Ashley Ketchum and Pikachu had just finished their journey across the Paldea League and as soon as they had arrived home looking forward to a break, they find themselves in a strange new world without Pokémon.

They also find themselves intercepting a pirate named Blackbeard and his crew.

After defeating the crew, they would meet face to face with someone else who was after the man.

Portgas D. Ace, Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, soon learns after parting from his brother at Alabasta that someone beat him to Blackbeard and got the traitor arrested.

Now he is looking for the person that took his claim.

But he did not expect for the person to be a cute young lady with unknown creatures.

Now the Cowboy won't leave her alone, even with Pikachu's thunderbolts.

It was a strange day for Ashley Ketchum.

One minute she was taking a small stroll around town, the next thing she knew, she went through a strange Ultra Wormhole and landed on a strange island.

Checking her bag and such, she was happy that she still had her Pokémon and PC, she and Pikachu walked to find a town.

"Hun, I don't see anything similar to a Pokémon Center........"

"Pika." Pikachu agreed.

Then an explosion occurred as people ran and panicked.

Ashley and Pikachu ran to the source to see a rotund man laughing with some of his other crewmembers as they looted some buildings, and beating a bunch of Marines.

Ashley gritted her teeth, and looked through her PC. Happy it still works, she got the Pokémon perfect to help.

As Blackbeard and his crew enjoyed their spoils of War, suddenly they were seized by an unknown force.

"What's going on?! I can't move!" Burgess said.

"Someone is attempting to intervene with us." Auger said.

Then Blackbeard spotted a young girl with some strange creatures at her side.

"Oi, girly! You doing this?"

"Mostly Alakazam, but yes." She said as the Psi Pokémon flung the crew back.

"Argh, guess I'll have to teach you a lesson. Get them!" Blackbeard yelled.

The girl just frowned. "Gyarados. Blizzard then Thunder."

Her Gyarados did so taking out the doctor and Lafitte.

As Burgess was about to get to her, Mimikyuu smacked him and Ashley used Snuggle Forever on him.

As a result, Burgess was screaming to be let go from under the mass, and when he was finally released he was shriveled up, and his hair and skin went white.

The sniper had no chance against Charizard, who took him out with Blast Burn.

But Blackbeard did not expect for a crystal creature to give him a hard time.

And he was ultimately defeated with Light That Burns the Sky.

The people of the island were amazed that this girl had beaten Blackbeard and his crew!

Now the traitor of the Whitebeard Pirates would just be a footnote in history.

Marco was looking over the paper for news on Ace when he saw a particular article.

Someone had defeated Blackbeard, and it wasn't Ace!

He hoped that Ace was on an island somewhere as he got a hold of a Den Den Mushi.

Finally, it picked up.

"Ace? It's me Marco."

"Hey, yeah, I'll be catching up to Teach so-." Ace said as he was getting his rider ready.

"That's the thing. Someone else beat ya to him. Blackbeard has been beaten and arrested. His crew is was beaten pretty bad too-yoi." Marco said.

"Eh?"

"Yeah, a Marine Vice-Admiral saw the whole thing. Said they were beaten by a beast tamer with creatures they have never seen before, yoi."

"Where are they?"

"They should be at Lesici Island. Their name is Ash-"

"Good, that's the next island. I'll see them." Ace said hanging up.

"Shouldn't you call him to tell him that Ash is a girl?" One crewmember said.

".......Nah, he'll figure it out." Another said. "Least Blackbeard has been punished."
