Fire Fist Ace

Ashley and Pikachu had taken up a ride on a merchant ship on the way to the next island, Lacrose Island, hopefully, they can find a way back home.

The port town was nice and peaceful.

"Thanks for the ride, sir."

"It's no problem after you saved our home. Take care miss." the merchant said.

Bidding goodbye, Ashlynn walked around and finally settled on camping out in the wide woods.

------------------

The next day, she woke up from her tent and decided to make some breakfast.

At the same time, Portgas D. Ace arrived on the Island as he learned that the one who defeated Blackbeard already left the previous island.

He asked the merchant who gave Ashlynn a ride if a beast tamer arrived.

"Actually, yes. We gave them a ride here, they should still be on the island. Last I saw them they went to the woods, but there is nothing dangerous in there."

"Thank you sir." Ace bowed as he went off.

By the time he made it deep into the forest, he could smell something delicious being made.

Ashley had made melty omelets with warm milk and berries for herself and her Pokemon.

Pikachu was eating with Charizard, Greninja, Lucario, Dipplin, and Blissey.

Suddenly, Lucario and Charizard stopped eating, and growled in a certain direction.

"What is it?" Ashley asked.

Then a man came out from the bushes, making her Pokemon tense.

He was a tall muscular young man with curly black hair. He also sported rather childish freckles and silver eyes. He wore black boots, black knee-length shorts with an eyelet-studded orange belt, and a blue pouch belted around his left leg. He also wore a short second belt with a large red "A" on the silver buckle over his right hip, but left it unfastened and threaded the free end along the back of his shorts. A dagger in a green sheath hung at his left hip. On his left arm, he wore a Log Pose, a red and white striped bracelet around his wrist, an orange elbow guard, and his "ASCE" tattoo, which is strange to Ashley. He wore a red beaded necklace and an orange hat with two blue smileys, one frowning and one smiling, and a string of red beads sitting above the rim. Two long orange side straps hung down sides of his hat and met at a large medallion of a bull's skull with orange tassels. His tattoos were among his most remarkable, trademark features. He had a tattoo on his back—purple bones formed in a cross behind a purple skull with a white mustache. However, he had no shirt, making Ashley wonder if he was a local or something.

On the other hand, Ace found himself at a clearing where the smell of food led him. He found himself facing six different and unusual creatures. A large orange dragon, a jackal, a yellow mouse, a moving apple, a blue frog that looked like a ninja, and a pink and white creature.

They all seemed to be guarding a young girl behind them. She had tannish skin showing she spent a lot of time outside. Her cheekbones had strange marks resembling thunderbolts, but sideways. Her hair was shoulder-length black, and her eyes were a warm brown, almost amber. Her clothing was strange as well.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for a person named Ash, you know where I can find him?" Ace asked.

"If you really mean Ashley, yes, she's me." Ashley said.

Ace's eyes widened a bit. The Ash he was looking for was a girl? Well.......this is awkward......

"Ah, well, I'm Ace, you see I was on the trail of Blackbeard, the guy you took care of on the other island."

"Really? Why?" Ashley tensed.

"Yeah, he was a member of the Second Division of the Whitebeard Pirates, he was one of my men. But he broke the biggest rule among a pirate crew, don't kill your crewmates. He did such a thing and jumped ship. As the commander of his division, I was to take care of him. Though, I heard you beat me to the punch." Ace explained.

"Well, first, I'm sorry for your friend, and my condolences. And second, did you come here to get angry that I stole your hit?" Ashley asked.

"Oh, no, not at all. I came to see if the word is true. And I heard of the part about your beasts." Ace said looking at her Pokemon.

"They are Pokemon. My friends, Pikachu, Charizard, Blissey, Greninja, Lucario, and Dipplin." Ashley gestured to each one.

Then Ace's stomach growled.

"Ah, sorry, I smelled something delicious on my way here. Mind if I have a bite?" He asked.

"Sure." Ashley smiled as she had already made more.

During the meal, Ace had eaten seven omelets, although he fell asleep in his food, surprising Ashley and her Pokemon.

"So, why did you call them Pokemon?" He asked.

"You guys never heard of Pokemon before, but it's not a surprise. They are from another dimension. I also have this as proof." Ashley said, taking out a map and showing them the Kanto Region. "This map shows the entire region called Kanto, my homeland. Now before you ask me what a region is, it's basically a continuous large mass of land that is separated by an expanse of water. The red squares indicate the cities, and the blue squares represent the towns. I lived in Pallet Town." She pointed to the small town.

