Laf's POV:

I hear my phone and John's ring at the same time. We both picked up our phones and walked in opposite directions.

"Bonjour?" I asked.

"Hey!" Herc replied.

"What do you want?" I asked with anticipation.

"Can you and John come to Alex's dorm?" 

"Sure! Be there soon."

"Great! See you soon!"

I hung up the phone and about a minute later John walked over to me.

"We have to go to your dorm." I told John.

"I heard, Alex told me." John said. We started to make our way back to the college. We jog down the hall to Alex and John's room, then open the door. Everyone quieted down and stared at us. We froze for a moment, then everyone started mingling again.

Herc pulled Alex out of the room.

"Dude! I'm so nervous! What if he says no?!" Herc exclaims.

"Remember what you told me earlier? He'll say yes!" Alex assures him. They walk back out of the room and Herc raises a glass.

"Can I have everyone's attention?!" Herc shouted. John started smiling and I stood there all confused. The room was quiet.

"I'd like to say a few words before my grand surprise! But before I do that, Alex also has something to announce." He continued.

"Uhh, hi everyone!" Alex stuttered.

"Hi Alex!" John shouted. Everyone stared and giggled at him and he blushed.

"Heh, this actually is about John. I'm ever so thankful for his love and support since Eliza dumped me. So, I would like to ask, will you be my boyfriend?" Alex gushed. John walked over Alex and hugged him. I smiled.
