"Pragya hasn't come home still . Where could she have gone ? Purab will be home in sometime too from his friend's place ..,"Abhi hears Pragya's mom say.

"Auntyji , she didn't inform you before going ?"

"No beta.. I had gone to the market to get some groceries and when I came back she wasn't home . I thought she must have gone somewhere close by and that's why didn't inform me ..otherwise she never goes out without keeping at least one of us informed. I really don't know what to do Abhi.. "

Abhi now starts getting restless. Where could she have gone ?!

Abhi and Bulbul are in Pragya's place and their family was to arrive shortly ,for Purab's birthday surprise .

Just then Purab calls his mom saying he'll be home in half an hour when she tells him that Pragya has gone somewhere but she doesn't know where .

Purab gets tensed but asks his mom not to worry. Just then, Abhi asks Sarla if he could talk to Purab and she gives the phone to him

"Hey Purab ! You also have no idea where she is ?"

"No Bhai I don't know either. I am getting worried, though I told ma not to."

For both of them , Pragya is the first priority .. So Purab's mind didn't register that fact that Abhi was in his house and Abhi also forgot about the surprise for a moment when he asked Sarla aunty to give him the phone.

"Chill Purab.. let's do one thing. I'll go to the Infiniti mall area and you go in the opposite direction. She must've gone to get something maybe. We'll find her".

"Okay bhai I'll leave now from here. Please tell me as soon as you get to know anything. I will also keep you posted"

"Of course Purab I will. Pragya will be fine don't worry"

So both the guys go searching in opposite directions.

While he is driving towards the mall , Abhi hears something about a riot breaking out in that area,on the FM.

He increases the volume to listen properly and gets shocked when he hears that a riot has broken out in the mall area as the leader of some group has been arrested and his supporters are going around breaking and destroying shops and hitting random people. (Purely imaginary guys.. not meant to hurt anyone..)

He prays that his Pragya shouldn't be stuck there and drives faster. He keeps calling her mobile but she doesn't attend the call. He reaches the mall and sees the commotion on the opposite side. His heart skips a beat and fear takes over when he thinks 'What if Pragya is there in one of those shops?'

He parks the car and runs to the opposite side without giving a thought about the danger his life might be in , as the only thought in his mind is to find Pragya , his love, his life. He runs around the area frantically, somehow managing to escape from those people and that's when his eyes fall on a girl with a black dress and a red belt around her waist ,hair in a french braid and her back towards him,peeping out of one of the windows , probably thinking of how to escape.

He slowly goes and keeps one hand on her shoulder. The girl freezes at his touch thinking it to be one of those supporters and slowly turns with fear written all over her face. But the moment she sees who is in front of her, she hugs him tight not wanting to let him go.

Abhi is elated that he finally found Pragya and he hugs her back and makes sure that she is fine . He then takes her hand in his and runs as fast as he can towards the car before they could get hurt. They had to get out of there ASAP- all the talk that needed to be done can wait.

He makes her sit in the car and drives for around fifteen mins in silence. Pragya , who is quite shaken by the whole episode , remains quiet too but wonders how and why Abhi was there.

'Maybe he was scared for his friend that's all. But why did his eyes try to convey something else when he saw me there ? Does he love me too?.. ' she is lost in her thoughts when Abhi stops the car in a lonely highway.

He gets down, comes to Pragya's side and makes her come out. The moment she stands and closes the door he hugs her again to assure himself that she is indeed alright and in his arms. That is when he gets reminded of how she hadn't informed anyone and gets angry. Pragya is stunned with the hug and after a while hugs him back not knowing what to do.She is surprised when he pulls back suddenly and looks angry.

"How can you be so careless Pragya?! Why didn't you inform anyone about where you are going? What were you doing here ? Why didn't you tell ME at least ? I would've come with you ! What if something had happened to you ? Why did you not attend my calls? Do you have any idea what I was going through, when that FM guy told about the riots in this area and how violent it was getting? I thought I might lose you !"

Pragya doesn't know what to reply at his outburst.. 'Why is Abhi getting so hyper?. Seriously..So much concern..'

She tries to console him.

"Abhi ! Abhi look I am sorry. I really didn't know these riots were going to break out because when I reached here everything was okay. I ad ordered a platinum bracelet for chote's b'day and I came to get that . Ma had gone to the market and I thought it'll take only half an hour maximum , so left without informing her. Papa was in the hospital so I didn't want to disturb him. I thought you will be busy so didn't tell you either and I obviously couldn't tell chote because this is a surprise. I really didn't know you will be so upset and I am very very sorry. I didn't hear my phone with all the commotion that was going on, so i couldn't attend your call either. See I am standing right here and i am perfectly fine. You came at the perfect time and saved me..Thankyou ! Please relax"

Abhi hears all that and realises that he had lost his cool and shouted at her.

