Chapter 9: Robin

Ohmygosh, im sorry, I skipped writing a chapter six! There is no chapter six, i guess. Sry about that. Also, I read that writing lyrics t o a song is cliche. So, please tell em if I should from now on. Now, let me try that whole tag thing again.

Did it work? Probably not. On with da story! Also, I need a weakness for Robin, other then the spiders. Not heights, and not doing presentations(because that was already established.) Right. NOW ON WITH DA STORY!!!

Also, this chapter is a skippable chapter, since it is basically Ryota, Robin and Daigo playing video games, like Minecraft. MINECRAFT IS BETTER THAN FORTNITE!!!

AGAIN, on with the story.

The next day, Thursday, Robin couldn't focus. She failed math, flunked a Japanese(like English class, but Japanese. I think,) presentation, and instead of eating at lunch, just sat and listened to music.

Daigo sat beside her. "Not hungry?"

Robin shook her head. Shu had beat Valt in the last match, so it would be her versus Shu.

"I've got a question," Daigo continued. "Why did you try to throw the match?"

Robin took out her earbuds. "I wanted you to win. Second, it's better you beat Shu than me. Since I won, I think I have to throw the match."

He sighed. "Robin, give Shu some credit. He's really strong, and practices a lot. You may not be able to beat him."

"I will," Robin said, not even hesitating. "I've got several moves I've sown no one yet, and he doesn't. I've spied on him while he trained. Besides, he's only a Semi-Descendant, so if worst comes to worst, I can give my beyblade some of my energy."

Daigo frowned. "Isn't that cheating?"

"Nope. Not if your opponent is of Beyblade descendant, too. Not my fault Shu didn't get the powers." Robin dug around in her lunch box, trying to find the box of lemon Nerds. "Any other questions?"

Daigo hesitated, and she guessed he was taking to Doomscyther. "Yeah," he decided. "My brother's getting out in three days. I'd like you to meet him."

-timeskip-

Robin walked with Daigo in the direction she'd only been once. "So Rota's basically a slightly more mature version of the Aoi twins?" she asked.

Diago shrugged. "He's Ryota. He's not anything else."

"Sorry. Next question: Does he like minecraft?"

Daigo seemed to look a bit happier. "Both of us do. Usually I bring his tablet, too."

Robin smiled. "I've got two tablets with me, if he wants to play with us."

They entered the hospital. When Robin got to the room, she blinked, surprised. Ryota was about four feet, Valt's height. He had black hair that stuck straight up, warm violet eyes, and a happy smile. And also a hospital gown, which Robin already hated. She hung back shyly as Daigo ran and hugged his brother.

"Hey, Ryota," he said softly.

Ryota hugged back. "I missed you big brother! Did you win your battle?"

He released him onto the bed, and gestured at Robin, who slowly walked into the room. "No. I would have if my opponent continued trying to make sure I won, but I told her to do her best."

Ryota tilted his head. "But if she was giving you an easy win. Why didn't you take it?"

Daigo ruffled his hair. "It doesn't matter if you win or lose," he said, "if both of you didn't give it your all. Remember that, okay?"

The young boy smiled brightly. "Okay!" He turned to Robin. "Are you the girl who tried to let Daigo win?"

She bowed slightly, earning a disapproving look from Ramos. "Yes. My name's Robin. Your big brother wanted me to meet you."

He bounced up and down on the bed. "Well, I'm Ryota, and I like beyblading, Minecraft, spicy food, and laser pointers. In that order."

Robin giggled. "I like beyblading, Minecraft, spicy food, and learning languages."

Ryota gave her a hug. "Nice to meet you, Robin! Are you and my brother dating?"

Daigo and Robin froze. "Of course not!" they practically shouted.

The violet-eyed boy laughed. "Sorry. It was just that Daigo's never brought someone else to visit me before. By the way, do have a tablet to play Minecraft on?"

Daigo nodded. "Always, brother." He lowered his eyes. "But I forgot yours."

She jumped off the bed and opened the second pouch on her dark blue backpack. "Tada! Two tablets with Minecraft!"

The boys stared at her backpack. "How much stuff do you have in that?" Daigo asked.

Robin started counting on her fingers. "Well, I've got the two tablets, a charger, a change of clothes, including boots, a towel, a sleeping bag, my martial arts gi, a spare pocket knife, and a dress." She pulled a red dress out of the bag. It had flames at the bottom, and got darker red the farther up it went. "Oh, yeah, and my school books and my language books." She put back the dress."Minecraft?"

They started up a world. Five minutes in, Ryota called, "PVP!"

Robin shrugged. "Sure. Spread out, you get thirty seconds before PVP starts."

Daigo sighed. "Robin, Ryota is a master at player versus player. He's going to destroy us."

"Three!" the little kid said. "Two, one! Start!"

Robin's character was on top of a mountain, stacking blocks beneath it. When she was twenty blocks up, she started using her cobblestone to build a sky-house. By the time she finished, night was definitely upon her. Robin put her stuff in a chest, clicked the bed to set her respawn, then jumped down with flint and steel to go set Daigo's house on fire.

She found Ryota's first. How did he build a five-story mansion in two minutes? Mindful about pressure plates and trip wires, she made her way into the place.

First floor: A bunch of spiders, and no chests.

Second floor: Two chests, one trapped(Robin had to destroy it first.)

Third floor: Tons of wood, a bunch of beds.

Fourth floor: Diamond armor stands.

Fifth floor: Ryota, crouching behind the door, killing her character with a jump attack and flint and steel.

The "You Died!" scream taunted her, as she groaned and hit 'respawn.' "Ryota!"

Ryota giggled. "This is war!"

Daigo grumbled something under his breath. "This is the fifth time I've fallen for the water-lava trap at your house, Robin. I give up."

The violet-eyed boy looked at her. "Give up?"

Robin sighed. "I know I'm outclassed," she confessed with a grin. "This time, I'm hosting the world."

During nighttime, this huge horde of monsters came their way. Ryota immediately took charge."Daigo! Take left. Robin, keep the endermen away from the base. I'll be bait."

Robin maneuvered her character to their house, then looked up.

Daigo was sitting in the other chair, his eyes closed, breathing softly. His brother noticed a second after her. "Get me his tablet! I'll keep his character alive."

Ryota tapped both screens at once, maneuvering both characters to kill as many zombies as possible.

About five minutes later, Daigo woke up. "Wha-!"

"Big brother, you fell asleep again."

He groaned. "Again? I didn't even realize it." He stood up and stretched, glancing at his tablet. "My character's still alive?" He grinned at Ryota. "You have serious skills. I really can't wait to start training with you again."
