Aries

I took a deep breath as I stared at my phone. This is it. She is really my soulmate. And I'm meeting her in half an hour.

I put on short shorts, not butt shorts but still short, and a tank crop top. After looking in the mirror, I added a light cream cardigan to go over it. I want to look cute, but not too . . . formal, I guess. Just the better side of casual.

I debate calling Alexa to kill time, but then decide against it. I don't want her to get too excited over something I'm still unsure about.

Instead, I pull out my dusty makeup set and decide to try something.

After a few failed attempts, I decide on some  concealer, light eyeshadow, and pale pink lipstick that goes with my top. I admire myself in the mirror. Nice.

I glance at the clock. I have to meet Soleis! Now! I run and grab my phone and keys, then slip on a pair of flip flops and rush to the garage.

A few minutes later, I'm on my Vespa, heading to the bookstore, Waterstones.

I parked and walked in, looking around for this girl Soleis. How am I supposed to know when I see her? I haven't seen her yet. I take out my phone to text her.

'I'm here, tell me when you get here.'

'I'm about to walk in, are you at the front or?'

'Yeah, I just got inside. '

'K I'll see you in like 10 seconds. WAIT what do you look like?'

'Blue hair, that's probably my most defining trait. What about you?' 

'Ok, gotcha. I'm brunette :P I've got blonde highlights and I'm REALLY short. Like, kid sized. Oh I see you.'

I look up and see her. She has the highlights she says she has, and is short. But not kid short, she still looks mature. Just. . . petite. And, if I have to admit it, kinda cute. But kinda scary at the same time.

Our eyes meet and I smile a little. I put my phone into my pocket as she walks over.
