Week 22

Goliath called on Sunday, "Jocelyn, the council will not be in session this week."

"What? You realize I must go before the council before these pups are born, or I get stuck under old rules. The sperm donor families could take them from me even if their dads are not there."

"I will call for an emergency hearing if you enter labor before that. You should be getting a notice to appear for justice to be served on the nine people?"

"Nine? Did they decide to prosecute the other two people? The courts said the younger one would get counseling since he was the only witness and contacted my packs to say where I was. Then the other hasn't had the case reviewed on him yet."

"Yes, and they both have pleaded guilty to partial participation. The courts say they will be charged with just the kidnapping, not the raping. According to testimony, those two only did the kidnapping but left the area when they saw what was going on. They both had just had their first shift. They must give their official guilty plea and judgment handed down from the courts. The courts have not yet given out their punishments. They have only been found guilty."

"I meant what I said; I don't want to witness their punishments."

"You will have to see what the judge says. Now tomorrow, your full security detail will escort you to the courthouse. Do not disappear again. Several packs will be there, and we don't know how they will react. Be alert for trouble."

"Ok, see you tomorrow." Jocelyn was served her paper to appear for sentencing about 30 minutes later. Goliath managed to talk the council into doing the new members swearing in and go right into their first case. Once the guilty had sentencing handed down since time sensitivity was the issue on laws being changed.

The following day Jocelyn woke up. She showered and got dressed. She ate breakfast with her guard and headed to the council building. Outside she saw several wolves. She did not know who they were, but their scents were juniper and green
apple. She looked at them, and about half bowed their heads to her. The other half was growling or sneering at her.

Luna Victoria Branson walked up the steps and did a large growl. "This is enough. We have had enough shame brought to our family packs because of my mate. He has been allowed to beat me, cheat on me, and raise my sons to disrespect women. I will not allow this to go on anymore. He tried to kill me, and if not for one of Alpha Jocelyn's guards, I would be dead.  Today, I stand here sealing justice for your future alpha. If you growl and disrespect her or me anymore, I will turn you over to the Lycan for justice. There are some of you here today that participated in my mate's illegal activities, and I have signed off an immunity paper for you. However, if anything happens to myself, Jocelyn, or our future leader's pups, I have given Lycan Cerberus a copy of all my mate's books. Here is your choice: behave or be prosecuted. The immunity papers become null if anything happens and trace back to you."

Victoria looked at Jocelyn, "Please proceed inside, and can you let me sit by you? We can give each other support. Plus, I wanted to talk to you about the counseling you have gotten."

Jocelyn looked at her and said, "I will save you a seat." She walked inside, and they directed her to a coliseum behind their building. The handing down judgment would be there instead of the courthouse. This way sentence would begin right away.

She was led to a balcony. Her guards were standing along the steps. From the steps, they could see what was happening below and be alert for any trouble. Soon Alpha Bruno, Alpha Solomon, Alpha Goliath, and Luna Tiana joined her. Then about a minute before they opened the gate for the general public to join, she had Luna Victoria join her.

Over the intercom, "Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to take your seat. Please hurry toward the middle and leave no spaces between you and the person next to you." Everyone started to take their seats. Soon you saw Lycan walk in and take seats on the outside rows, and standing in the aisle. Next, you saw elves standing on the upper tier holding their bows.

The judge walked to his high spot and spoke, "We had seven werewolves found guilty of kidnapping and raping. We found one werewolf guilty of attempted rape and kidnapping, and the 9th was just kidnapping. One of the nine has been prosecuted for the murder of Beta Zane and the attempted murder of Luna Victoria. Two were charged with assault and attempted manslaughter of their alpha, but those charges were dropped and changed to defense of their Luna. We have had two wolves come back and appear today. They are minors who did participate in the kidnapping. We need to decide their judgment today."

Jocelyn stood up, "The two minors, I do not recognize their scents. I will ask, given their age, that instead of prison that they be sent into a counseling program. According to the others, the youths left and flew back home. The main thing they are guilty of is not reporting it. Though one did sneak a letter in the mail announcing where  I was. However, considering who their family is, I can see why they were scared. While in counseling, they also get assigned community service."

