CHAPTER 9

Adrien's Perspective:

"Principal Damocles!" Alya yelled while we entered his office.

"Uh- Hello students, can I help you?" he asked.

"Yes, give us free therapy for a student from our grade drugged Marinette."

"WHAT!? THIS CAN'T BE!" Mister Damocles yelled.

"Do you have any proof?!" Mr. Damocles asked.

"Well, not about the sleeping pills, but yes about a threat that she sent to Marinette," Nino said.

"You have to expel her! She's caused too many problems, sir!" Alya said.

"Who is this student?"

"Li- Lila Rossi," I said.

"I will see what happens, but for now you can't tell this to anyone," Mister Damocles said.

"Please Mister Damocles, she drugged Marinette and sent her a threat letter!"

Mister Damocles was shocked when he saw the letter.

"As for now, she's expelled, but I need to talk to Lila and Marinette come to my room at 7 in the morning tomorrow."

We exited the room and Alya had a satisfied smile on her face.

"At least she is gonna get expelled."

The three of us laughed while we headed back to the pharmacy.

Marinette's Perspective:

I woke up with bright lights hanging above me. It hurt my eyes to stare at them.

I felt the presence of Tikki around me, which comforted me.

I started to remember what had happened to me.

"Oh! Looks like you woke up!"

"Sage?"

"Hahaha, I know it's weird, your friends brought you here after they found out that you fainted, but they didn't want to worry your parents." Sage said.

I felt grateful for their thoughtfulness.

"So you and that boy?" Sage asked.

"Which boy!" I freaked out.

"The blond one, I think his name was Adrien?".

"Oh- well, um, we're... friends," I said.

"Uh-huh."

"Well, anyways, what are the results?" I asked while pointing at the papers in her hands.

"Someone drugged you. You should remember that, I don't think you'll have any side effects, but you might faint from time to time."

"Ok."

I never thought Lila would take it this far, but I should have known it was her.

But why would she do such a thing?

I felt Tikki in my purse speaking.

"Uh sorry, is there a bathroom here?" I asked.

"Yes, of course! To your left." She pointed to the bathroom.

I went in and locked the door.

"I'm so sorry Marinette! I tried to help but then I had to call Pla--" she said, but closed her mouth realizing she made a mistake.

"Plagg? What was Plagg doing in school?"I asked, confused.

"Uh- he wasn't actually- I just called him!"

"Hmm.. ok?"

"Well, how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling alright, I mean at least I didn't faint," I said while laughing.

"I just wanted to inform you that I feel negative emotions that could become a problem later."

"Ok, we'll see what happens."

Adrien's Perspective:

It felt good to see that Lila was going to get what she deserved, but what was she going to when she found out?

"Psst, Adrien!" Plagg whispered.

"What?" I said

"I feel a very strong emotion near," Plagg said.

"Alright, if you keep on feeling it, tell me, but right now I have to help Marinette."

We went back to the pharmacy and I could hear Marinette laughing with Sage, which was such a relief.

"Hey guys!" Marinette said.

"Mari!" Alya yelled going for a hug.

"Ayla!"

"How are you feeling? Are you alright? Do you need anything?" Alya asked.

Marinette giggled and said, "No, thank you Alya, I'm alright."

"She can go back home, she just needs to be supervised by one of you, so that her parents don't find out." Sage gave Marientte's things back to her.

Alya and Nino looked at each other with a smirk and said, "Adrien can stay with her! Euh- we have to go!"

Great! What do I do now

Marinette's Perspective:

As much as I wanted Adrien to be with me, I knew I would embarrass myself.

"Uh- I can't take care of myself dont worry guys!" I said as I tried to get from the hospital bed.

I slipped and almost fell down, but Adrien's muscled arms caught me and hoisted me back to my feet. I didn't have time to feel the fear of falling when I saw Adrien's face. He was still wearing his perfect smile--gods, did he practice that in the mirror? I unknowingly put my hand on his chest as I stood back up. His fingers left my back, but not before sliding it across my spine, sending electric shocks down my body.

"I think I'll stay with you," Adrien said.

"Alright, well you guys have fun, I mean not too much fun," Alya said.

I glared at her, but she just blew a kiss.

"Right well off you go! I have to close the pharmacy!" Sage said.

We both laughed and thanked Sage.

Adrien I left and we headed to my house.

"So, this time you wanna play video games?" I asked.

"Yes, anything for you mil--" Adrien stopped himself in the middle, looking confused.

"What?" I asked.

"No-nothing! Let's go play video games," he said.

I got really confused, but we went upstairs and played video games.

"You always win! It's not fair!" he complained while laughing.

"Ha! What can I say!" I replied, proudly.

In the middle of our game, Luka gave me a call.

I decided to text him and tell that I couldn't talk right now because I'm doing hot girl shit, but that I'd call him later.

"Who was that?" Adrien asked while we continued playing.

"Oh, it was Luka!" I replied.

"Oh-you guys are friends?"

"Yeah! We're very good friends."

"Oh, cool" His smile slowly faded away.

I started to feel dizzy again, but this time I knew what was going to happen.

"I-I Adrien," I said.

"Marinette? What's wrong?" he asked.

"I-I'm going to faint," I said and closed my eyes.

"No-! It's ok! I'm here with you."

I felt him holding me. His hands were shaking. I felt shy even though my body collapsed. If he would just hold me like that all day...

Adrien's Perspective:

I couldn't let her get hurt, so I laid her on her sofa and waited for her to wake up.

That's when I noticed something very weird.

Something I'm sure I wasn't supposed to see.

"Tikki..?" I asked.

Plagg quickly exited my jacker and asked, "Well uh- isn't weird to see you here, sugarcube?"
