   Ash was getting extremely nervous. He knew he had to do this. He saw the girls sitting at their usual table. Ash slowly walked towards them. "Hey um Serena and Misty, can I talk to you guys?" Ash asked. "Sure." They both replied.

   They were all standing by the lockers outside of the cafeteria. "I've been meaning to tell you guys something. You see I like both of you guys a lot. I've liked you guys for a while now. I've finally made a decision and it's," Ash paused. The both girls stared in anticipation. "Misty, I choose you." Ash said holding out a bouquet of roses to her. "Will you go out with me?" Ash asked in the sweetest tone. "Of course!" Misty exclaimed as she accepted the roses and her and Ash left Serena behind without even noticing because of all their happiness.

   Serena could not believe what just happened. She didn't understand why her best friend would just forget about her crush on Ash. She was so furious at Misty for just walking away like that thinking that she wouldn't be hurt. The more she thought about it made her more upset. She was losing her best friend and her first love all in 10 minutes. Why was her life falling apart.
