CHAPTER 12

I eventually lost sight of Cat Noir and I felt my body getting closer and closer to the ground. As I was meters away from the ground I felt strong arms grab onto my waist. Right before I almost plummeted to my death Cat Noir saved me.

"Still want to let go?" he asked.

I raged at him, while he laughed to himself.

"I really don't know how Ladybug stands you," I replied.

"Hey! I'm not that bad, I only almost killed you just because you said a simple joke. I only dropped you from a building. Plus, even Ladybug can't handle all of this handsomeness," he said.

I just glared at him.

"Oh and to respond to your question from before, no I don't need a partner to dance with, I can dance by myself," I said and walked away.

"Yeah right! You wish you were dancing with someone as charming as me," Cat Noir boasted.

"You wish kitty!" I yelled and walked toward the direction of my house.

"You know it's going to take you at least 20 minutes for you to get home," Cat Noir said.

Great. Now what do I say, oh Cat Noir take me home! Hah, as if.

"Ok then, I guess I'll walk for 20 minutes," I said.

"You can really be annoying sometimes," He rolled his eyes.

I felt him right next to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and he jumped. He moved building to building again.

"Again!?" I yelled in frustration.

"Just relax!" he said.

Fuck it, I thought. If I was going to do this near-death-experience for the second time, I'll sure as hell be comfortable. I leaned my head on his chest and enjoyed the view. I enjoyed the view of the person who was holding me and the view of the city below. His chest felt hard from muscle and training, yet I could melt into it. I snuggled against his chest a little.

We arrived home after a few minutes and he left me on my balcony. I almost didn't want to go, but the whole Luka and Adrien thing was enough, I didn't need pussycat messing my life even more.

"You know if you ever need a dancing partner just call me," he winked at me.

I rolled my eyes and he left.

Tikki came out of my pocket and started dancing around.

"Wow Marinette! Cat Noir really likes you!" she yelled.

"Ok then explain why he threw me out of a building," I said laughing.

"You know how Cat Noir is," Tikki said.

"I guess," I replied.

I changed into my pajamas and got into bed. I checked my phone and looked at my messages. Alya didn't text me, she was probably busy with her sisters. I knew I was going to regret what I about to do. I checked for messages, but Adrien's name never came up. I just couldn't handle it. Would an apology kill? Tears started to form in my eyes.

"Marinette! Are you ok?" Tikki asked.

"I-I- I thought Adrien would talk to me after what happened, but he didnt even text me," I sobbed.

"Marinette, you know Gabriel,'' took his phone away," she said reassuringly.

"I guess you're right Tikki," I said while bringer her closer to give her a hug.

I decided to check my other texts and calls and I saw that Luka texted me. I got nervous for some reason. What was I supposed to say after we kissed?? This was really awkward. I decided to text him to say that I was busy with my parents and that I was sorry that I couldn't answer before.

As I texted him I received a facetime call from Alya.

"Hey girl!" she greeted.

"Hi!" I said.

"Anyways sorry about my sisters before, you know how annoying they can be," she said.

"Oh yeah ahah! Oh by the way! Guess what happened!" I asked.

"DID YOU KISS LUKA AGAIN?!" Alya yelled.

"NO!" I yelled.

"Oh.. then what happened," she laughed.

"Cat Noir for some reason came to my house and--" I paused. My vision started to grow woozy.

"Marinette? Are you ok?" she asked.

"Alya- I think I'm going to faint again.." I said before my phone fell off my bed.

"BITCH DON'T FAINT!" Alya screamed.

"Crap! Nino, we gotta go get Adrien and go to Marinette's house," Alya said.

My eyes kept closing and I felt Tikki around me saying not to close my eyes, but I still did.
