I wake up, and the first thing I do is run toward the restroom and vomit. I take my pajamas off and shower. I wrap a towel around me when I realize I only had my pajamas with vomit. I hurriedly walked to my room and did not even look toward the couch where Beta Zane was sitting. I go into my bedroom and get dressed. I sit on the bed and pull the frames out of the bag. I place a couple of frames on the bedside tables. I leave the bedroom and place the other frames around the cottage. Once they are all placed, I walk to the kitchen. There is a plate with toast, scrambled eggs, and a cup of tea. Then a note,

"Jocelyn,

This is what my mom ate after her morning sickness. When I realized you were getting sick, I made your breakfast. Once you were getting dressed in your room, I threw yesterday's clothes and your pajamas in the washing machine."

Oh, my goodness, he saw me dash and get sick and then come back to the room in just a towel. How embarrassing. I then go back to reading the letter.

"I am right now patrolling the area. I will be back about lunchtime. Take it easy today. I will make lunch when I am done.

Alpha said he took care of switching all your classes to online. The university knows you were in the hospital. They think you were in an accident.

They will be emailing the assignments you missed the past three weeks. This week is the final's test week. They will officially have you start online next week. The school will be emailing you your online schedule.

On top of your desk are instructions on how to sign into your student portal and how you will access your assignments. The laptop is in the top drawer of the desk.

I laid the note down. I ate my breakfast and washed my dishes. I then drink a second cup of tea and pull the computer out of the top drawer. I look and see the second drawer has all my books and notes. The third drawer is full of various school supplies. On the corner of the desk is a scanner and printer. Plus, a desk lamp. I place the laptop on the desk and read the instructions about accessing the student portal.

I access the portals. I read notes from various classmates and teachers. Many teachers had just copied their class syllabus into the schedule already. I decided I would start with my Monday classes and scan the homework to them that I had completed before the rape. I started reading to catch up with that first Monday's class.

It was about 11:30. I stopped working on Monday's classes and went to make four grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, and tossed salad and place a bag of Oreo cookies on the table. I make myself another cup of tea and a pot of coffee for Beta Zane. Just as I am flipping the grilled cheese, Beta Zane walks in. He washes his hands, and I put the food on the table.

Beta Zane says, "Thank you, but I told you I would make lunch. Starting tonight, pre-made meals will be dropped off here daily. Just to let you know, about 1/4 mile from here is the stream that divides our territory from Mountain Moon Pack. This puts you in the very center of three large territories. There are no noman areas within 45 miles of this location. You are within 20 miles of three pack houses. They have a three-bedroom house that they will have us Betas use on the other side of the river. We will be living just two miles away. None of us will be staying here on your couch like I did last night. They also will have warriors patrolling this area from all three packs. Learn their scents. I will be sure to get a group photo of them in human and wolf form so you recognize them on-site. I will place it inside and tape it to the laundry room door. These cabins were made so that windows and doors could not be broken in. This was the cabin the alpha planned to bring his mate, but she passed before they met." I looked at him, startled. "Shit, he did not want anyone to know he felt their break as a teenager before shifting. He was going to look for a second chance, mate, but hasn't made time for it."

He cleared his throat, "If you need any of us, this phone can only call the three alphas or betas. Alpha Solomon placed their numbers and the doctor's number on this phone." He pulls a phone out of his pocket and puts it down by me. "He has locked out all other numbers."

"Heaven forbids anyone to try to contact me. He is a real jackass. Solomon one day will regret he ever did this. That shithead better hopes I forgive him."

Beta Zane shakes his head. "The computer you might have noticed is locked and can only go to the school website. It also gives you access to the online libraries. You cannot get on any social media sites. There is a school messenger that is between teachers and students. Just so you know, all your messages also go to the alpha, but the student board heard he was going to have access. They are filing a complaint on your behalf. Not sure how long he will have access to it."

"Good, I know members on that board."

"He is taking you being shunned very seriously. He is very pissed you are not calling him alpha but referring to me as Beta Zane. For any school supplies you need, you will have to text message him. If you need access to a blocked site for school research other than the supernatural library, you must request he unlocks it. He also said if you need any supplies restocked, let him know. He would like the list sent to him on Friday morning by 8:00 am and will arrange delivery on Friday at 4:00 pm when the pack midwife will come to examine you."

