Chapter 9-- Soleis
Soleis
I purchased my items, all in a kind of tense silence. Raymond was hot. And when I say hot, I mean like smoking. He had this air about him, though, that made me think he was a lot more complicated than he seemed. I have him my number and address, and he did the same. I have him a hug before leaving, and then walked out the door.
I hopped onto my motorcycle and put on my helmet. I turned the ignition and my headlights popped on, illuminating the night. I rode in silence, thinking about what I'm going to tell Pixie in the morning. . . As I rode down the street, I noticed a truck and a scooter were parked on the side of the road. As I got closer, I noticed it was that blue haired girl again, and now she was hugging some guy. I didn't question it. Maybe they knew each other?
I rode home and silently unlocked the door, knowing if a made noise Pixie would be in front of me with a gun pointed to my head in about 7 seconds. I walked to my room, putting down my stuff. I noticed a text from Raymond on my phone,
'Hey, so do you think we could meet up somewhere?' I texted him back,
'Sure. There's this coffee shop down the street from my house, if you wanna meet there.' He sent me a thumbs up emoji, and I sent him a heart and put my phone down. I was finally able to get to sleep, but for what reason, I don't know.
