I realised that I haven't done any chapters from Levy's POV... Do you guys want next chapter to be from her POV?

Or maybe I'm doing that on purpose... ;)

Gajeel's POV

The Hibiki guy was refusing to let anyone look at his injury, I couldn't blame him whenever he moved his arm he was howling in pain.

"Let Juvia see your wound, Juvia will help you."

"No! No, I'm okay..."

"Hibiki! You're anything but okay!" A small blonde guy yelped. "One of those things-,"

"He'll be okay." The other guy with them interrupted. "Hibiki will get through this."

"He won't if Gray keeps driving like there's a speed limit! Gray! Hurry up!" I yelled towards the drivers seat. My motion sickness was slowly killing me.

"..."

"Eh?"

"..."

"Who did I expect to talk now?"

I looked over to my right and saw Levy holding her head in her hands and... Crying?

"Levy? I mean, Officer McGarden?"

She looked up at me, wiping her eyes.

"What do you want Redfox?"

"Were you, crying?"

"N-No. Of course not." She said straight-faced...for two seconds. Then she started crying again. "Don't tell anyone you saw me cry... Please."

I nodded, and handed her a tissue from the first aid kit. She took it and wiped her eyes.

Fuck, who was that guy to her?

When we were back at HQ, Juvia and Gray took Hibiki to the medical bay, whereas I followed Levy who was leading the other two to Makarov's office.

"Thanks, you know you're pretty for a thirteen year old." The small blonde winked at Levy.

She turned to face him slowly, a weary smile on her face. "You're a bit young to be a pervert aren't you? You're smaller than me, if I'm thirteen then you must be six."

That shut him up.

"We're here." Levy opened the door for the two and spoke to Makarov from outside. "These are two of the members from the Blue Pegasus away team. The other is in the medical bay."

Then she stumbled away, her right hand over her mouth and her left over her stomach. I followed her to see if she was alright.

I followed her from a distance, making sure she couldn't see me. She entered the library and I heard a loud sob.

Not caring if she yelled at me, I walked in and hugged her.

"Hey Shrimp. I know I shouldn't be a nosey person with you but," I released her from the hug and kneeled down so that we were eye level. "Who was that guy?" I asked as calmly and as nicely as possible.

"He wa- IS Droy. One of my best friends..." She sniffed. "My other friend is Jet."

"Not your boyfriend then?"

She looked at me as if I had something on my face. "Jealous? You sure fall in love fast."

"No, you just seemed really upset. So I assumed it was your boyfriend."

Yeah, yeeeeaaaaaahhhh.

Wait, who the hell is this?!

Your mind.

Nope. I'm not a psycho.

Yeeeaaaaahhhh you are.

"Redfox?"

"Sorry, so he's - I mean was your best friend and now he's dead."

"I think there's some foul play." Levy stated. "He wouldn't just... Turn. You'd have to get bitten... He was always so careful... Someone must have done something to cause him to get bitten."

"Foul play? What is this?! A murder mystery?"

"Maybe so... Watson." She smirked.

"Oh hell no. I'm Sherlock if anyone. I have the black hair. I am a guy."

"How do you know I'm not a guy... I'm not by the way." Levy sniggered. (I'm never using the word sniggered again...)

"Okay then..." I took a deep breath and tried to get out of my head the idea that Levy could've been a dude...

"I'm not!! Gee, are all guys this thick?"

"It's not nice to call somebody thick."

"Oh, sorry."

"Wow. Who the hell are you?"

"Huh?"

I stared into her deep brown eyes which were brown like a leaf falling in autumn.....forget you read that.

"Usually you're horrible to everyone. Why did you suddenly say sorry?"

She tensed up for a moment, then relaxed.

"Before, all this," the made a huge motion around the room with her hands, "I was a huge bookworm, a huge nerd, basically a huge loser. When the zombies showed up I thought, 'Hey, I know how to kill zombies. This'll be a new me then!' So I changed and didn't take any crap from anyone."

She sniffled and took out a tissue from her pocket.

"So you decided to change along with the world into something cruel?"

