CHAPTER 23

"I wonder what Cat Noir will think when he sees you," Sass said laughing.

"Why are you laughing Sass?" I asked.

"Well you went from a ladybug to a snake, I wonder if snakes eat ladybugs," Sass said.

"Sass!" I yelled, laughing.

"Oh well, you know what to do now," he said.

I nodded. "Sass scales slither!"

I transformed in a weird way.

It was definitely very different from Ladybug's costume, but I still liked it.

"Ok well here we go?" I asked while looking at myself in the mirror.

I walked to my balcony and a sudden thought struck my head. I didn't have a special weapon like Cat Noir or Ladybug.

"Ugh this is going to be hard," I complained, putting my palm on my forehead.

I jumped from building to building trying to find a place where no one could find me.

As I was finding a place I passed next to Luka's boat which seemed to be outside. I saw Luka himself, playing his guitar. I looked at him but I kept on running on top of the buildings. As I jumped to one of the buildings I realised that he looked at me with a confused face.

He tilted his face and looked at me. I put on a serious face and disappeared from the buildings where Luka could see me.

I hid behind the street where Master Fu gave me the miraculous of both Ryuuko and Queen Bee. I quickly holded the Lyre and called Cat Noir out of it.

"Cat Noir it's ladybug, you know what happened, I had to change kwamis since mine is hurt, I'm currently using the snake miraculous. Please meet me on the rooftop where I got stabbed by Felix," I said to the Lyre while I sent the message to Cat Noir.

Now I hope he does not take a long time, but I doubt it, I just have to patiently wait.

I jumped back to the roofs and it seemed to be easier from time to time. I guess it was easier for Viperion to jump.

I jumped into the building where I got stabbed that afternoon and I kept getting flashbacks.

"New look milady?" a familiar voice asked.

I turned around and I was never so happy to see someone more.

"Chat!" I said, going to hug him.

"Hello, so what should I call you now? Sneaky?" Cat Noir said laughing.

"Ha ha," I replied, sarcastically.

"Well here is what you asked for," Cat Noir said with a smile on his face while he gave me the two miraculous boxes.

"Thank you," I said.

"So, did you get a bit better?" he asked. He was pretending to be amusing again, but I knew he was very worried. He still had a hopeful tone in his voice.

I sighed. "Yeah about that... Not really," I replied, nervously.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Well, the wound healed and close when I was with Master Fu, but it opened again when I went back to my house. It's also changing colors which is really weird," I told him.

"And you are just going to let it be? Shouldn't you do something about it? Take a break maybe, I could handle this for you. Your health comes first, you know that right?" he said, throwing me a handful of rhetoric questions.

"Well.. yes, but--" I tried before he interrupted me.

"But what? You risked your entire well-being just to get 2 miraculous boxes? Are you insane? Do you just not care about your health at all?" he yelled at me.

"Well what do you want me to do?! I'm the one in charge of them!" I shouted back, my anger rising like the sea levels.

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"Listen Cat Noir, I don't know why you're getting mad at me all of a sudden, but I also have things I need to get completed," I replied, angrily.

"YOU ARE RISKING YOUR LIFE!" He was now screaming at me.

"Don't scream at me Cat Noir," I yelled.

"I'm just worried about you..." he said before he trailed off.

I was about to open my mouth again, but I felt the sharp tang of pain in my side again.

It felt as if Felix stabbed me all over again.

I placed my hand to the wound and fell onto my knees. I was gasping for air.

"Ladybug?!" he yelled and ran toward me.

"Fuck!" I cried out.

"What happened?!" he spoke, lifting me up with his arms.

"It's Tikki.. She's not ok, I need to go to her," I said trying to handle the pain.

"How can I help you?" he asked. I felt a slight tremor in his arms.

Cat Noir straightened before crouching low and grabbing the underside of my knees. He had one arm slinged around my waist and he lifted me up, princess style.

"You have to let me back down," I groaned.

"I need to go with you, I can't let you go alone," he said, stubbornly. He used his baton to get the both of us back down.

"You- can't come, you can't know where the guardian is," I scolded.

"But--I can't let you go like this," he replied.

We were soon already where I was before.

"I-I can handle it," I grimaced.

"No you can't!" he said.

"I can," I said trying to move away from him.

"No--" Cat Noir started before someone firmly grabbed his arms.

"I can help her," Luka said, coming out of the darkness.
