!" A blonde-haired man shouted, running towards where he spotted a dead Mitsuri and Obanai next to their son, who was slowly falling asleep.
"It seems that the clan succeeded but didn't make it out alive after sealing the demon inside of the child," A woman with long white hair wearing a purple haori with a bamboo pattern.
"Lady Hina," The man greeted with a bow."What would you like to do with the child?" He asked.
The woman sighed before she responded."The village will never feel safe with the boy. The only option is to get rid of him and send him away to the Hidden Leaf Village. They have plenty of people there who could ensure that seal doesn't come undone."
"I understand. I make sure the Hidden Leaf receives this child," He bowed, picking up the baby boy as he set off for the Hidden Leaf Village.
'It a shame it has come to this little one, but unfortunately faith is not on your side.' He thought gazing at the slumbering baby boy in his arms.