"Pragya look I am sorry..I didn't mean to shout at you. I was just so worried.I love you Pragya and I cannot stand anything happening to you ! Promise me that you will not leave me alone ever again and you will inform me wherever you go. I will come with you".

Pragya's jaw dropped at his confession . 'Abhi LOVES me !!!! But how ?! I mean from when ? I have been dreaming about this day for so long and here he is , standing before me and confessing that he loves me !'

Pragya still has her mouth open and Abhi wants to lighten the situation He knows she is in her own world and opens the door to get the water bottle..

Pragya senses water being poured into her mouth and she comes out of her dreamland and starts coughing.

"Abhii!!! What was that for ?!"

"You had your mouth open for so long so I thought you were shy to ask me water as I just confessed to you and all that,so I thought I'll help you , even without you asking ".

"Arghh! People should learn how to ruin a perfect romantic moment from you , Abhi !"

"You look so cute when you get angry , cutie!"

"Cutie? Aww and are you serious ? You LOVE me ? "

"I am serious Pragya and I do love you and only you"

Pragya is not able to believe her ears and she wants to vent out her feelings before she bursts out of happiness..

"Woohooo" she shouts and does a fist punch in the air,runs around the car.. comes back and does a quick dance to some song that she hums,then gets tired with all the running around and stands holding her knees gasping for air.

Abhi is amused to see this avatar of his cutie and laughs at her antics..

"Wow , now that was something ! "

"I am just Extreeemely happy Abhi !! Kabse is pal ka Intezaar tha! I just never thought it will happen for real ! Oh my God, YOU LOVE me !!! Yayyy!"

"It is happening for real darling" , Abhi says and leans in , cups her face and places a soft kiss on her lips. Pragya's eyes open wide in shock at the sudden contact, but then she responds too and they pull apart after they become breathless .

(If Pragya had been in a supermarket now, some aunty would've taken Pragya home along with her, because at that moment, she resembles a tomato with her blushing red face ;))

"Aren't you supposed to atleast reply saying you love me too at this point ?"

Praggs is so happy that she doesn't want to do anything the normal way today , so she looks at him and starts singing..

Abhi lifts her up and twirls her..She holds his shoulders for balance and now both of them sing, looking into each other's eyes..

They end with this and Abhi slowly puts her back on the ground and hugs her , again.

"You sing quite decently . Gudiya can train you I guess"

"Oh thankyou Mr. Boss and you are not bad yourself"

"Her influence maybe.Have you heard her sing? God its magical!"

"Oh yes I have and now I can hear her sing, even daily if I want to.And by the way, I love you and I promise that I won't leave you alone and will always keep you informed of my whereabouts. And just so you know, You have been my crush from like forever "

"Really ? And I am one lucky man ! How many people will get the chance to marry their biggest fan? I was actually about to propose to you today evening after the party in some nice restaurant and here we are, in the middle of the road , confessing our undying love for each other"

"Haha .Wow I have been so ignorant .I just always thought you will never have any feelings for me and you just consider me a very good friend. I was scared to propose to you as I didn't want to lose the bond we shared..But really,from when did you start liking me?"

"Ya same reason why I took so long to propose too. But our families rock!And guess it was Love at first sight for me..I started liking you from the first time I set my eyes on your pic"

"Ya remember your awesome first mail ? Happened to see the thumbnail image beside your mail ID... Your eyes and your smile Oh god !..You should ask my MV how I was feeling"

"MV ?"

"Oh my mind voice . Only he knows all the emotions that I underwent every time I had to reply to/ talk to you."

"Oh my God.. so even you were nervous, excited, had butterflies and all at the same time ?"

"Of course! MV told me these exact words once, when I was thinking about why I was thinking so much to ask you about Gudiya's wish, before that first Skype ping "

Pragya nods and attends the call..

MV: "Ya. your bride- to- be , skipped the usual emotional part that girls follow , when someone proposes to them. so I decided to do that in response for your sweet proposal"

"Aww MV you are so nice ! Friends ?"

MV: "If that means we won't argue about things and be nice to each other, then NO "

"Oh come on ! I even proposed to cutie just like how you always wanted me to.."

MV: "That's true. Okay I am kind of emotional now so will not be able to take rational decisions. I will let you know once I decide "

"Abhi.. Chote asked when we are coming..We should leave. Surprise, remember ?"

So, Abhi and Pragya go home.. Purab is already there .. though his birthday surprise didn't work out as planned, Abhi's proposal to Pragya came as a surprise to both the families. Everyone was overjoyed and wished and hugged each other and decided to go to Hyatt for dinner..The Mehras and the Aroras have a memorable evening.
