So this chapter pretty much leads up to the part where Zeref gets cursed and tries to ressurect Natsu. I'll probably make certain parts up. But yeah enjoy!

Y/N's POV

Over 400 years ago, i was 10 years old and i alone was supporting the family. There was me, Zeref and Natsu.

I didnt know how to read or write, since im a girl. Damn these people, but i was intelligent. Natsu had died about a year ago and i had encassed his body in a globe of solid Amber, because Zeref had asked me too.

Zeref was finishing an entrance paper to get into Mildian Academy of magic. Zeref was 5, Natsu was 3 when we had encassed him.

Zeref wouldnt tell me what his paper was about but since me and him had superior intelligence compared to alot of people, i had nothing to worry about.

Today i was bringing Zeref to the academy so he could start there. I made sure his white robe and black toga was on right and it embarressed him everytime i had to fix it.

Now where were our parents? Our home was attacked by dragons 2 years ago killing all 3 of them. I had managed to pull Zeref out of the burning home, with barely his life. I pulled Natsu out as well...but Natsu and our parents weren't as lucky though.

What i didn't know was that Zeref had written his paper on a very delicate topic: Life and Death. Writing on this was a very big taboo for us. We worshiped 2 major deities: Chronos, god of time, and Ankhseram, god of death. 

I was working for the academy as a servant because I couldn't be a student due to my gender. Only the rich girls got education. We were average-poor. I made just enough money to be able to buy food and such.

In Mildian, our capital, i was considered an above-average girl based of looks and brains. But because my parents were dead i had to work hard. And the damn rumors that went around about me and my brother was hell. Since i was a servant, i was respected by the teachers as hard working, by parents as responsible, but by students, a worthless girl who only exists for her looks.

I was brooming the main hallway when i saw a crowd at the end of the hall way. 3 teachers and my lil brother Zeref. I hid behind a pillar and listened closely knowing i could lose my job by eavesdropping. They were talking about his paper. When they mentioned Life and Death should not be tampered with, i was slightly shocked on what he wrote about.

It was probably for Natsu. He really loved him. And i loved them both. I knew Zeref like the back of my hand.

Later that day when Zeref came home with me, i warned him just like the teachers did. He looked sincere.

A few months later, i was turning 13 and Zeref was soon turning 8. the headmaster had agreed to give me a few lessons on reading and writing. I was learning fast too. He even let me assist to Zeref's presentation.

Zeref wouldn't tell me about it so i was excited. I entered the room full of grown ups, i saw a board in the front and Zeref beside it. He never noticed me so he started talking.

"It's still a theory but if we could successfully gather 27 million of these magic spheres, the R-System would be complete. " i almost spit out my water at what he was saying. R system meant Revival system for short.

The feedback from certain people was good but the headmaster was'nt happy about it. Zeref had once again broken the rule. He was doing all of this for Natsu. According to his theory, a sacrifice would be needed to bring back his life.

The headmaster brought it up with Zeref along with me there this time. This was one of Zeref's last warnings. He had 2 warnings left.

He brought it up 5 years later due to another research subject. I was 18 then. I could read, write and do all an adult could. I just couldn't seem to get a boyfriend for some reason. I had started to do something I hadn't done in years. Pray to Ankhseram. I was almost begging him to forgive Zeref for searching up on this subject.

It wasn't until about 3 months later that something strange happened in my routine. The quartz statue of Ankhseram began glowing and the room began turning dark even if there was natural light coming in. Fog began to accumulate in the room and a figure began to form in the fog. It also spoke.

Ur brother is committing plenty sins. If he is to continue, he will be punished.

I spoke even if my body was shaking at the moment. " i am sorry on his behalf! Forgive him!"

He took a step forward and touched my forehead with his index and middle fingers. What soon appeared on my wrist was an unusual scar that resembled a flower. I then realized that i was looking at myself and Ankhseram speak.

It was like i was floating above my body. My eyes began to turn a red-ish color and my hair flowed like there was wind in the room.

I then felt like i was sucked into my body again. I felt normal and the fog disappeared. "Did Zeref put something in my food this morning? Nah! To smart to do that" i got up and left the room. I began to research how to create charms. Anti magic charms.

3 years after that again when he started thinking of his new theory of the Eclipse gate. A time travel gate.

I was working on a specific kind of charm on the same day in another room. The headmaster told me about Zeref not letting go of his theories and told me what the board decided to do. Expel him. He left my room without another word.

Lucky me! I had just perfected my anti magic charm. It protects the user who holds it. But only its user and whoever it touches. I left my room to go find Zeref and tell him about my discoveries.

But when i got there, i heard the headmaster talking to Zeref and suddenly scream at him "u can't bring back the dead. Ur brother isn't coming back to life!" I entered to see a dark kind of energy emitting from him as he geld his head in pain. He stuttered a warning to the professor.

"This is Ankhseram's wrath!" He looked scared and i ran up to Zeref holding my charm in my hand with a lot of force. As i got closer a ginormous wave of black energy spread across the school and it went quiet.