She then sat down, and Luna Victoria stood up. "The last few days, I have dealt with several youths their age coming to me. Plus, she-wolves are coming to me. This morning I requested Alpha Jocelyn to put me in contact with her counselors. I want to set up a counseling facility in our area. Have the two boys be part of it instead of under Alpha Goliath."

The judge looked at them, "Have you talked to the alpha whose counselors are assigned to? Would they even be interested in such a task?"

Alpha Goliath stood up, "Counselors Marilyn and Cassandra are part of my pack. It was while Jocelyn was there that she was placed in counseling. I can assure you they would be willing to go and set up such a facility. I can even suggest a place where it could be set up. The abandoned storage facility where Jocelyn was found is next to an abandoned hotel that went out of business about ten years ago. I am willing to donate $100,000 toward renovations of the building. We turned the hotel into a counseling facility and the old storage facility into a youth center. The boy's community service could be to help renovate that building."

Then many others stood up and pledged anywhere from $5,000 to $250,000. Jocelyn teared up. They soon had $5,000,000 in donations and nine different contracting companies volunteering to do it at cost.

The judge stood up, "I hear-by approve the motion of the zSupernatural Counseling School and Youth Center. "

He then looked at the two young wolves, "You two are lucky to have two forgiving She-wolves to give you a chance. You will be assigned under Lycan Cerberus and report to him monthly. If any time before your 21st birthday you slip up, then you will be placed in the Lycan prison. If you stay out of trouble, these marks will be removed from your permanent records. Do you understand?"

Their pale faces looked at the judge, and they said, "Yes, sir." Then they looked at Jocelyn and Victoria, "Thank you. You won't regret it."

The judge said, "Now, onto the next part of the judgment. Please bring out the seven wolves found guilty. They came out. Their legs, arms, and necks were shackled to a moveable board. "They were sentenced to the maximum sentence. I understand that Alpha Sommers has requested not to witness phase one of the sentences. We did have others come forward after her testimony to state they also were raped by these men in their pack. Phase one of the punishment is these wolves will all be made into eunuchs. We will ask those who do not wish to be present for the part of the sentence to depart. We ask Alpha Jocelyn to report tomorrow at 10 am for phase two of their sentence."

One of the werewolves from Crimson Blood called out, "The supernatural council has not yet approved her being named alpha. Stop calling her Alpha."

The judge growled, "The court has named her an Alpha. Legally she is an alpha declared by this wolf court. It is by this court we honestly stand unless the council votes to override this court's decision.

I heard through rumors that Alpha Jocelyn wondered what would happen if she had the pups before the supernatural council decided. If they do not cast their vote within 30 days of when the sentence is cast, then it is legally binding. Then they have to apply to change the ruling if they so desire.  Though they are scheduled to resume after this punishment is carried out," he glared at the one who yelled out.

"Next person who disrupts the sentencing with an outburst will be given a $500 fine and 100 community service hours at the counseling building. If violence breaks out, then you will be arrested and put in Lycan prison for a minimum of 6 months."

He looked over the crowd again, "Alpha Jocelyn, I understand under your condition that for the pup's health is better for you not to witness this part of the sentence. Whom do you wish to represent you for this part of the hearing?"

Jocelyn looked surprised and did not realize she needed to choose someone. She was surprised when Frank said, "I, Beta Frank Falcon of Cayenne Mountain Pack, will represent her." He looked at her, "I know I wronged you, and our bond is gone, but I am willing to represent you and see justice is carried out in this instance. Will you accept?"

She nodded her head yes. She then stood and departed the building.

Beta Frank stepped forward, "As Alpha Jocelyn's representative, I am to witness and oversee this sentence be given out. I overheard that others came forward that had been assaulted and raped by these dogs." All of a sudden, three of the former alphas growled. Frank turned and looked them in the eye. "Once again, I call you low-down mangy dogs." They growled again. Frank walked up to them, "You can growl all you want, but you disgrace the honor of a werewolf. Hell, it might even be insulting to dogs, but I am trying to be polite in this court."