"Guess Solomon will make me communicate with him because he did not like hearing. I will shun him," I replied.

Beta Zane said, "After I leave here, I will only talk to you if he sends me here. When I am on patrol, I am not to acknowledge you. Now that I have told you this, I need to go." He stands up, "Just so you know, I disagree with this, and the Alpha knows it. The meals will be dropped off at 8 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm. He will have your mom check the menus to make sure it is the food you like." He hugs me and walks out the door. "Just before he shut the door he called back, "Make sure the list includes all snacks too. I know my mom always had cravings." He shut the door.

I have a tear run down my face. I wipe it off and go clean up lunch dishes. Then go back to finish all of Monday's work. I start on Tuesday's class assignments. I get up and go to the restroom. I see a note sitting on the sink.

After you read this note, destroy it. There are microphones in your bedroom and the living room. Outside the house are cameras. This way, alpha can keep tabs on you. Plus, he will know if anyone tries to see you. He does dislike jazz and hard rock. You can play that on the radio, and he will turn it off.

Through school messages, contact your communication professor. He might be able to get you information about your legal options. His dad was on the supernatural committee but is semi-retired, and now his brother is on it. Plus, his uncle. But as I said, you did not hear that from me. Watch how you word things since he can check what you post unless the student council gets him blocked.

I read this note several times and then tore it into tiny pieces. I lit the candle in the bathroom and burned the parts—then flushed the ashes down the toilet.

I leave the restroom and move the clothes from the washer to the dryer.

I went back to the computer and signed into another class, and watched the recordings of the class teachers' presentations for that Tuesday. Then I started doing the homework for those classes.

I had no classes on Wednesday. I opened up my communication class. This would be my Thursday online class.

My other Thursday class was my elf defense one class. I saw that my defense instructor sent me videos of the missed classes. I was told to study them but could not do them until the doctor cleared me that my grade would be a B+ based on my grade before my accident.

I opened up a classroom notebook for my online assignments. Professor Coleman had written me a get-well note. He was working to adjust my lessons to meet my needs since I would not be now to do the group project. I decided to write to him since his class assignment started all this.

I am making this paper look like an assignment but a letter.

I know I have missed the last three weeks of your class. Now I am in online courses. The Friday after the speech debate, I was ordered home to the pack by Alpha Solomon Brahams. I did not make it home. Solomon informed the school I was in an accident and hospitalized. I want you to know that is not true.

I left school to run home and was attacked by an unknown pack. They kept me blindfolded and tied up. They tried to hide their pack scent of Juniper Evergreens and Granny Smith apples, but I still picked it up. I will stress they were not rogue. They were Pack.

I was found a couple of weeks later by my pack. I had been drugged and was out for several days. I discovered I was pregnant from their attacks. Yes, I was raped by many during my captivity. The rape happened because of the debate. They talked about women not supposed to fight. Though in my mind, if I had more training, I could have prevented their attack. Though I doubt I could have taken out at least four independently. Later, when they got careless using scent begone, I could identify various scents. I figured there were at least nine scents I would never forget.

My alpha wanted me to eliminate abominations since it is not a mate pup. He wanted to enact a barbaric rule of non- mate's pups getting aborted, but I am fighting to keep them. Yes, it is them. I am expecting two boys and a girl.

I refused to abort. Now I am being kept in a cabin on the edge of three-pack territories and shunned. It is by the river where their territories meet. My alpha asked Alphas Farro and Harness' pack to help guard my cabin after the pack Doctor did an ultrasound and discovered I was pregnant with triplets. He said, based on the size of pups, I have an Alpha, Beta, and Delta pup in me. This means it was a pack attack and not a rogue attack. According to his report, rogue pups, no matter the previous ranks, come out like gamma ranks. Which means they would not be in the top three positions.

Solomon plans to find out who did this to me and go to the werewolf council to get control of the pack. He wants to enact the old penalty for rape. Have them demoted, stripped of power. Have their power given to him, and he is named guardian of my pups. Then the guilty would be tortured until death occurs. He said he would split the land with the other alphas if they helped.

It was suggested I contact the supernatural council to stop this barbaric practice. I was told to use your family connections.
