Recap: We need to talk

     I sighed before looking at Hailey. "Hailey would you mind a few house guests for a few hours?" Hailey shook her head.

   "Not at all. Just as long as they don't fuck with my shit we should be fine." I snorted before turning back to Slender.

      "I suggest getting your people out of my maze before they get eaten by one of Hailey's creations." I stated before walking inside. Hailey not far behind as the hounds obediently sat by the porch.

3rd

   Slender teleported back into the maze before leading his Proxies to the front door. Jeff holding the girl protectively in his arms as he whispered comforting words. She relaxed somewhat before tensing again at the sight of Kylie's cabin.

    Slender and two of his main three Proxies were the only ones who seemed a bit calm. The other two were all on edge. Though they hid it with crazy.

  Kylie.

    "So... what's the plan?" Hailey asked me from the kitchen.

  "We find out what Slenderman and his minions want and then go from there." I said distractedly as I cleaned my dagger till it shone.

  There was a knock at the door. "It's open!" I called with a smirk. The door slowly opened and I looked over to see Slender ordering his proxies to wait outside as we talked. They nodded hesitantly. I held in a laugh as he practically bent in half to make it through the door.

    "It's not funny Kylie." Slender muttered before sitting in the chair next to me.

  I chuckled. "We'll have to agree to disagree." Looking from the corner of my eye I could see how annoyed and uncomfortable he was. I sighed. "Look Slender, I know that girl isn't some straggler that wandered into my woods. You wouldn't be here if she were."

   He sighed. "That is true. I must give you that. However, something like this isn't easily explained. I've never come across such a-"

    "Get to the point Slender." I growled out.

   "This girl isn't human. Not to normal standards at least. She has abilities. Ones I can't help her with. She can feel vibrations from the earth; Wield shadows; and can control the blood from inside a person's body. She doesn't have complete control over any of it."

    I understood what he was saying. "No. No way in hell. Uh-uh. Not happening. Nope. Goodbye. I said as I stood up and walked outside. "Kylie wait. Please."

     I snorted as I walked across the the open field to the left of the building. The proxies stood motionless as Slender followed me. "No Slender. I can't teach and you know it. I can barely interact with anyone other than you and Hailey let alone a girl with similar powers. I can't."

     "You can't or you won't?" He argued.

   I stopped in my tracks before turning to him. "Both! Both okay?! I can't therefore I won't." I yelled. I noticed the proxies tense at my volume. I looked back at Slender. "I can't. And you know why."

    "Please Kylie. 1 month. That's all I ask. If it doesn't work out, fine. We can go from there. But at least try. What harm could it do?" Slender begged.

  "You know exactly what could." I stated looking at him. I sighed. "But it's worth a shot." I began walking back to the house. "If this ends in flames we blame performance issues!" I yelled back at him.

   I heard him chuckle. "Of course." I walked up to the awaiting proxies.

      Slender appeared behind me. "Okay everyone, I believe that it's time for proper introductions. So let's go inside and have some tea. I might have some cheesecake in the fridge." I said glancing at two of the main three who seemed to glow at my words. I smiled and gestured to the couches before walking into the kitchen where Hailey made tea. "No poison." I whispered. I chuckled at her whine.

     "Fine." She said before grabbing the tea tray. I grabbed the cheesecake and the required materials.

    After everything was dished and handed out we all sat in the living room. "So, what was your name again?" I asked the girl as she curled as much as she could into Jeff. "Ravenna." She said just loud enough for me to hear. I nodded.

    "Well Ravenna, I hear from Slender you are having trouble controlling your abilities. Care to elaborate on that?"

      She became even more nervous. Her hands began to shake. And as this happened the other proxies were scooping cheesecake into their mouths eagerly. "U-um...uh..." Jeff gave her a comforting squeeze. I looked at everyone's expressions.

    Slender's was a Blank slate as always. The cheesecake devourers slowed slightly. Jeff was more focus on his girl. And Toby was having a conversation with Hailey  about something.

   I sighed and rubbed my nose. Slender if we are going to make any progress I'm gonna need to talk to Ravenna without outside influence. He sighed before looking at the proxies who nodded and left. Jeff held Ravenna closer.

   "No way! I'm not leaving her here with this psycho! I snort. Slender just looks annoyed. He uses one of his tentacles to grab Jeff. He hesitantly sets Ravenna down and gets dragged from the house. I snort at them before settling back down in my chair.

     "Okay Ravenna, let's start from the beginning. When did you find out about your powers?"

   She looks down at the ground. "I wasn't born with these powers. They were forced into me. My father injected me with something when I was only four. My mother died saving me."

   My eyes widen. "Do you know your father's name?" I asked shakily.

      "Micheal. Micheal Shires."

  I chuckled Wryly. "Now how did that old Bastard do it?" I growled.

  "Do what?" Ravenna questioned.

     I pulled out my locket and showed her the image inside. "How did he have a 3rd daughter without the rest of us knowing."