Ex-Alpha Xavier growled, "You're just upset because I am the one who got to pick her cherry." Beta Frank drew back his arm and swung it into his stomach."

He then stepped back. "I have spoken to 7 wolves who requested they carry out phase one of your punishment. I admit I had hoped Alpha Jocelyn would let me represent her today. Will they please step forward? Out walked seven she-wolves. They were all wearing the grim female version of executioner costumes. They all were carrying a very sharp battle axe. They all stepped up and stood by Frank in a row.

Seven Lycans carried out logs that were cut to waist height.  They stood behind the female dress in the male version of the executioner.

Then three other women came out wearing a mask and a black cape. They rolled the prisoner wall that now had Terrance chained to it. One of the women spoke, "Alpha Terrance, the night I met my mate, you locked him in a silver cage and raped me before him. It took us several months to get over it."

Each of the other two she-wolves gave an account of what he did to them. Then the one carrying the blade went and stood in front of him. She pulled her mask off her head. People from his pack gasp. She snarled, "You were like my older brother. You took away my childhood after my mom and dad died when I was ten. You were 14 and evil then. You came into my room one night and tore my pajamas off me, and raped me. You said if I ever told anyone, you would do the same to my two younger sisters. I kept my bargain. Once you were found guilty of what you did to alpha Jocelyn, I went to Lycan Cerberus and told him about you. Then told him about how you even let your blood cousins rape me. I now know you cannot get my younger sisters, so I requested to carry out your punishment."

She then spit in his face. She turned toward the other ladies, and they went and ripped his clothes off. The Lycan then carried the log forward. He set it down in front of Terrance. One of the women came and lifted his shaft on the wood. He then slammed her hand down hard on it. He whimpered and started sweating. Then the three in the black robes and masked step back. "Brother, I condemn and carry out phase one," she snarled. She swung the battle axe down, and his shaft detached and rolled off the wood. He screamed in pain and passed out. Then Fourth of the she-wolves turned and walked out of the Coliseum. "One said now he can never rape anyone else."

The crowd was quiet. No one cheered when the sentence was carried out. Some were feeling nauseous by the time they got to Alpha Xavier Branson. No other woman came out. The Lycan rolled him to the front. They ripped off his clothes and placed his shaft on the wood. This she-wolf came to the front. She nodded her head, and a screen dropped down behind the seven men. The screen started showing pictures. It showed bruises all over the woman's body. All that she wore was underpants and a bra. A male voice recording, "Tonight I was called into the hospital. I went into the examination room. A she-wolf was writhing and screaming in pain. I turned on the camera and started taking pictures for evidence if the she-wolf would decide to press charges. The nurse and I carefully undressed her. We left her underwear and bra on. We watched bruise after bruise form. I knew what I was seeing then. It was a mate betraying his mate."  You could hear gasps in the crowds. "She was in the hospital for nine days. We kept sedating her. This last photo shows what she looked like at the end. Never once in the nine days did her mate check in on her."

Luna Victoria pulled off her mask and her wig. "It was bad enough that for years you kept beating me." She looked at the crowd. "I once had a twin sister. One day went running with our mate. Yes, we shared the same mate. She slipped and fell off the trail they ran on. He blamed himself for her death. When he came back, we mourned together, but slowly he began to lose it. He started beating me because I lived, and she did not. I learned to dislike my mate. We had a love-hate relationship, but he committed the ultimate betrayal. He raped a she-wolf. I felt him as he took her repeatedly. " she turned toward him and swung the axe down. She turned and faced the crowd, "This will be what happens to anyone who rapes another. This sort of action stops now." She drops the axe and walks toward the exit. At the door, she turns back toward the group, "As my last official act as Luna Branson. I, Luna Victoria Branson, reject Alpha or Ex-Alpha Xavier Branson of all the Crimson Packs. The reason for said rejection is he broke one of our most sacred of beliefs- he cheated on his mate and raped an innocent." She then walked out and slammed the door behind her before she passed out.
