two.

"The Scarlett Witch."

Stephen turned around, "Wanda's gone."

Elena sucked in a breath, "You mean to tell me that Wanda has been what? Turned to the dark side?"

"Well, she's got the Darkhold...and the Darkhold has her."

"The Scarlet Witch is a being of unfathomable magic. She can rewrite reality as she chooses and is prophesied to either rule or annihilate the cosmos." Wong began to brief the group.

"She took over a whole town using her mind." Stephen added, "If she gets America's power...she could enslave the entire Multiverse."

Elena sighed, this wasn't looking very good for anyone.

"So, the person you went to to ask for help," America started, "and told exactly where I am, is the person that's trying to kill me."

"Nice going Stranger," Elena shook her head, but how was he supposed to know.

"Suspend teaching at once and arm the students." Wong instructed, "Kamar Taj must now become a fortress."

It didn't take very long before the Scarlet Witch arrived. A thick fog blew in, blocking out any light from the orange sky.

Goosebumps prickled Elena's arms as she watched the sky nervously.

Seconds later, a tiny bit of glowing red began to shine through the black fog. Then she came into full view.

"Chose you words wisely," Wong instructed, "The fate of the Multiverse may depend on it."

"Got it." Stephen nodded, "No pressure then." He mused sarcastically.

"Maybe we shouldn't send him then," Elena noted nervously, and both Wong and Stephen turned to look at her.

"Are you volunteering?"

"Oh, hell no." Elena shook her head, "Just that little fog act is enough to haunt my nightmares until the end of time."

Elena watched nervously as Stephen floated up to Wanda. After a minute or two Wong instructed the group to get into defensive positions and just a couple moments after that, Wanda blasted the shield of light.

Stephen floated down next to them, "Nailed it."

"Yup we could tell," Elena responded.

"Reinforce the shield!" Wong called out as Wanda continued to attack it.

"You know," Elena started, "Maybe I should just go check on the kid..."

Before either of the two men could object Elena was gone.

"How's it going out there?" America asked nervously.

"Uh—" Elena started but the sound of nearby explosions interrupted her.

"Clearly not as well as we would've liked..."

Wanda's whispers of America's name floated around the room, and America's arms flew around Elena's shoulders, as she hid behind her.

A couple seconds later America took a step back and awkwardly whispered, "Sorry."

"It's okay," Elena smiled gently, "I get it."

Stephen busted through the door, "We've gotta get you out of here. Now."

Stephen began to make a portal and America turned to Wong, "Wong, what happened?"

"Kamar-Taj has fallen."

Elena's eyes wondered to Stephen, just as his Slingie faded away.

"That can't be good," Elena murmured.

All of the doors around them slammed shut, and a soft gasp escaped Elena's lips as too of the men in the room were pulled through the floor.

"She's using the reflections," Stephen realized, "Cover them."

They all ran around the room covering up various puddles. Elena's head snapped around as America let out a scream.

Wanda's hand busted out of the symbol, and Elena tugged America behind her as Wanda continued to crawl through it. Elena gagged as Wanda's bones snapped back into place.

"You gave all of those lives just to keep me from my children." Wanda waltzed in their direction.

"You took those lives." Stephen noted, "You cannot be allowed to cross into the Multiverse."

"I'm not a monster, Stephen." Wanda claimed, "I'm a mother."

"Wanda you have no children. They don't exist."

Elena's eyes widened was that really the best reply in this situation. Tell the angry powerful witch that she has no children?

"Ah, but they do. In every other universe. I know they do because I dream of them. Every night."

Wanda revealed the Darkhold, spools of red spilling out of it and all of the other universes playing out in front of them.

"Of my boys...of our life together." Wanda watched the scenes play out, "Everynight..."

"The same dream. And then every morning," she shut the book, "The same nightmare."

Elena frowned, she could feel the woman's grief...but that didn't make what she was doing okay. Not in the slightest.

"What if you reach them?" Stephen broke the silence, "What happens to the other you? What happens to their mother?"

Wanda's lips quivered a bit, it was very slight but Elena had learned to pick up on things like that.

Stephen took that moment to attack. Some sort of dragon like creatures springing from his hands.

It did not take Wanda very long to defeat the creatures though. She sent Stephen flying into one of the stone pillars.

And Wong into another, the only thing standing between her and America was Elena.

"I'm not going to let you kill her, Wanda," the brunette stated.

The Scarlet Witch scoffed, sending an orb of red in Elena's direction which Elena blocked with a shield of light.

The issue was Elena was not super well versed in these new found powers, especially not in a situation where her life was actually in danger.

So she of course was thrown to the side much like the other two.

Whirls of red wrapped around America lifting her off the ground.

Elena rubbed her head, slowly moving to her feet, she stepped slightly in front of America, ready to fight Wanda off just as a star shaped portal tore open behind them.

Stephen came bounding towards them shoving them both through the portal.

After tearing through many universes the three of them landed on their backs in a patch of grass.

"You two ok?" Stephen asked, and Elena didn't respond to busy pinching the bridge of her nose, biding the dizziness to go away.

"You...you both saved me." America breathed.

"Strange," Elena spoke up still not opening her eyes, "Tell me you did not just shove me through a portal into another universe."

"I—I definitely did no such thing." He nodded.

"Are you okay, Elena?" America asked softly.

"I'm gonna puke," she murmured in reply.

Elena slowly moved to her feet with the help of America.

The young girl turned to Stephen, "I'm surprised that you didn't puke."

"It's not my first weird trip, kid." Stephen replied,  "So this is New York in the Multi—"

The man was cut off, abruptly puking.

"Not helping," Elena flinched, looking away.

"Yep, there it is." America nodded.

"Ugh, crap," Stephen stood back up, and his cape attempted to wipe his mouth, as he swatted it away.

He held up the cape in front of him, "Yeah, you got pretty dinged up. We'll get you fixed."

"Alright America," Stephen turned to the girl, "You gotta open the portal and get us back there, right now."

"I—I don't know how."

"You just did it." He noted.

Elena sucked in a breath, finally feeling less dizzy and nauseated, "Stephen—"

"Not on purpose," America frowned.

"Wong is back there alone with Wanda," Stephen informed, "I'm the only hope he has."

"I can't control my powers," America shook her head.

"You must be able to control it somehow." Stephen snapped, "Even I could..."

"That's enough." Elena shook her head, moving between the two of them, "We're all going to figure this out, together."

"Sorry," Stephen whispered, "We'll, what about this universe's you? Maybe she can control her powers."

"This universe doesn't have a me." America stated.

"What?"

"None of them do." America continued.

"Why?" Elena arched an eyebrow at the girl.

"Well, how do you know that?" Stephen questioned.

"Cause I've looked." America stated, "and...cause I never dream."

Stephen sighed, "That's okay, kid. And even if you could get me back there, I have no way of fighting Wanda."

"What about the book of Vishanti?" America suggested.

"What about it?" Stephen asked, a twinge of annoyance in his voice.

"Well, if other you thought it could stop Wanda," Elena began, "Maybe it can."

"Well I don't know where it is," Stephen shook his head, "So, unless there's another other me—"

"We need to go find.." America trailed off.

"Other other me."
