-Your POV-

Typical Friday. Food & Health In the first hour. So KRLE. Then efforts for others. Just as any Friday. But today, today was something else. A new feeling flooded in my veins. Or new power. I was familiar with the blood rushing thru you when you're bout to shift. But this time, I felt power more than pain. So as soon as I can outside of school, I let it begin. Scales growing my claws digging down into the earth under.

Fire building up in my throat, warming my insides. Wings spreading, tail swaying. Roars, a roar of power, graze. I shook my horned head and closed my eyes as I focused on the sounds around me. Voices of my classmates, their breaths. The sound of their feet against the concrete. There, the breath of Elias. His deep voice vibrated in my sensitive ears, sending tiny shivers down my spine.

I then feel their gaze. They're afraid, surprised, confused. I sigh heavily before turning my head around. There I see Elias, Beli, and the rest of the class. Even Desirè is there. I stare them deep in the eyes. I then say in their minds. "Fear not, my friends. For I will not harm you. You have strong hearts, love, and live your life's to the fullest, for I will be gone but come back before the last day of summer. Then we can play again." I then cut the link and entered Elias's mind instead.

"Take care, love. Look after my friends, make sure they're happy even when I'm gone. Take care, Elias" I then cut it and left. I flew to den not far away. I let my body slide down at the cold stone as I fell into a deep slumber.
