Echo's POV

I walk to dark and smile as i look at all the other knights of my fathers kingdom gathered in this one room, all of them staring at me. But none make my blood more cold then the other lugia in the room. his deep blue eyes seem to look into my soul and take it apart, bit by bit, causing a cold sweat to drip down my back, soaking my fur. Dark looks at me, his deep red eyes causing a wave of calm to wash over me.

"Greetings prince Echo, it is such an honor to finally meet you. I am Storm. second in command of your fathers guard and army. Brother to dark," He says the last line with a smirk, a smirk that causes my blood to run ice cold.

Dark gulps and glares at Storm "Yes Echo this is my brother storm who was just about to go train his squadron." Dark glares at his brother still as he laughs and walks away, followed by a whole group of very large pokemon.

Dark turns his gaze back to me, his gaze softening as i start to blush. He looks me up and down and smiles, the same smile i cant help but love. He moves closer to me and touches my cheek. "are you doing okay Echo, Storm can be pretty intimidating."

I gulp and nod, looking to where he had left, the memory of his gaze causing me to shiver in fear. Dark notices and rubs my cheek again. "your um brother is just, hes really scary and i worry what would happen if we were left in the same room together."

"dont you worry one bit love, im gonna make sure that there is always someone there to watch over and protect you" His voice get soft as he leans in close "i love you Echo."

I smile and whisper "i love you too dark, so much."

He smiles and waves over a male meowstic. I go through my memory and before i can piece together what hsi name is he gives it to me, offering me his paw. "Greetings Prince Echo, im marchiavelli, friend to dark and best psyching on the team."

"Well Marciavelli its very good to meet you. but why dark you called you over im beginning to wonder," i hum and smile at them both.

Dark chuckles "for cases when i cant protect you im going to suggest to yoru father that he have Marchiavelli act as my replacement so that way youll always have someone to keep you safe." Dark says with a smile.

I smile and nod, rubbing my claws together happily "Yeah that sounds like a wonderful idea, im down." They smile at me and walk me to the exit, dark explaining that were all going to get some breakfast together, making me smiles wider