I opened my eyes to see a scared Zeref and everything around us dead. The plants, teachers and students were all lifeless. "A-Ankhseram black magic?!?!" Zeref slowly backed away from e with fear in his eyes, "How are u not dead?"

I opened my hand to see my charm completely disintegrated. "My creation saved me.The very first Anti-Magic Charms. I am its creator" Zeref became immortal and for the next few years, i created Anti-Death Magic charms so i could help Zeref. I kept my secret about what happened a few years ago, I always had one of my charms around my neck.

When Zeref completed the Eclipse gate and the R-system, i had created different plans for different charms and placed them in a silver and gold box. Zeref had started creating demons who later became known as the the demons of the books of Zeref. Or the Etherious. He wanted to die, which kinda broke my heart. I still wanted my brother alive. One had died, i didn't need the other one dead too.

One day, i was working on a new kind of charm when Zeref had come into my room."I found how to bring him back to life! Come see" I rushed over to the ball of ember which encassed my youngest brother. For once in almost 15 years we opened the ball and Zeref made a kind of vine enter it. I couldn't believe it.

Natsu suddenly opened his eyes. I felt happy but i was still upset. He made the strongest Etherious and brought his brother. His Etherious demons are made to kill him so if Natsu was his new Etherious and stronger, if he killed Zeref in the future, Zeref would disappear along with Natsu.

I approached the ember stone and took Natsu in my arms. I placed a neckless charm on Natsu and Zeref pet his hair. "Im ur older brother Natsu. My name is Zeref Dragneel.". I smiled as Zeref almost cried."And im ur older sister, Y/N."

A few weeks later Me and Zeref met Igneel, the king of the fire dragons. He told us about his plans to teach Natsu dragon slaying magic and i agreed. Zeref did too. One day, Igneel told us about sending 4 other children who had learned dragon slaying magic as well to the future in order to defeat Achnologia. Those children were Wendy, Gajeel, Sting and Rogue. Raised by Grandeeney, Metalicana, Weisslogia and Skiadrum. They were dragons who didn't think badly of humans.

I had met these dragons during a period of time so i knew what they all looked like. So many different personalities but they would all follow the same destiny. In the future they would be sent to kill Achnologia. I would never think that i would one day have a child with one of these kids.

On july 7th, X377 the Magna Carta, a pact in which the remaining dragons agreed to watch over humanity as it created the future, on that day the 5 were sent to the future by the celestial wizard, Anna Heartfilia, Lucy's ancestor. But that day, i asked Zeref something that would change my destiny.

"Let me go through as well. Let me make sure the dragon slayers grown up without danger" Zeref seemed shocked when i told him that. "but why?!?" "I buried my Charm plans to get them in the future. I need to watch over them before Achnologia wipes them out before they can grow up." Zeref got up from his chair and told me something important.

"the dragons are using soul seals to protect themselves and the dragon slayers.If u went, u would go from 22 years old to the age of 4. Are u sure u want that? ur memories from now would almost all disappear. They would slowly come back as u age though." I hadn't realized all that. It would almost mean restarting my life from square one. "Yes im sure."

So on that night, a lunar eclipse happened and the gate opened. All the dragons all said together "Dragon's secret art, soul seal!" and since the 5 kids were sleeping, they disappeared and entered their bodies and we went through.. As we went through, i waved goodbye to Zeref and as i looked at myself, i could see myself turning younger again. The door closed and my vision of Zeref and Anna disappeared and the light reappeared behind me. 

The gate reopened and I saw a younger version of Anna, but it was probably her ancestor. It is 400 years in the future. we were let out of the gate and i was the same size as the rest of the dragon slayers. But the only thing is, i couldn't remember the last 18 years of my life. It does make sense. 

4 adults took us and told me that they would place us at different areas. Me, Rogue and Sting would be placed near Oak Town, Natsu would be placed near Magnolia, and Gajeel and Wendy would be placed at different areas as well. They were all sleeping like rocks. 

The woman that was with Me and the 2 dragon slayers started talking with me "So u are Y/N, am i correct?" I nodded my head."Aren't u supposed to be a little bit older? I was told u were supposed to be a bit older? I was told u were 22.". I shook my head to tell her she was right."Yeah!But going through the gate made me 18 years younger. My memories from then are almost done." I squeezed my hand like a mother would. "So i will be taking care of u till u grow up, ur brother asked me to."

I smiled sweetly. and this was my beginning in the year 777! I had no idea that i would later meet all of the dragon slayers in the future. This woman became known as my mother but she wasn't biologically my mother. After i got kidnapped a year later, Rogue found me and i brought him home with me. My 'mother' accepted to bring him in. At the moment, I couldn't remember anything about the gate or being older than this. 

So that's basically my story. But i guess the story on how i got kidnapped and why will come later. I'm 20 years old now and i'm gonna have to go back to Mildian some time. I still dont remember everything that happened, but most of it yes. Up to the time Zeref 'accidentally' killed the whole Academy that is. but the rest will come later.
