master is on the stage with Erza, Laxus, and Gildarts. I dont know whats going on. It's gotta be really important if they are all there. The whole guild looks excited and confused at the same time. I whisper to Natsu.

Y/n: What's going on Natsu?

Natsu: i've got an idea but im not sure if my hunch is right.

Makarov: it's that time of the year!!

The whole guild erupts into cheers. Then im here and i have no idea whats going on.

Makarov: now who's ready to hear who made the cut for the S-Class trials list???

I finally get it now. Every year, people who make the trial list compete for an S-Class spot in the guild.

Natsu: im definitely getting S-Class this year!

Gray: Not if i get it first!

Y/n: we dont even know who made the cut yet...

Gray: well im one of the strongest in the guild.

Natsu: but im alot stronger the u!

Gray: no! Im stronge..

Y/n: shut up! Im stronger then both of u!

Gray and Natsu: what?!

Makarov: boys stop fighting! Ok now let me announce the list.

Natsu: who made the cut?

Makarov: let me speak. Ok, those who made the cut are
- Freed Justine
- Cana Alberona
- Gray Fullbuster
- Natsu Dragneel
- Juvia Lockser
- Elfman Strauss
- Levy Mcgarden
- Mest

Makarov: those who i named will have 1 week to train. You must have a partner and that person can't be
S-Class. 

Natsu: yeah!!! Happy is gonna be my partner!

Gray: Loke is gonna be my partner.

Loke suddenly appears in some regular cloths.

Lucy: what are u doing here Loke?

Loke: Me and Gray promised that we'd be whoever got to the S-Class exam first's partner. Im still a member of Fairy tail.

He shows me his guild mark. Then starts flirting with me.

Loke: so are u free tonight y/n? U truly are beautiful.

Y/n: does he always do this?

Lucy: yes. Its frankly very annoying.

Y/n: i enjoy it.

Loke: so, you and me tonight?

Y/n: aren't i a bit young to go on a date with u? Do u know how old i am?

Loke: i dont really care. I just want some company tonight.

Y/n: thanks but no thanks. Id rather think about other things then go on a date with someone alot older then me.

Juvia: Juvia wanted to be with Gray-Sama!

Lisanna: I'll be with u Juvia!

Juvia:.,...... Ok.

I look over to Jet and Droy fighting over who's going to be Levy's partner on the S-Class quest. Gajeel stands behind Levy. levy just looks sad.

Gajeel: I can help u out if u want shrimp.

Levy: what good would it do? I'd probably just loose in the beginning because im weak and tiny.

Gajeel: i can make u bigger then you've ever been before.

Then he just picks her up like she weighs nothing.

Levy: Let me go! Gajeel, put me down!!

Gajeel: then it's settled, I'll help u become S-Class.

Levy: uh ok.

And they just leave like that. That Mest guy... I dont ever recall seeing him before in the guild before. He's partners with Wendy so Carla probably approves of him. Elfman partnered up with Evergreen which didn't really surprise me. And Freed partnered up with Bixlow.

I leave the guild hall right after Lucy and Cana. They're probably gonna be partners too. I knew I wasn't going to get picked as S-Class worthy or someone's partner. I realize a tear goes down my cheek. Im only 10, I can't use magic that well so what chance did i have.

Erza's POV

I can't wait to see how the S-Class trials are going to go. I see some interesting partners. Elfman and Evergreen, Mest and Wendy, Gray and Loke, Freed and Bixlow, Natsu and Happy, Juvia and Lisanna, Levy and Gajeel and finally im guessing Cana and Lucy. These are very interesting partners. Im excited.

I suddenly see Y/N leave the guild hall. I follow her to the river. Ah, the river that I've cried at alot when i was younger and where Natsu and Gray used to fight when they were little.

Y/n turns around and i hide behind a tree.

Y/n: is anyone there??

I keep quiet but she sounds upset. Very upset. She heads for the river bank and sits on the side of the water letting her legs dangle in the water. I approach her carefully.

