Chapter 7: "Maybe a little worried, just a little"

      "You look at that phone like your life depends on it!" the blond-haired man says to Taehyung, and he just keeps looking at the phone screen.

       "It's just complete madness, everything that's happening right now! Do they not wonder if Jungkook is okay? Are they thinking just about the non-existent relationship between the two of us? Can they be called true fans?"

      Jimin shrugs and then sits down next to him on the couch. Yes, he knows what Taehyung is referring to, but he can't do anything about it. Even though he was more than shocked when the news about Taehyung and Jungkook came out, he realized that this is something common in pop. It is still more than just weird, that the reporters, and even the fans, are more involved in the "taekook" news than in Jungkook's health news. 

      "You know well that such things happen all the time. You can't even smile at another celebrity without getting into trouble. And you carried him in your arms to the car, what did you expect?" Jimin asks somewhat amused, then takes an apple from the table in front of them.

       Taehyung rolls his eyes, then close his phone. There is no point in looking at all the nonsense that is circulating about him now on the Internet. It is best to wait for everything to calm down. 

      "And what should we have done, Jimin? I saw that no one tried to help him, precisely because of the fear of reporters! I couldn't leave him waiting for someone to come and take him to the hospital!"

       "It's still weird. Weren't you the one who had something against Jungkook from the very beginning?" the blond man asks, and the other just looks at him bored.

       "I didn't necessarily have anything with Jungkook. He simply seemed much too rigid and somewhat cold. That doesn't mean I should forget my duties as a human being." the black-haired one comments, then looks at his best friend, more intently. "He was damn light, Jimin. Like I wasn't carrying anything into my arms." he then whispers, and the other frowns subtly.

       "Maybe he was on a diet. You know very well that we also have many days when we have to be on strict diets." Jimin suggests and the other one nods.

       "Maybe."

      Taehyung doesn't understand why he feels that it's not just that. He doesn't understand why he feels like that Jeon Jungkook is hiding something damn dark. And maybe he shouldn't think so much about him, after all, he's only known him for a few days. But he can't help himself. He simply remembers the moment the younger one fainted in front of him. 

       "You seem more than worried about him. Why don't you ask Namjoon hyung if he doesn't know anything about him?"

       The black-haired man thinks for a few seconds, then takes his phone out of his pocket again. They still have about half an hour to rest, and then they have rehearsals again after that. He should relax, not think about a certain boy. It's none of his business anyway. His band collaborates with him, that's all. They are not even friends, they just know each other because of the music.

       "I'm sure he is fine." he says more for himself, and Jimin just bites the apple again.

       Taehyung tries to ignore all the social media tags where he and Jungkook appear next to each other, but while he's looking bored through Instagram, he notices a picture that Jungkook posted a few minutes ago. He has no idea why, but he feels a strange chill in his stomach.

      Maybe he's exaggerating, or maybe he's the only one who can see how tired Jungkook really looks. In addition, two days ago he was in the hospital, is he already back to practice? Wouldn't it be recommended to rest for a few days?  He also looks pale, is it really better?

       "You're kind of staring." Jimin snaps him out of his thoughts, then laughs subtly. "Surely you couldn't ask Namjoon hyung if he knows something?"

       Taehyung takes a deep breath and then looks at his best friend. He is irritated because he knows that Jimin will start to annoy him if he tells him that he is somewhat worried, for no reason. But yes, he has to admit that he doesn't like the fact that Jungkook has left the hospital and is already at practice. He does not really think that it is indicated for his health. Not that he really cares. Again, he barely knows him.

      "I don't care that much about him, we haven't really talked." Taehyung mumbles, then shrugs. "But I think I could ask Namjoon if he knows anything. You know... just for the sake of our collaboration." he says after, then gets up from the sofa. 

      Jimin just nods, grinning. He knows that his friend is far too proud, but he also knows that he has a damn big heart, that's why he is more than likely worried. This is Kim Taehyung: he tries to appear cold, but he can melt your heart with the warmth of his soul. And yes, maybe he's only known Jeon Jungkook for a few days, but he doesn't need more.

       "Ask Hoseok if we can have another ten minutes break, please. The last dance completely destroyed me!" the man with blond hair complains , and the other leaves the room, without answering him.

      He has no intention of putting his life in danger by asking Jhope about this. Yes, he is the friendliest of them, but he is a monster when it comes to dancing. At this moment, he just has to think about how he could ask Namjoon about Jungkook, without pretending that he cares too much.

       "I hope you're all right, you annoying singer."

A new and boring chapter after years uwuuuu

Ik it is kinda short and not very intersting, but I kinda don't have any inspiration atm so deal with it;)