"Were you with your parents?" Ace asked.

"No, I traveled with my Pokémon. Have been doing it for the last seven years, almost eight." Ashley said.

"Why were you traveling all by yourself?! Wait, your folks let you go off on your own?!" Ace exclaimed.

"Yeah, I was allowed to start my journey at the age of 10. That's when a kid can first legally apply for a Pokémon Trainer's license. At that point, a Pokémon Professor can give them a starter Pokémon native to their own region, though many people befriend or are given other Pokémon prior to being legally able to be Trainers. This is my license." Ashley said showing her license.

Plus when he saw how much money she had.......

"Wha?! How do you have that much money?!" Ace asked.

"When we win a Pokémon battle, we get some prize money, and that's not counting Valuable Items we can sell." Ashley explained.

Ace nodded, then he looked over at the creatures that eased up and finished their food.

Ashley then took out her Pokedex. "This can explain about my Pokemon better than me. It's a pokedex. An irreplaceable tool in my world. It gives information about all Pokémon in the world. Just point it at any of my Pokémon and it'll tell you what you want to know."

Ace took it and pointed it at Charizard first and the Pokedex spoke in a robotic male voice.

"Charizard the Flame Pokémon, a fire/flying type, the Kantonian Fire Starter, and the final evolved form of Charmander.

It spits fire hot enough to melt boulders. It may cause forest fires by blowing flames. Its wings can carry it close to an altitude of 4,600 feet. It is said that Charizard's fire burns hotter if it has experienced harsh battles. But it won't fight an opponent weaker than itself. As a result, not many people have a Charizard."

"Whoa! That's impressive!" Ace said as he moved to the others.

"Blissey, the Happiness Pokemon, a normal type, and the evolved form of Chansey.

Blissey senses sadness with its fluffy coat of fur. If it does so, this Pokémon will rush over to a sad person, no matter how far away, to share a Lucky Egg that brings a smile to any face.

Lucario, the Aura Pokemon, a steel/fighting type, and the evolved form of Riolu.

By reading the auras of all things, one can tell how others are feeling from over half a mile away.

It concentrates its mental energy and fires off mysterious waves called auras, which can crush boulders of large size to dust.

Dipplin, the Candy Apple Pokemon, a grass/dragon type, and a possible evolution of Applin.

The head and tail appear to belong to two separate creatures; both help each other out from within their shared apple. Dipplin coat their apples with syrup produced within their bodies. The layers of fragrant syrup beguile opponents.

Greninja, the Ninja Pokemon, a water/dark type, and the final evolution of the Kalos water starter, Froakie.

It creates throwing stars out of compressed water. When it spins them and throws them at high speed, these stars can split metal in two. It appears and vanishes with a ninja's grace. It toys with its enemies using swift movements, while slicing them with throwing stars of sharpest water.

Pikachu, the Mouse Pokemon, an electric type.

It lives in forests with others. It stores electricity in the pouches on its cheeks. If it looses crackling power from the electric pouches on its cheeks, it is being wary. It occasionally uses an electric shock to recharge a fellow PIKACHU that is in a weakened state."

Ace was impressed, these Pokemon all sounded strong in different ways.

"So, since you said you are from another dimension, that means you never heard of the Whitebeard Pirates?" Ace asked.

"Whitebeard?" Ashley asked.

Ace then showed his tattoo. "This tattoo, it's our mark. And my pride."

"Ah, then no, I never heard of him." Ashley admitted. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, I wonder if you would like to meet him. since you relived me of my mission and all..." Ace said facing Ashley.

Ashley thought this over.

This Ace was a pirate, but she could tell he was good, and she really didn't know how to get around in this ocean-based world.

She turned to Lucario who stared hard at Ace before turning to Ashley with a nod. Well, if Lucario thinks its alright, it can't hurt.

"Alright, we'll come along. Let me pack up here." Ashley said as her Pokemon helped out. Then she returned her Pokemon to their Pokeballs.

"Whoa! How do you do that?" Ace asked.

"This is a Pokeball, a device that can be used to catch and store Pokemon. Pikachu does not like to be in his Pokeball, so I let him stay out with me." Ashley said as Pikachu leapt onto her shoulder.

"I see. You and Pikachu close?"

"Yeah, he was my very first Pokemon on my journies." Ashley said.

As they headed to his Striker, Ace had to call up Marco.

"Hey, Marco. It's me. I found Ashley, tell pops he'll be getting a guest." Ace said. "And why didn't you say they were a girl?"

"You hung up before I could tell you, yoi. But we'll see you back at the ship."