Erza: are u alright?

Y/n: whaa, Erza? Where u following me?

Erza: u seemed upset so im sorry. Wanna talk?

Y/n: im not really in the mood for talking.

Erza: is this about the S-Class exams by any chance?

Y/n: yeah. Pretty pathetic right? Crying over not getting chosen.

Erza: its not pathetic. I get ur feeling.

I give her a hug, letting her empty out her tears till she's done.

Erza: dont tell anyone but wanna come with us. U could help us out with certain things. We could use ur cooking.

* i forgot to mention everyone loves ur cooking*

Y/n: naah. I'll get my chance next year. And the year after. I wouldn't want to get in the way.

Erza: well in the next week, my offer still stands.

Y/n: thanks Erza. That makes me feel alot better. Ur like my big sister.

Erza: yeah. No problem. No matter what, im here and the guild is here for u too. U coming back to the guild now? Mirajane baked a cake.

Y/n: im fine now. Let's go!

In the next few days me and Y/n go out for a bonding trip. Rockclimbing, camping out for 2-3 days. I had a feeling I wouldn't be able to do this for another while so i took advantage of it now.

Y/n: Erza, do u like anyone? I promise i wont tell.

Erza: hmm. Yeah. U better not tell anyone. His name is Jellal.
(aaaah jerza!!)

Y/n: is he cute?

Erza: well it depends what u define cute as. I personally find him very cute.

Y/n: From 1-10. 1 being cute, 5 being hot and 10 being sexiest man alive.

Erza: hmmm. I think a 9 or 10. Where did u hear those terms anyways. Wendy doesn't even know what those mean.

Y/n: heard it in the guild. Master was reading a magazine and saying thats a beauty, ur sexy and things like that to it. I assumed he was talking about the models.

Erza: hmmm. He should be more careful. Well theres 2 days left before i leave, are u sure u don't want to come?

Y/n: yeah. I'll stay. And I'll make sure the guild behaves and dont cause trouble.

Erza: thats a good idea.

*day right before they leave*

Makarov assembled the whole guild for a special message. i was confused on why he did that so i just let him talk. Erza was with him too so it has to be really important.

Makarov: So u all know about the S-Class exams so let me skip to the point. Most of u are all immature little brats so Erza gave me a suggestion. Put someone who is responsable in charge. So i thought about putting someone in charge for the time being. that person will have all decision regarding the Whole guild while we are gone.

Macao: well who is it?

Makarov: that person is..... Y/N!!

Y/N: What?!?! Im flattered but i cant...

Erza: nonsense! im sure u can keep the guild under control for a week.

Y/N: ok ill try my best not to disappoint u.

Makarov: so to close my little speech of, I want to wish best of luck to the S-Class mages and those going on the exams. I want to see u all at the port at 9 am sharp tomorrow morning.

And with that the master left and i was put in charge of alot of people who are alot stronger then i am though what could go wrong.

*Next morning around 8 am*

I needed to tell Erza something before she left. when i Got to the port of course she was the first one there. She was wearing Her armor though since it was really hot im guessing she'll requip into her bikini. She has lots of nice requip armors.

Erza: oh Y/N, what are u doing here? are u coming with us after all?

Y/N: no. i'll stay to watch over them. but i just wanted to say that u have to contact the guild lacrima if anything goes off trck in the exams. Or just call me everyday to fill me in on who is out and who isnt.

Erza: no problem. Just keep the guild Lacrima on u at all times. I asked master if u could stay at the guild during the night too and he said yes.

(forgot to mention, u sleep in Erza's room in Fairy hills)

Y/N: Be really careful.

I hadnt realized that everyone was arriving now and that is was almost 9 am. I decided to wave good bye to the guild memebers leaving.

Y/N: Bye everyone!!!! Good luck!!!!

Then i left to go to fairy hills and pack a bag for me to put stuff in to be able to skleep in the guild. I might also ask if someone can stay with me.