Slowly, she nodded.

"It's not a good thing, changing because everything and everyone else is... But I wanted to be stronger, and it was working... Until.... Until...." She burst out crying and grabbed the closest thing to her for comfort.

Which....

Just so happened....

To be me.

She wrapped her arms around me and buried her face into my chest. Her cries were muffled but I heard them loud and clear.

"Shrimp, do you need to get back to your room?"

After a couple of minutes of silence. She nodded and told me where it was.

Right next to the library.

"Alright then, lead the way."

She looked down at her feet then looked at me, silently pleading with her brown eyes.

"Fine. I'll give you a piggyback ride."

(Everyone knows what a piggyback ride is right? If not comment and be like 'what is it?' and someone can explain)

She looked happier when I gave her the piggyback ride.

When we got to her room I put her down so she could walk by herself. She thanked me then entered her room.

"Do you want to come in?" She asked, "but let me warn you, I have self-defence techniques and spiked baseball bats in here if you try anything funny."

I backed away from the Shrimp of a human and shook my head.

"I'm okay, I'll tell Makarov about Droy."

Oops.

She burst out crying again and slammed her door shut. Her loud wails eventually died down, but to make sure that she was okay, I sat down against the wall opposite her room.

I hummed to myself and sang a little, I got bored.

"Shoo-be-do-bop!" I sang quietly so only I could hear it.

"Gajeel? What're you doing outside of officer Levy's room?" I jumped up and saluted at Mira-Jane.

"Making sure that the officer was alright Ma'am!"

"Hee hee! Why would you need to do that?" Her happy expression suddenly turned dark. "Did you make her cry?"

"No, well yes, umm... It's complicated Ma'am."

"Oh," her death glares vanished and she nodded. "Sorting out your relationship, I get it."

"Wha-?"

"He's not my boyfriend Mira!" Levy yelled from within her room. "There's something going on in the HQ!"

"Oh, aside from your relationship probl-,"

"Droy was a zombie out there." Levy called out.

Mira-Jane stopped talking and her face turned serious again. She faced me and crossed her arms.

"Officer Redfox, did you see the zombified Droy outside?"

I nodded.

"Shoot. What the hell is going on?" She saluted me and Levy's door. "I'll alert Makarov of the matter. You two will be called in for questioning later. Who else could've seen him?"

"The Blue Pegasus guys, and maybe Gray and Juvia." I told her.

"That's all. Okay then. Goodbye Officers." With that, the demon called Mira-Jane left.

"I'm gonna head back to my room now Levy okay?" I quietly called into her room. "I need to get some sleep after today."

"Okay... Thank you."

I wandered down the hallway, smiling that one of the toughest people here had opened up to me.

"Guess I'm not as scary as Phantom Lorde thought I was." (I don't know how to spell things anymore okay.)

Time skip to middle of the night - sponsored by tacos

I woke up suddenly to the sound of an alarm. My alarm clock read 00:28, what could possibly be going on?

"GET UP! GET UP!" A voice yelled from outside my room. "GRAB WEAPONS! THERE'S BEEN A BREACH!"

Jumping out of bed I realised that I was only wearing boxers.... Ah.

I grabbed a black t-shirt and some trousers then shoved on my black combat boots. After that, I grabbed the small handgun which I had taken out the day before and cautiously opened my door.

"Grrrraaaaghhh." I was met by a zombie, who had a similar face to one of the Blue Pegasus guys.

*BANG*

One bullet to the head got him down within seconds.

He was the one who tried to hit on Levy.

Levy.

She was probably still in an emotional state after yesterday!

I decided that a leather jacket would protect me a bit from the zombies, so after putting one on, I ran towards Shrimp's room.

But when I got there, she wasn't in.

"REDFOX! GET HERE NOW!" I turned and saw her by the end of the hallway, axing a zombie.

I dashed towards her, shooting any zombie which came into my way.

When I reached her, she pointed to the stairs and told me to get to the roof.

The stairs were small and you could easily fall if you weren't careful.

Crap.
