Alex's POV:

I realized that Eliza was still my girlfriend. I forgot to break up with her when I fell in love with John. She was going to be furious.

"I gotta go take care of something. I promise we can start right where we left off. Not you two though." I winked at John and he blushed.

I left the dorm and walked over to Eliza's. I knocked and heard voices inside. It sounded like Eliza whispering to someone. I walked in and saw someone crawl under the bed.

"Eliza?" I asked in a stern voice. She bolted around to face me, I could tell she was afraid.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"A friend." She replied sounding nervous.

"Why were you hiding them then?"

"We were gonna scare you!"

"Yeah right!" I pushed her out of the way and pulled someone out from under the bed. It was Charles Lee! He had hickeys all over his neck. I stared at Eliza in disbelief. She stared at me with fear.

"I can't believe you! This is over! Goodbye." I finalized. She grabbed my shirt and whispered in my ear.

"You'll be back." She whispered.

"You wish. Besides, I love someone else. And HE actually cares about me!" I shot back. Eliza stared back at me in disbelief.

"He!?" She questioned.

"Yeah. Deal with it." I finished. I started walking to the door and heard a quiet sob. I suddenly froze with what Eliza said next.

"It's John, isn't it." Eliza asked.

"Yes." I replied with sympathy. I don't know why I felt sorry for her? After all, she cheated on me!

"I want to be friends, really I do..." I paused.

"But?" She asked.

"I don't know if I can trust you ever again." I walk out the door and head back to my room. I feel very relieved.
